Great looking shoe. I like them for looks and style but they have NO support. I'm used to New Balance. They also did not last more than three months before the rubber in the front started to come off. Great for casual use but not every day.
I'd also recommend:

Style: 3, I have a navy Asics which wrinkles easily on top pad of the shoes due to the material they used. Comfort: 3, It is not the most comfortable shoes you can get for the money right now. It takes a bit of walking to get used to be semi-comfortable in the shoes. Overall: 3, It's not a bad shoes to wear. It's just that I think it could have been better for the money.

These shoes are not that comfortable for sneakers. They really don't have much arch support which is something that is really important to me. I do like the style of them and I will most likely use them with inserts.

Love the shoe fits great but the tread wore out way to quickly. I bought the shoes in Sept 2011 and by march 2012 the tread was completely gone. Love the shoes and will buy another pair but for the price I was expecting better.

These shoes look awesome, and it pains me to not keep them. They just felt uncomfortable with my arch. Not sure if that's something about my feet, since everyone else seems to like them.

Simple review, style is great, looks great, even got compliments on these shoes (I've never received compliments on shoes), but the shoes are dang uncomfortable. It's like you're walking on a piece of cardboard. Maybe a little better. But yeah, next time, I'm getting some athletic shoes.

After I ordered these shoes I liked the look of them and they were moderately comfortable until they came in contact with a small amount of dirt and stained permanently. Also the material above the toes began to tear on the outside (this also happened to my brother's pair of the same shoe). The shoes did not last much longer than a few months which is a bit frustrating. I don't think I would buy them again.

This is a great shoe. I see this style everywhere. Unfortunately, I had to return these because the mesh on the main toe part and the sides reminded me of an elderly man's shoe (similar to one with velcro). You really can't tell until you see the shoe...but when you where these with pants, it really looks like you are wearing a shoe you bought at discount warehouse store. I will try and find another Onitsuka Tiger with different material, but this specific shoe I was disappointed with. I ordered an 8.5 and I am usually between and 8.5 and 9 and they fit me very well.

Doesn't feel narrow, but looks very narrow. Comfy, stylish, but looks/feels more like a wrestling shoe than a tennis shoe.

Wider than I expected (especially around the toe area); however, overall a very comfortable shoe.

I had another Asics shoe that I loved so ordered this one. It is not as good because it is much lighter in construction -- fine for general wear, but not a good hiking shoe like the other.

Very good looking, but definitely more of a fashion shoe then a functional athletic shoe. Like the other reviews state, the back top lip does rub on the back of the ankle causing blisters, but nothing a band-aid or moleskin can't cure for the first few wears. The inside soles are not that supportive, but good for a simple outing. Good trendy shoe, but not for actual athletic activity.

It\'s a nice pair of shoes but I was disappointed with the fabric\'s texture. Other models have a more textile feeling to it, and this one feels more plastic.

Love the look of this shoe. The sole is not thick enough to use for much more than short walks and good looks. It is also sort of narrow, thus seems more narrow than labeled. I love Zappos deliverers (quick, quicker, quietest) so I can change the size or color before I forget what I ordered.

Only comfortable for short periods. Not enough shock absorption for long walks or when standing for longer periods.

These shoes are very cute, but I have to say that I can\'t walk around in the them all day without my feet hurting. I wouldn\'t recommend them for people with flat fleet.

I really wanted to love this shoe but the rubber on the back of the heel rubbed the skin above my heels (around the Achilles\' tendon) terribly. Five minutes of walking caused so much heat I could feel the blisters forming right away, so I had to return them. It\'s possible I could have broken them in but I wanted to return them before wearing them too much.

comfortable and cool/breathable. I’m happy with these overall. However, the soles are not great for outdoor use. Gravel gets stuck in them and won’t come out without major scrubbing.

I bought the black one with smooth leather, and was disappointed at how stiff it was even after breaking it in. According to the tag on the shoe, it is made of synthetic leather. I was expecting it to be real leather like on the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66, however, these feel a bit cheaper in comparison. I use this as an everyday walking shoe and found it hard to slip on and off without untying the laces each time because there is leather on the inside on the back of the shoe with a rubbery texture which prevents sliding. I noticed that different colored versions of this shoe uses different materials for various parts of the shoe as well. I think that if I had chosen a shoe that was suede, fabric, or a mix of the two over the smooth leather, it would've been a lot more comfortable. Walking comfort feels good and natural to me because there is minimal padding and arch support. MY ADVICE: STAY AWAY FROM THE SMOOTH LEATHER MODELS IF YOU CAN!

I bought the Black/Stone Grey Tigers. They look great with a pair of jeans, but they are by no means perfect. I didn\'t realize that there is a reflective section on the back, so I probably wouldn\'t wear them with shorts, and although I did not expect to go running in these shoes, there is definitly too little padding to do any sort of serious workout. I also couldn\'t tell from the pictures that the material for this color is a woven, shiny polyester. These shoes are really cool, just maybe not for everything.

I bought these shoes in black/steel. It was a really tough choice and I was looking for a shoe that would go with everything. In the picture I would say they look almost a little fuzzy like wool or something. There isn't a good description of the material, but when I got them they are like shiny jeans, and I wasn't sure if I was digging them. I decided to wear them around for a bit and see. As far as the color goes, I don't think I'm really a fan. The whole shiny jean thing just isn't doing it for me. The fit I would say (I'm a woman) is a little big. I think I definitely could've gotten away with an 8.5. I am generally between 8.5-9 and think that the mens styling of this shoe would permit to err on the the fitted side if you're a woman. Sadly, these shoes are sitting in my closet going to waste.

These shoes are absolutely funky-looking, but lacking in support. Lightweight, breathable, comfortable, and awesome colors, but if you're accustomed to more support and/or plan on walking a lot in them, beware. If these were as supportive as Saucony Jazz, they'd be the greatest sneakers around. Add some cushioning, Asics, please.

Great for looks, but needs more comfort -
This shoe looks great, but is really only good for that. I was hoping for a comfortable and stylish shoe to wear to my work where I stand a lot. My feet were killing me before I put in some new insoles. Besides that, I love how light the Ultimate 81s are. They really wrap around your feet and don't feel clunky at all. Asics really does need to invest in a little more padding on the insoles. They do seem to run a half size smaller than I usually wear.

Balanced -
Made of lower quality materials, took breaking in, dirty very easily. Everyone compliments them.

Not comfortable -
I had to walk a mile to work, and by the time I got there, I had massive blisters on my heels that still haven’t gone away. I thought that these shoes would be more comfortable, but they seem like track shoes to me.
