Love these boots.... I have 2 pair! My husband has a pair of the men’s version. Nicely made... comfortable. Seem to fit well. The only thing I would change is to make them a bit more “girl-y”. Otherwise, nice boots.

These wonderful boots deserve every five star review they have received! My long search for the perfect hiking boot is over. I can't say enough positive things about the quick delivery and easy returns which Zappos provides. I live in a rural area far from retail shoe stores and this policy allows me to try on and find the perfect shoe for problem feet. These boots are comfy, roomy in the toe box, provide support and are super good looking as well. I'm so happy with the product and this company!

These were amazingly comfortable from out of the box. I ordered these because I like the Ariat H2O brown waterproof ones that I wear constantly. These gray suede boots are made with waterproof construction, but I wanted the whole boot to be waterproof so I sent them back. I am not sure what the difference is, but read a review that spraying did not make them ?? percent waterproof. I will order another pair, but in the other style like I have already. Maybe copper this time! I found that I can wear an 8 Regular rather than the 8.5 W that I have now. To make my old ones snugger, I use an extra Ariat insole, and layer socks. These Ariat boots are supportive, wear like iron, and are comfortable.

i can't imagine a better hiking/riding shoe. I'm taking them to the Texas wilds in October and Nepal in 2019.

These are the horseman's hiking boot. We prefer to ride horseback but when we have to travel a foot we wear these boots.

This is my second pair of these boots-- and i bought them in black. I am a walking quadriplegic and have trouble finding shoes/boots that I can walk in easily but are super supportive. These are amazing - I can walk in them and they support me. I can stand and walk in them and my back doesnt hurt. They are wonderful.

I've been on the hunt for the 'perfect' walking boot - for hiking in not too rough of terrain, not mountain climbing. Headed to Botswana in a few months and need base protection from acacia thorns, and ankle protection from, maybe, snakes. I also need good arch support to combat both plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia (opposite feet), as well as plenty of room in the toe box. After trying a dozen brands that sounded like they'd fit the bill (Merrell -more than one style, Teva- more than one style, Salomon, Timerland, Lowa) I FINALLY found the perfect pair - for me! And, these boots are quite attractive for their type. While they come only in 'medium', the toe box is roomy enough for my somewhat wide feet, while wearing SmartWool hiking socks. Ankle support is good without being too stiff (I did not feel any kind of back seam as another reviewer mentioned, so no rubbing or blistering). The footbed had very good arch support and while it is a little stiff, it's begun to flex more in wearing just two weeks. I've been walking in them at least two hours a day on dog walks to break them in, and they've been comfortable since day one. No stress points, no toe numbness, no pain in the ball of my foot. Truly pleased!
