Great shoe for me - I have very hard to fit feet, either I put on a shoe and say they fit or they don't, I can't make a shoe work unless it fits just right. They are very comfortable, not just for a dress shoe, but for any shoe.

Great for business travelers - I travel every week for business and these are the perfect shoe. Professional looking, comfortable and waterproof - an unbeatable combination. I keep them shined up by frequently shoe shine booths in airports or doing it myself. I've have size 13 feet so I'm also on the lookout for the perfect dress and travel shoe, and is the best I've found. I wear nothing but Brooksbrothers suits and I have absolutely no complaints and issues with the Rockport Clarksdale and they're surprisingly rugged as well. Sometimes I even work out in them when I'm in a hotel gym while traveling. I own all four versions. (Black cap toe and wingtip along with the burgundy cap toe and wingtip versions - 4 in all). I'll be buying these until they stop making them. My only wish is that they made a dark brown version. (Currently they're only available in black or burgundy.) Lastly (just thought of this) I have weak arches and these shoes provide very nice arch support. 2 thumbs up - no complaints.

Fantastic! Holds a super shine, leather so soft it’s broken in after one wear. So cushioned it feels like a sneaker! Can be worn business casual and with a suit. Buy this dress/business casual shoe and you will never buy another brand dress shoe. Can’t say enough about it! I bought the black, so impressed I then bought the burgundy a week later.

Large sizes no problem - Since I wear 14D my selection is limited in most stores, but this is not the case at Zappos. Excellent service, selection and fair pricing, have been extended to me. Thank you.

Rockport Rocks - The best all around formal shoe. Comfortable, good looking and good arch support for someone that is flat footed.

Great shoe at a great price - I wore these a few years ago and loved them. I'm glad Rockport has brought them back, so much so that I just bought a couple of pairs. The Vibram sole is light and provides good traction. The smooth leather upper is easy to care for.

Better style - I just bought a new pair of Rockport Clarksdale shoes and am impressed with their stability, quality of build and style. I walk a lot in my job and need a dress shoe to support my feet and look professional at the same time. My hope is the Clarksdale will fit the bill for this criteria.

Comfort plus!!! This is a great shoe with a great fit. I wear them daily and do a lot of walking - my feet are not tired. I highly recommend these shoes if you are looking for great comfort!

Rockport Clarksdale - This is my favorite every day semi-dressy work shoe. True to size, good arch support, and ample width up front. Not as sharp and classy as a real dress shoe, but very nice and extremely comfortable.

Dressy Shoe with good function for the office - This waterproof shoe takes a high shine and merges with comfort Vibram sole. I have had 2 pair. The 1st wore out within 8 months of wearing 3 out of 5 days. This shoe is dressy looking and can go with business casual or coat and tie look.

A homerun! While I expected something that felt like a running shoe, these Rockports are my new favorites. Among the most comfortable dress shoes I've ever worn. They look great with a suit as well as jeans. You could bring these shoes on a business trip and you'd be covered for meetings and casual time. I ordered the wide. I might not have needed to...

Rockport (Clarkdale) -Black - Professional Look. Easy to polish. Light and good. Width was perfect. A little stiff. A little longer at the tip. On the whole the coffee color Rockport (Wind Falls?) is the most comfortable. The third pair also brown was a little heavy. On the whole it will take me a long time before I go in for any other brand of shoes if the Company keeps up with their standards or use customers feed back to improve upon some future models! What I like most about the shoes are: the comfort and the light weights.

Really like them - This shoe does what I want. It is good for walking around NYC.

Best shoe I've ever purchased for all-around casual work use - I debated after viewing dozens and dozens of shoes from various brands before I settled on Rockport's Clarksdale. Now, I wish there was some other, similarly appropriate shoe made by Rockport or other maker that would come close to this... but none so far. I love this shoe! It took about a week to break in and stop the rubbing on the back of the heel (bandages worn daily). Now, I am forcing myself to give the shoe a day off once a week, or I would wear them every day. I am online viewing other Zappos.com choices in search of something I like as much for my #2 Shoe - but no luck thus far.

Tremendous shoe - I had read many of the positive reviews about Rockports so I decided to give them a try. I had tried several other brands shoes and was not satisfied with the comfort level I wanted. I was very pleased with the look and feel of these shoes, but astounded with the comfort. They felt like slippers from the moment I put them on. The first time I wore them was at an all day convention and they felt wonderful all day! I will definitely be ordering another pair. These work great with a suit or office business casual.

Working in comfort - This shoe is everything one expects from a Rockport shoe. It is comfortable without question, the fit and quality are both excellent, and it is a very suitable work shoe. I purchased mine in the Extra-Wide size and am happy to report that I have finally found a shoe that fits.

Clarksdales after one month - Everything as advertised. Especially pleased that they really are weatherproof. Wore them thru the recent California storms. Shoes are lightweight.
