The label on the bottom inside used that stiff clear nylon thread that is most uncomfortable. The slipper is nice enough looking, but not as comfortable as it should be to qualify as a slipper - not much padding. A bit tight across the top, too. I had to return these.

The slipper is very nice looking but I wear an 11.5 and cannot find any slipper in this half size. I also have a very narrow foot and that makes slippers that fit well, impossible. This slipper seems true length but is certainly not narrow.

New slippers - I have come to find that they are a bit snug but hope that they will eventually give a little.

These slippers were a disappointment. I hadn't worn Daniel Greene slippers in quite awhile and they certainly didn't measure up to previous ones. The leather was thin and unsubstantial. They bowed out on the sides as soon as I put my feet in. and I have a very narrow foot.

Been buying this slipper in other colors for years. Unfortunately the gold feels like cardboard, not like leather. Don't know if the quality in general went down, or it's just the gold, but I'm very disappointed.

Slippers are very comfortable. My biggest complaint is that the lining wears out so quickly and comes loose in the toe area. Also, the tag is irritating.

I bought this shoe because it came in size 13. This shoe was comfortable and fit well. Being more of a slipper, it seemed sort of a fragile shoe to do a lot of walking out and about in. I would recommend this shoe for someone with a smaller foot. The long toe cover I don't think fits well with large stature and feet.

While this is a beautiful slipper, I found the size to be small and too narrow than the usual size I wear. I was disappointed and returned them.

My mother loves these slippers, but there is a glitch in that the insoles do not hold up well at all and they curl at the toes badly. Relatively soon, long before the rest of the slipper wears out but great fit as very few slippers available in narrow.

Not for me! I liked the general appearance of this slipper, not my favorite… but ok. When I put them on, they felt awful! The insole is hard and stiff and the fabric lining was not comfortable either. I don't know how older ladies wear this slipper. I wear a 12N and it's difficult to find a slipper for summer, actually haven't found any! I bought 3 pair of Old Friend moccasins last winter from Zappos and they're great, but they're sheepskin.

Comfy, but prickly, sweaty, and a blister - Putting these on for the first time, they felt very comfortable. Makes sense as these are very basic. Then I noticed that the label, which is sewn in the bottom right under the arch of my foot, was scratchy and irritating. Manageable, but annoying. When wearing them for a while, I find my feet sweat, since they aren't leather (I should add that I don't wear any socks). Lastly, when I wore them for a longish walk with the dog, I got a blister on a toe (which has a corn). OK for scuffing around indoors or short jaunts.

My first pair of Daniel Green's - I heard so much about these slippers I thought Id try them.A bit of a disappointment- not the quality I expected. My feet are pretty tender and I found these to be fairly thin on the bottom plus my feet sweat in these slippers- not a good thing when you have cold feet. I probably won't buy Daniel Green's again- they're not as wonderful as I expected

I bought these D.G. Meg slippers for my mother. She wears a 7.5 or 8 N these were too large for her in the 7 N. I wonder if I ordered from a lot that was made large because I don't see any other reviews of the shoes being too large. They were too long and wide in a size smaller than she wears.

These run way small. I normally wear a 7 1/2WW - 8W, and I ordered an 8WW- can't even get my foot in it! There's no padding in the footbed either. I was expecting a comfortable slipper from all the reviews, but they don't appear to be very comfortable to me.

I wore them in the house on carpeting and when I took them off, the lining stuck to my toes and came out with them. For many years Daniel Green was considered the "Cadillac" of woman’s house slippers so I expected an excellent product. In addition to the lining coming up, the "leather" tops were paper thin.

I ordered these shoes for my 92 year old mother-in-law. She is wheelchair bound and wanted a light weight "shoe" to wear. I thought these would be perfect, especially since they came in W. However, when they arrived one pair was W and the other M. They both looked the same. I have a medium foot, so I tried them on. I couldn't get my foot into them, so apparently they run small width. They will be returned.

I purchased these for my grandmother as they are the brand she has always purchased. Unfortunately the quality of the slipper has declined - they were horrible - the leather was flimsy, the insole was already coming out...nothing was like the pairs she used to order. I would not recommend these at all.

Received these recently and I was really surprised since my last Daniel Green slippers were years ago. The shoe portion seems to be well made, the lining is very cheap and the soles are totally smooth making them very dangerous. I am still recovering from a fall on ice this past winter and a fracture in 3 places on my ankle. I don't want to fall again and will not buy Daniel Green again. Also there is no arch support in these, so it is like walking in bare feet when you wear these.

Either the wrong size was in the box...there were no markings...or this slipper is way off in size. I ordered a wide for my mother because that was what she normally wears and she couldn't even fit her toes in the slipper. Very disappointed.

I ordered this slipper once before in a 10W and had to return it because it wasn't wide enough. This time I ordered an 11W and it STILL isn't wide enough. My foot isn't excessively wide and I've NEVER ordered a size 11 in any shoe or slipper. I'm now hesitant to order any Daniel Green products. Daniel Green makes nice looking shoes but for some reason their sizing is a bit unregular. I shop with Zappos because they have a great return policy and that's why I've been a customer for six years.

Double check order before sending - The slipper has always been a classic - my GRANDMOTHER wore them - Mom is now 90, so you do the math - the slippers arrived, but someone had not checked the inside of the slipper - there was a lump of material in the inside liner that made wearing the slipper impossible - However, to Zappo's credit, they replaced the slipper immediately - new slippers: perfect
