This is my second pair. They fit true to size and are comfortable and light weight. The sole provides good grip but can be noisy against smooth surfaces when wet. I purchased them in black. They do not scream for attention but still are stylish and sophisticated. Typical mode of failure: the soles will start to peel from the heel and toe area. Otherwise these are great shoes.

I really like the style and it's pretty comfortable. However, it feels about a half-size large to me. Also the toe of the shoe seems to be slightly peeling away after only a couple of weeks. It's not much yet, but make me worry a little about their durability. Overall, four stars with a few reservations.

Shoes look great! The sizing ran a little small for me. I usually wear a 5 1/2. 5 1/2 was tight, but the 6 was a tad too big but still comfy with thick socks. Also... the arch was supportive, but it hit in the wrong spot on my foot. It was a little too forward toward the toe, but again, still comfy.

I have two pairs of these shoes. They're super comfy despite not having much arch support. A lot of them come with a second set of colored laces which I think is kind of fun.

These shoes are different than I thought they'd be. First, in the picture, the fabric across the toes and along the sides looks grey but is actually shiny with a metallic sheen. Second, these shoes have very little arch support and are not suited (yet anyway) to be the everyday walking down to the store shoes I thought they'd be. For the sporty appearance, I admit I was expecting more comfort.

This is a great shoe that fits to size. It looks sweet, especially if you want a low-rise shoe that doesn't cause your pants to bunch. The shoes do have a small bump that, I think, is intended to contour the sole to the bottom of a foot. This seems to be unlike most other shoes, which have a flat sole. For someone with average arches, it took about a week to get used to it. For a person with flat feet, this shoe might always be uncomfortable.

Great shoe! I would buy this shoe time and time again (and have!). Lots of great colors to choose from and the shoe can take a great beating. Little less traction support than you would hope for, but again, so comfy!

I've been using 81s for years and they have been good everyday shoes. Comfortable, stylish and unique. But there are a few issues. 1. The material on the toe box varies for different colors. For example: a.Grey/Storm, Black/Birch, White/Jet, have an open sock-like mesh that is comfy but doesn't last as long as the other materials. In a little over a year I've had small tears on the lateral sides. b.Newer colors that have a tighter, possibly better holding mesh and ones with full canvas/denim upper should last fine. Would be even better if they re-released the leather ones. 2. The insoles are glued to the shoe. It would be nice if it was easier to replace them. Since the insoles wear faster than rest of the sneaker. All in all one of the better classic shoes.

I bought the Ultimate 81s in the Exclusive Black/Steel Grey. I wear a women's 8.5 so that's what I ordered and they're a perfect fit. These are my 3rd pair and I love Onitsukas - I ordered my fiance a pair with this order as well! My only issues are 1. As I was lacing them up the metal eye closest to my ankle on the right shoe actually popped out! I pushed it back in and all appears to be well but I'm keeping my eye (ha) on it; and 2. more troubling to me is that after ONE WEAR the toe of my left shoe the rubber lifted about a quarter inch so there's this bubble. I'm sure I can glue it back down but it was a bummer to discover this on brand new shoes. I didn't scuff them or wear them roughly at all.

Cute and comfy! I get lots of compliments on these. Not super supportive, but good for knocking around town.

Well made shoe. Feels sturdy even though the material is thin. Wouldn't recommend for people with very wide feet as they're on the narrow side, but other than that very nice. The size also seems to run small, get 1/2 to 1 bigger than normal.

This is a great shoe where form meets function! They are quite stylish but not overly loud so you can still wear them to work and meetings. But most importantly they are comfortable to walk in or stand in. My only complaint is they are a little squeaky when wet so I feel I make a lot of noise as I walk on concrete or hardwood floors with them.

I intially ordered a 6.5 but the shoe was too big so I went a 0.5 size smaller. However, the toe box was very flat and I have a high arch and the shoe was initially very thight but losened up. But a very cute shoe!!!

Great comfortable and stylish shoes. Bought them for my husband who loves them and wears them all the time.

Love these shoes! I wear them as my everyday shoe and and hold up pretty well, as well as the extra height on on the heel keeps my pants from going under the sole. I buy 1 size larger as they tend to be a little narrow.

I own several pairs of these shoes and they are great! I have wide feet and have no problem with the Tigers. The blue ones are my favorite - they hide a moderate amount of dirt, and look great with jeans.

I was a bit skeptical about these shoes being very comfortable given the seemingly minimal amount of sole there is (however, more than most other Onitsuka lines) but they are my go-to since they also look great. Not sure about longevity as I've only had them a month and they arrived with 2-2cm "bubbles" where the sole was not glued properly where it wraps over the left toe, hence the 4-stars overall.

These shoes are very comfortable. No break in period for me and I took them on my trip to Spain before I had a chance to wear them. They look cool too. The toe is a bit rounded so do not make your feet look small.

Bought these for my husband. Great looking shoe! Not a ton of support, but great shoe to wear casually. Not for someone needing extra support.

Great looking shoe. However, I wear orthotics and the shoe's insole was glued in. I had to rip the shoe's out in order to put mine in.

I've had these shoes for a couple of weeks now and I must say I'm on the whole very satisfied. The styling is very good especially for a shoe that provides support to my flat feet. The largest problem I've run in to is a lack of grip. After entering a building from a rain storm I found the shoes wanted to slide all over the place until I got onto some carpet.

I bought the white/mixed black version. I love the look of these shoes just as much in person as I did online. The suede on mine looks more off-white than the picture online. It comes with an alternate pair of black laces. Unfortunately, I was surprised how little support there is. If you are looking for comfort primarily, I wouldn't recommend this shoe. My pumas that I am replacing were 10X more comfortable. However, I still like these very much because of the style. I just won't be wearing it for any long walks.

Not the most comfortable if you will be spending a tot of time on your feet. But they look great and are comfy enough.
