I thought by this being a man's shoe that I could get away with ordering a half size smaller and the D width since my foot is so wide. No such luck. It felt smaller than an 8½ and not wide enough. It's really a cute shoe even for a girl; just wish shoe companies would realize that not all women have small narrow feet.

OK - These Sauconys arrived very fast and I was pleased with the efficient purchase, however, the owner of them has told me honestly that the last pair he owned was much more comfortable. Being a drummer who's always on their feet, comfort is important. Sauconys have usually been #1 as far as comfort, I guess they've changed.

Saucony Jazz Originals - Well I got these shoes just for comfort and kicks, not actually running. They are definitely $40 shoes, but comfy for just walking around. I think they look pretty jazzy too, hence the name. Zappos was very easy to work with, I got my shoes in about 3 days, and had no problems with shipping, delivery or anything. Great service and great product.

Decent shoe - The shoes arrived in a timely manner and are comfortable. The size was right. I did order a half size larger due to comments on other reviews.

Gym or Guitar time - I have always wanted to get a pair of these, partly to the fact that I needed something that could get me 5 miles plus and as well as to wear when jamming on the guitar. For anyone that is looking for those two things in a shoe, Saucony is what you need.

Shoe review - The shoe is comfotable. I have purchased many pairs of Saucony over the last five years. This last one is a little disappointing. The fabric like upper folds [wrinkles] above the toes when walking. seems like the product has cheapened in the last series that came out. The sole design is very good for traction but the upper shoe no longer has my opinion of good quality to chose it over other brands.

I wish there were more room in the toe box. Like most athletic shoes, these are too tight at the front and too loose at the heel.

Cool vibe but too narrow. Make a wide version and I assure you you'll sell out. Just look at new balance 574. They have no competition in the wide game

I loved these shoes and have bought them for years. I ordered a pair about 6 months ago, exact same size, measurements and style as the ones I just received. I was so disappointed to find that they are way more narrow in the toes. I couldn't believe it so I had to measure the outsoles of the toe area and it was more narrow. Is this shrinkflation, shoe edition?? Why make these more uncomfortable and narrow? I'll have to return them and find a new brand of sneakers going forward, which I'm just disappointed by. If you have narrow feet I guess go ahead and try them but be warned they're different than what they were even 6 months ago.

Shoe looks great, fits well, very comfortable and lightweight. Major issue is I've only had them a matter of weeks and stitching is already coming apart in various parts, which is rather disappointing. See picture below. At this rate, I'm worried the entire shoe will fall apart in a few months-and this is with very light use, nothing extreme. Overall build quality seems very poor, would not purchase again.

The shoes were too tight and the toe on both shoes have now come unglued. I love the support and how they feel, however I'm disappointed that they have come apart.

I wear a size 13 so it can be hard to find shoes that fit well. My old size 13 pair of this exact same shoe fit great but these are just too damn small even though I ordered a size 13. It really sucks because I threw the box away and so can't return them, and have tried stretching them too, but after an hour or so I just can't wait to take them off. Won't be making this mistake again, 60 bucks down the drain.

The shoes seemed to be about a half size too large. I always wear an 11 and this shoe seemed to big. Plus, it just didn't feel comfortable. I returned these shoes.

Looking at some of the comments, I will see I'm in the minority with my review, but I will review these shoes anyway. I ordered a pair of Saucony Jazz from Zappos. At the time I ordered them, I was very excited to receive them. I wanted a simple shoe that provided good support at a good price point. What I received was a very cheap looking shoe that literally had flaws throughout. Upon receipt of my pair of Saucony Jazz sneakers, I returned them, unworn, to Zappos. It is a rare occasion that I receive any shoe from Zappos or any other retailer that looks like it was poorly, hurriedly constructed. This was one of those occasions. I have since purchased two other styles of Saucony Originals, but not the Jazz model. I actually prefer the Shadow model. If you are seeking better quality/construct with more support, you may find the Shadow to be more to your liking. The price difference isn't much for the variations on Zappos' site. I would also suggest ordering a half-size up.

These were super disappointing. I have been a longtime wearer of Saucony's vegan low-pro - like wearing a pair into the ground each year - and I wanted to try something different/more colorful. The first time I put them on they felt soft and cushy, and I was happy. Wore them for a typical walk in the city and started to feel unbalanced based on the level of cushiness. Then when I got home - blisters from the high heel at the back. I've never had to break in a pair of the vegan low-pros. My fault for trying to branch out, but I'm sad about it - now they've been worn outside and can't be returned. If you're considering this shoe and you have sensitive heel-backs, know that it comes up quite high and rubs, and if you have any balance issues of like stability, know that the extreme cushiness (which feels nice at home!) is not great when walking sidewalks.

These shoes were very comfortable, but they were a little too narrow and long. They also look a lot better in the pictures. Mine didn't have very good grip, and I was slipping a lot while wearing these shoes. If you want shoes for comfort, go ahead and buy these, but if you want to be "styling," then I would direct you in a different direction. Another fact: they are very thin, and didn't keep my feet warm at all. The toe area was less that 1mm thick, and I think shoes should be at least 1cm thick.

I've owned Jazz Originals before, and I really like the way they look. However, either Saucony changed the design, or the pair I ordered were both defective in the same way, because the sole is now mounted on the shoe in such a way that it rotates my ankles inward. As far as I can tell, the problem is that the sole doesn't extend far enough to the inside of the shoe, and so there is a lack of support on the inside edge of my foot. It makes them unwearable.

The Saucony representative suggested I tried these shoes because they discontinued my Jazz Originals Women's in red. These did not have any arch support as far as I could tell. I have to be careful because my feet rotate inwards. These shoes did nothing to prevent that.

While I love the way they look and fit, they don't seem to hold up well. After approximately 6 weeks of less than daily walking use I find they're already showing many signs of wear. I would not recommend buying these, and will not be purchasing any further pairs of these.

The shoe looks great and generally fits as expected, but the pair I received wasn't constructed very well. The upper part of the shoe at the heel was already peeling away from the foam sole before they were worn.

I have owned several pairs of the Jazz in the past and these seem quite different. This version seems to be made with cheaper materials. If I had not worn them outdoors I would have sent them back.
