It is surprising how comfortable and quiet the lightweight construction of these shoes is. It was shoes such as these we called 'sneakers' when I was a kid. Retro may be 'in' now, but these brought back memories of early running style sneakers from back in the day. Love them. Not sure if they would hold up to to much abuse. As I recall even in the day they wore out about the same time we outgrew them. But they are cheap and you could always try one of the other cool color combos. Two thumbs up!

These shoes are lightweight and comfy. Fit true to size. I would definitely buy them again in another fun color!

Stiff fairly hard sole. This is a retro shoe so don't expect it to be flexy and cushy. I tad narrow at the toes, which most shoes are.

Love these! I wear a custom orthopedic insole which limits the type of shoe I can wear, but these classics fit wonderfully- so light and comfy- almost slipper-like.

The shoes are really cool and look great. They also come with yellow laces, which I'm not sure they mentioned on the product page. Feel a little narrower than my previous pair of Tigers.

I walked/jogged in these for about a week and they were great, at first. Then, because I prefer to wear no-show socks, the vinyl lining on the inside of the heel started to chafe the backs of Achilles tendons and by the time I got back home yesterday, they'd worked the skin raw and I was bleeding. I've decided to return them for a different pair of sneakers that are lined with cotton.

Nice shoe, very light and comfortable. Zappos customer service is even better, polite courteous and informative and if you are unhappy with any purchase, their return policy is guaranteed hassle free.

These are the lightest and coolest shoes I've ever owned! They are a bit slimmer than other shoes of the same size so if your feet are wide order larger.

Definitely a half size smaller than normal sizing. Other than that, great casual sneaker and looks just like the photo.

Lightweight and comfortable. Very stylish though perhaps better suited for a younger, hipper consumer. I'm 41 so this may be pushing the edge...but they are great for a pair of casual sneaks.

These shoes are stylish and decently comfortable. The arch support is pretty high and actually hurt my feet for a week or so until I broke them in. I've seen a lot of people saying these run small, but I didn't experience this. From what I can tell they feel small because they are more narrow than most shoes, but stretch to your foot pretty quickly. As far as comfort I was a bit disappointed since I've been spoiled by Asics gel tech shoes. If you are looking for style these are your shoes, if you want something comfortable to be on your feet all day, get a pair of asics with the gel tech.

Very stylish. Hard to slip on and off which I love to do. Like but a little pricey in my opinion.

Because of the work I do, I needed a shoe that was silent and don't have that hard back to the shoe. These shoes are perfect for that. However, they are very tight. I use custom orthotics. Removing the insole of these shoes is a p.i.t.a. They used the strongest glue on the planet and applied it to the whole insole (they were really worried about the insole flying away). After putting in my own insole, there's not much room for my foot. I still like them and will buy them again.

I bought two pairs of these sneakers for my husband and he loves them. They are comfortable, breathable, and light. Overall, he prefers the Grey/KW-storm sneakers instead of the Black/Steel Grey. He thinks the Grey/KW-storm sneaker is more comfortable. The Black/Steel Grey sneakers have a different material and are a little stiff. He highly recommends these sneakers.

I like the style, but the shoe it sells is a little stiff. I would buy other colors but not for long periods of wear.

At first glance this shoe looked great from the get go. The construction of this shoe was great, no signs of over gluing or loose thread, and it was LIGHT. The step in feel was a little rigid though which was a worry of mine. But nothing a little break in time can handle right? Partially. I have medium arch feet and the support seems to ride too high for me, causing discomfort on my arches. Give it about a couple weeks of light wear and that should solve the problem. Overall this was a great buy. Light, durable, and this shoe doesn't seem to crease at all. Looks great with pretty much anything and it doesn't make you look like a Nike snob. Clean and simple that's what this shoe is all about.

I read the many pages of reviews prior to purchasing the shoe and I felt the shoe is true to its size. I wear a 10 and ordered a 10 and it fit perfectly. Shoe has great arch support as well. They don't feel like normal gym shoes, they are thinner than a regular "gym" shoe, very lightweight. It was nice that they came with the two different color laces. Zappos as always delivered in less than two days!

I bought these shoes for my boyfriend and they were a huge hit! They go with everything and are very stylish! Great color combo and he says they are really comfortable!

Excellent Price, Stylish Look, Moderate Comfort, Flimsy Construction Pros: Could not be more stylish. Not so bright that it looks like you have tropical fish for shoes. But just special enough to go with your low hung jeans and hip sweater. The price is unbeatable. Cons: Remember the low price? Well these shoes have a very flimsy feel to them compared to what consumers reared on New Balance or Adidas may be used to these days. This model is apparently from the 1980s, so you get a nice retro touch. But the bottom of your feet will feel very close to the ground and when you pick up the shoe you'll notice right off how light they are. Just a touch thicker than old Converse All Stars, but not by much. The arch support is moderate, not great. If you pronate at all, do not wear this shoe on a day when you have a lot of walking to do. Overall: a great bargain, but you get what you pay for. If arch support and comfort are important to you, hold out for a similar design from a more contemporary, more pedestrian-friendly, more expensive brand.

Great styling and very comfortable. I have been trying to fill the void from when Asics stopped making the Shihan shoe and the Onitsuka Tiger is a reasonable replacement. It doesn't meld as well to your foot as the Shihan but it is a great shoe for walking and everyday use.

My boyfriend ordered these sneakers and so far he is very happy with them. His only complaint is that they do not have a lot of support, but for casual shoes, they are great. He is between sizes so he ordered two pairs - the larger size fit better so I guess they run a little bit small. Overall these are perfect casual shoes.

I got the black/black version and it's one year later and I am shopping again...for the same shoe. They are totally comfortable and have a thicker sole than most slim fit shoes. I enjoy the fit/style and would order more color combinations -- for sure. Only con -- the Ultimate 81 is a bit more "slim" than they appear online.

I think my feet are normal size / width, so these shoes are comfortable and snug. On rainy days (as are common in Florida), they squeak like crazy when wet, even slightly. Scuff easily, but don't all white shoes?

Nice lightweight shoe, a little narrow so not for people with wider feet. One very comfortable shoe however.
