So far so good. I am often comfortable buying Rockport shoes because of previous satisfied experiences. I have had these for around two weeks (three days a week), and they are pretty comfortable. There is a point where there is some discomfort - on top of the MTP joint bilaterally. I hope that I will break it in to the extent that this improves.

It's in the bend - Nice shoe, really pretty, and I will wait to see how it ages. But, the area of the bend is getting quite a workout, and it shows. The toe is good, but the leather in that bend is not as strong as it could be.

I do not believe this is the perfect shoe but I am very pleased with it. It is a little larger than marked but I decided to retain because it is close enough. It does not require much break-in because it is fairly flexible. Nice cushioning. Would purchase again.

Keep your shoes on at the airport - I bought these shoes because I travel a lot and taking off my shoes at the airport really was a hassle. With these shoes I keep them on and walk through security with no problem. Well worth the price. The shoes are not very comfortable out of the box. They need to be broken in.

Comfortable...but funny looking - These are comfortable and truly waterproof. But they are shiny like those plastic rental shoes you get with a tuxedo.

Lightweight and comfortable - Extremely light weight and wears comfortably even over long days. Waterproof exterior is great for northern climates with winter snow and slush. Semi-dressy look with a glossy shine. Well worth the cost!

Nice Shoe, a bit noisy - I am a frequent buyer of the Rockport line and will continue to do so. This shoe is a bit squeaky and noisy and I do not know if it is the style or the particular lot run. I am a 14 W and I have limited choices. This shoe as a wide toe box and a great sheen for a dressier appearance.

Solid shoe - These are extremely comfortable and appear to be durable as well (waterproof body and sturdy sole). I'm not sure if they are worth the price, but I'm certainly not disappointed. When it comes to dress shoes, I'd rather pay a tad more and be satisfied than pay a little less and be stuck with a bad shoe. I'm probably going to get a pair in brown when my size becomes available.

Good Fit- With a very narrow foot, this shoe is an almost perfect fit. I had to walk several miles with the new shoes the weekend I got them and the break-in period was very short. I don't know if it is because they are waterproof or what, but they feel a little warmer than other Rockports. This is the only negative (slight) that I have observed.

Decent comfort - This shoe is not as comfortable as a walking shoe, but better than leather sole dress shoes.

Great Homecoming shoe- I really love these shoes. I bought them for Homecoming and I had a great time and my feet didn't hurt at the end of the night!

Rockport Clarksdale Shoes - Basically, they perform as I expected them to. There is a little tightness in the top of my left shoe, but I'm curious to see if that goes away after it is used for a while. Overall, I've been happy with Rockport products and have been buying their shoes for close to ten years. This model does not disappoint.

Too big! These seemed much too big for me. I wear 8 1/2 in other Rockports so ordered that size and these were huge. I'm trying a half size down to see if that fixes it.

Ugly but nice - Very 'utilitarian' in appearance but it works for me. I usually wear custom orthotics in my shoes and I was a bit worried about getting the sizing right so they would fit. I've found, however, that there's enough arch support in these shoes that I don't need the orthotics.

Comfort - The shoe was what I expected. I have had this type of shoe in the past, and I have never been disapointed with the quality or comfort.

Great selection and service - After strugling to find a pair of shoes in several stores, I tried online and found this website. It has almost exactly what I was looking for. I placed an order at night, and it was shipped the very next morning. The shoes fit perfectly. Now I know where to look for my next shoe shopping.

Great shoe- very comfy - I am a waiter and this is a perfect work shoe. Comfortable, durable, waterproof. It was just a little larger than I expected.

Clarksdales don't dissapoint - The only thing lacking in this stylish shoe is proper arch support. The technology in this shoe is impressive. While the footbed is engineered to be very comfortable I found it to be a little flat for my foot. I have had other shoes by Rockport and found that they also lacked arch support. I knew that this was going to be a great shoe anyways and I was right. I can always purchase arch support inserts.

Clarksdale looks good, fits wide - The shoe is very soft and comfortable in the sole. I wear a narrow width. Even so, it was very wide on me.

Rockport is slipping - These new shoes don't have the fit and finish of Rockport's I have purchased in the past. One of the reasons may be that they are waterproof, something I didn't realize when I bought them. They were listed as dress shoes. I have a narrow foot and my options are limited when it comes to shoes.

Rockport Clarksdale- It is an OK shoe. Its sole is a little thicker than regular shoes and it does not breathe very well because it is sealed, so my feet sweat. The leather is also therefore not very supple and they are taking some time to break in. And they look a little bulky compared to similar shoes. So I find I do not wear them much.

Roomy sneaker feel, bad creases in leather - Very comfortable shoe. Sometimes I forget and think I'm wearing sneakers. Good grippy soles, light, springy. Problem with the leather creasing heavily in multiple lines, after just one day. Leather looks a little cheap now. Haven't been able to check on the waterproof qualities.

Rockport Clarksdale Review - I have been a Rockport fan for over 20 years. I have purchased several styles similar to the Clarksdale that have been fantastic footwear. This model however seems to be very stiff, and rides higher on the instep. Additionally, it was very difficult to find the size that would fit. Thanks to Zappos and their patience (sending me and allowing me to return four pairs of shoes) I finally found a pair that I think will ultimately be comfortable, if they break in.

Nice, light shoe, but very stiff - I like the weight of the shoe and the look, but after wearing the shoe for a week, it is still very stiff.

Nice looking Shoe -- too "rubbery" The shoe is nice looking but the leather / rubber construction makes a creaking sound when walking. I'm somewhat disappointed for a Rockport.
