Received these slippers yesterday. They looked nice, soft leather, no arch support, but that was expected. My husband complained about the seam from inside that was rubbing against his skin. Also they are way too small, my husband’s regular shoe size is 8.5, I got these slippers in 9, and it feels like he needs 10. Will be returning these sadly.

I need to go up one size. The bottom wears out and gets filthy. Unfortunately my husband loves them so after throwing away the first pair because they were ruining the floor we decided to just by a new pair twice a year because they are his favorites.

Previously owned the opera mocs,which lasted a gd 18mos of everydat us b4 they started to visibly show wear, decided to give the scuffs a try, as a chg of pace, when ordering another pr of the best house shoes I've ever owened, the op-mocs! In my opinnion The scuffs are adequate by comparison to the mocs. The cover your feet well enough,offer yr round indoor versatility of use(w/o sweaty side effect of fleece lined options)...except for in & out of shwr & are easy enough to slide in & out of w/the open back. Herein lies where I have a con or two...neither the scuffs or mocs offer any confidence to be used in damp/wet enviorments & the scuffs,in particular,can be precarious on slick surfaces...such as up & down hardwod stairs w/o a runner for traction & at times its a challeng to keep them on due to the open back while acending/descending! Otherwise, adequate!

I read the reviews so ordered half a size large. Couldn't get my foot in the slipper (no, I'm not Cinderella) and the heel hung off the back. I exchanged for an additional half size larger. Now the length is ok but it's too wide around the middle and my foot slips out.

Fall danger for older people. I have bought several pairs of these, but no more. They are soft and comfortable for summer wear around the house, but the leather soles are thin and wear out in less than two summers. A bigger concern is safety. The leather is slick, and does not offer secure footing on stairs, especially carpeted ones. I took a tumble this morning, but fortunately it was only on a single step down. I've had numerous near misses. As a senior citizen, I am well aware that one fall could be my last. I will be looking for slippers with stronger and less slippery soles, even if they are heavier. People with balance issues or older people should think twice before buying these slippers.

The fit was much smaller than I would have allowed for. I wear a true size 10 and this felt like a 8.5 or a 9 at best. The material felt and looked cheap to say the least along with a slipper like sole. Not impressed with this shoe at all!

Not long enough and not wide enough. My husband is size 10-1/2. I ordered size 11 & it was too short in the length. Ordered EEE width & it was not wide enough.
You might want to size up 1 size. Nice quality though.

Why do I need to 'break in' a pair of slippers? I have had these shoes for over a year and they are still stiff, painful, and uncomfortable. I have finally decided to throw them away. I absolutely cannot recommend them.

Zappos should stop carring this line of merchandise. I read the reviews and ordered a full size larger...I think I could have gone two sizes larger over that. This slipper is way too small, and now Zappos has to take a return. Not fair to them.

Constructed of stiff/hard leather, theses slippers are at least a half size smaller than marked, and far too narrow for my already narrow (c) feet. I'm just hoping that with wear, they'll stretch some width wise, and the leather will soften up too. The greatest disappointment of all is they're unnecessarily heavy. Make sure you're wearing these is a tornado approaches, you'll never leave the ground! I give these slippers 5 stars for style, but overall, they're terribly disappointing!

I'm very disappointed in this slipper. They are terribly mismarked as to size and width. I wear a size 10...ordered this slipper size 10 1/2 as recommended...returned it for a size 11 1/2. It is still too short and too narrow. Unfortunately for me going from a size 10 1/2 to 11 1/2 I was sure that it would fit so I threw away the box and now I'm stuck with this uncomfortable slipper. Totally dissatisfied and disappointed.
