Fits as expected. I have other Propet shoes in this size, 9.0 2(E) or WW. Top is nice and airy with adjustable velcro straps. Heel stays firmly in the right place. There isn't much arch support, but I always add an orthotic insert of one type or another. It didn't take much of an insert to make them comfortable. The beige nubuck is soft and comfortable and a nice neutral color; I just hope it doesn't get damaged with use as you can't polish out any scratches the way you can with leather. Photo's on the website show tiny airholes in the insole of the beige nubuck sandals but not the brown sandals. There aren't any tiny airholes in the insoles of either the beige nubuck or the brown leather sandals.

I purchased these sandals for my 90 year old mother who loves clothes and shoes but has stability issues while walking due to several falls. It’s not easy finding something that’s stylish, comfortable and safe. After trying multiple brands of shoes, I decided to purchase the Pedic Walker sandals in a 9.5 M by Propet. My mother normally wears a 9.5 AA but I assumed that with the adjustable straps and enclosed heel the medium width would still work and they do. FYI…the sandals look better in person and she was excited about how nice they looked on her feet. They didn’t look or feel bulky with her petite frame. The color is neutral so it will go with many types of outfits and blends well with her fair skin. They are easy for her to put on with the Velcro straps. They have a solid foundation and are extremely comfortable. I highly recommend.

I have really painful feet. I was a professional ballet dancer, so that should say a lot about my feet. I see som reviews say the style is old and looks orthopedic, I don’t think this. And, believe me, I wore beautiful high heeled shoes all my life. This is my second pair of this style..

I recently ordered several pair of the Propet Pedic Walker. They are perfect sandals in every way except for one I deal with often. First let me tell you that they have high quality, a soft footbed, very smooth inner straps with no pinching or bunching anywhere. The outer material is smooth and looks great (regardless of the color - I received 3 colors). I had planned to keep 3 pair, but they don't fit me. My feet are wide and my instep is high. The shoes were wide enough but did not have the support in the arch that I need. So....sadly, I am returning all the ones I purchased.

I have very wide feet and the instep swells and gets puffy. The slip on nature and velcro straps are accommodating and the heel strap is not intrusive. Since knee surgery these are the only shoes I want to wear.

They are very comfortable. I think they are great !!

Great shoe, but... This shoe was true to fit and very comfy for my feet. However, the heel managed to position me in a manner that aggravated an old knee injury. If you don't have knee issues, this is definitely a great shoe. It's light, looks better in person and sporty for a "orthopedic" shoe.

One of the few orthotic-friendly sandals - Finding shoes is difficult for me, since I have wide feet and wear orthotics. This is especially a problem with sandals, since most sandals don't have removable insoles. This sandal is the only one under $100 that I've seen so far that matches my specifications. I had to return the first pair of these because W is not a wide enough size to wear with my orthotics, but X fit perfectly. My only complaint is that the strap nearest to the ankle is longer than it needs to be.

Very happy - The sandal fit my orthotics well and came in my wide width. Was very light and felt great.

Supportive sandal - Excellent support and easy to put on. I thought that it looked chunky; but I got several compliments on it. Zappos credited my account when I saw this shoe at a cheaper price elsewhere on line. I like doing business with Zappos.

Cute on little feet! I bought these for my 78-year-old mother. They look really cute on her little feet and give her more stability when walking with her walker. She needed something with a lot of support but cooler for summer and this fit the bill perfectly.

Comfy - I have a multitude of foot problems and this shoe is the only one to offer the extra care that I need. I live in them now. (I do not feel like a runway model in them, however.)

Worth it - These are very comfortable and work well for my plantar fasciitis.

Happy Feet - This is the first purchase I have made of a Propet shoe/sandal. I love it, and I am looking forward to buying more styles. I have an extra-wide foot, and I am enjoying the look and comfort of this walker. Vacation is coming, and now I can enjoy "Happy Feet" and a smile on my face.

Comfort - I love Propet shoes - they are always true to size and I've found them all comfortable for my aching feet. These sandals are very comfortable and easy for walking!

Great shoe for orthotic users - This is one of the very few sandals that work well with orthotics that are not flat in the back. The closed heel makes a big difference. They are a little clunky looking, but feel great and are supportive and comfortable.

Best Orthotic Sandals Ever - This shoe is very comfortable and easy to use my orthodics in. It is also dressy enough for work.

Comfortable sandal! I like this shoe so much I've ordered it in 2 colors. It's not gorgeous, but very comfortable. The velcro straps allow you to adjust it to fit. I get some swelling in my feet and ankles and the shoe works for me. It also is closed in the back so I can use my orthotic support if needed.

GREAT shoe, quality workmanship - I've worn this sandal for about 2 weeks now. I even had room to put my custom orthotic in it and really found the shoe to be a superior quality shoe. The enclosed back keeps the orthotic in place and the velcro fasteners allows you to increase the depth of the shoe as needed. If your feet swell some by the end of the day, just let the straps out a little bit and continue on your way. I can see where it might be beneficial if the straps were just a tad longer, but mine are working ok, even though only a little of the velcro is catching, when the orthotic is in and my feet have swollen. All in all, this is a very comfortable shoe for people who have really bad feet.

Best that my feet have felt in a while - I have been having trouble getting shoes to fit and feel good. After reading the reviews I decided to try. The review was right and the shoes are wonderful. It took me a few days to feel comfortable but now it’s the best feeling shoe that I have had in long time. It is perfect for those who cannot find a shoe to feel good. I have a few problems with my feet but they are much less now with this shoe. I recommend trying this shoe if you have problems trying to find a shoe that feels good.

Not the most stylish - I have recently received these shoes and I love them. While they're not the most stylish shoes I've ever owned they are certainly one of the most comfortable if you're going to be doing lots of walking. I've had two foot surgeries and need another one. Finding comfortable shoes has been an on-going effort for me. These are very well cushioned with an easy fit. They're better than slippers! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a very comfortable shoe.

Propét Pedic Walker Sandal - I have to wear compression stockings and although I wear open toes, I have never liked the way the heel looked in sandals. I bought these to wear to Las Vegas, never had to break them in, and they were so comfortable and supportive right from the start and I came back with NO BLISTERS! Only sandal for orthotics - I am not 85 and this is a fantastic sandal. While it doesn't cut it for fashion if you are going to do any real walking it's the only one for you if you wear orthotics. In fact it should be marketed to podiatry offices!

Grandma loves these sandals - I purchased these sandals for Grandma when I noticed them on Zappos, because they have a closed back, removable insoles and velcro. Grandma has been looking for the right pair of sandals for 2 years! She loves these sandals and they are very stylish amongst the 80 - 90 year old crowd. I bought her a 6.5 although she wears a 7 in tennis shoes, and they fit great. Super padded.
