Comfortable exterior and soft foot bed..well made.. but unfortunately for me, I have a large lump from bone spurs on my right foot back of ankle so can not wear them due to back fit. I highly recommend these shoes and wish i could wear them. Width just fits but a little too narrow for my right toes.

These shoes do feel pretty good, if anything, just a tad wide, but when the weather gets warm that may take care of itself.

This shoe was too large for me, had to return. It looked very nice and comfortable. Zappos did not have a smaller size, so I may have to wait until next year to try it. However, I have discovered that Propet shoes are actually wide enough for my foot, so I am looking into other Propet shoes.

The Good: They're very light and very flexible with a reasonable amount of adjustability in the width. The insoles are soft and cushioning. The straps do not rub or bind anywhere. The heel is closed so some support is provided there. The insoles are removable, and orthotics fit nicely. I can also fit a Chacos insole in them, for better arch support. They're not terribly overpriced. Over the years I've learned that these days, beyond a certain point a high price is not indicative of quality, either in design or materials or production. The heel strike is angled, making a more natural walk. The toe is nicely rounded, not overly tapered on the outside like a lot of Euro shoes. The Bad: They gape around the inside of the arch. They are far too wide there to be a Medium or B Width, which is what I ordered. I need to adjust the straps to their very narrowest, and I do not have a narrow foot, so they are cut too wide. They also suffer from lack of enough arch support. The Ugly: Well, they're not sold as fashion shoes and neither should they be. At least they're unpretentious. Nothing worse than a load of garish decorative features stuck on a basic ortho shoe to try to disguise it. They're close enough to my skin tone that they do not draw attention to themselves. I like the pale footbed too, because my misshapen toes don't stand out in contrast to it. I think the designers have done the best job they could.

Sandals at last! After a stroke 2 years ago, they're the first sandal that works with all my orthotic supplies and there are many!

Now I can wear sandals! I thought I would have to give up sandals now that I have had foot surgery and must wear an orthotic. These sandals, however, hold the orthotic perfectly and fit like a dream. They are as comfortable as a good athletic or walking shoe. These sandals are not as "cute" as I might like, but I can live with that because they really are regular sandals. Have never purchased Propet before, but I'll be looking at their other styles soon.

Ease foot problems - I finally found a pair of shoes that I can feel reasonably comfortable in with all my foot problems. I wish they didn't look so clunky but with my problems I have to be satisfied or go barefoot. Which isn't comfortable. Thanks- I wish they came in white or a summery color.

Pain relief - I have neuropathy in both feet and spend much time looking for comfortable shoes. This pair has not cured the disease but has introduced some comfort into my life. They are not the best looking shoes among my 15 but they are the most comfortable. Shopping with Zappos was a positive experience. The order was easy to place and arrived with 4 days. I can and will probably order again.

Finally a sandal even I can wear!! I have terrible looking and painful feet. Until Zappos I was having trouble finding wide shoes in nice styles. This summer I was determined to find a sandal I could wear during all this hot weather. I tried many and, finally, found this shoe. I'm not crazy about the looks of them, but I've received compliments, so it may be me more than the shoe. I can't say I can wear these all day, but I can wear them several hours before going back to my Brooks Addictions. Again, I have terrible feet, so this is probably me rather than the shoe. At least I can wear a sandal when I'm looking for a better look than a sneaker with my capris. I give these a thumbs up.

Pleasantly surprised! I am extremely pleased with these shoes. They are very comfortable and required little "breaking in." They fit my foot well and adjust easily to fit my feet even when they are swollen during the summer. The arch support is great without being overly hard on my feet. I was afraid they would look like "granny" shoes and was pleasantly surprised because they don't. Even my critical daughters found them suitable for mom.

Cool sandals - These shoes are great. My only problem is that the top strap is just a little short for my high instep. From past experience with Propet, this will be fine in a about a week but all the shoes I have gotten from them in this size have been perfect except the sandals all seem to need just a touch more strap

This shoe is very comfortable and I bought it because it would fit my orthodics, but I have a very small foot and this looked way too clunky and orthopedic for me. Would be a great shoe for siteseeing, though.

Anne from Milwaukee - Purchased a pair of size 8.5/2E width, which were great post surgery. Then ordered a D width when feet were back to normal. Strap was too short and barely could be fastened, allowing nothing for adjustment. I was very disappointed that I had to return them. Thank you Zappos for great delivery.

Pedic Walker - The shoes were just what I have been looking for. An open toe, airy, good looking shoe as well as very comfortable. This shoe is for my wife who wears a calf high brace on her right foot. The only problem encountered was the upper strap was a little short to fit over the foot/brace. She loves the look, feel and overall comfort of the shoe. I would recommend this shoe very highly.

Propet Pedic Walker - These are true to size but in my view must be worn with socks as the front of the show where it overlaps rubs on my toe. Also the picture and discription leads you to believe the entire shoe is leather on the top when the ones I received are a rubberized fabric on the toe area which makes the shoe less attractive but more comfortable.

I have been wearing this model of Propet sandal for at least 15 years. They are not super-stylish; but they have been very comfortable and the closed heel added to the support and allowed me to slip in my orthotics. I have noticed, in the past couple pairs, that the soles seemed less cushioned than they used to be. I weighed the new ones and an older pair. The new pair was more than 2 ounces lighter than the old pair. So while the price has gone up, the cushioning has been reduced and it was noticeable as soon as I put them on. I will be returning them.

The shoes fit but the velcro straps are way too short causing concern that the strap would open creating an uncomfortable and unsafe conditon when walking. I liked the idea of having velcro straps to easily fasten the shoe however, the straps are too short to securely fasten and maintain the shoes' attractiveness, because too much of the bottom velcro strip is exposed.

Shoe was short and unwearable

My 93 y/o mom loves these shoes. This is her third pair purchased for her. Unfortunately, this pair did not work out as well....the velcro came undone shortly after purchased and had to be repaired. Hence the lower rating overall.

I was happy with this sandal.

They were not what I wanted so I returned them.

The straps did not fit across the foot to close.

These sandals are extremely wide. I also agree with another review; they are ugly, but comfortable. I just wish they came in a slim width, not everyone has wide feet.
