Great Shoe for Walking - I get so many complements on this shoe. Very cute and very comfortable. True to size. I did find that the inside label crumbled after one wear. This didn't affect the comfort, however, it is a small shortcoming for the shoe. Would like a pair in each color, but I will be happy with the red.

Adjustable heel a boon for narrow feet! I bought this shoe because it A. came in orange (!) and B. has an adjustable strap at the back, which is terrific for my narrow, narrow, narrow heels. The shoe is well cushioned and very comfy, although I will caution that it is high around the ankle bone and take break-in time (and socks) to avoid chafing & blisters in that area. Also, orange suede it cute but scuffs very easily (I am guessing it's not pre-treated at all). Be sure to use suede protectant!

Mephisto disappearing! I was shocked to find that this super comfortable shoe's label inside the shoe that extends through the toe space is rubbing off! The L shoe bed is almost completely rubbed off after only 2 days wear and the right is partially gone. I discovered it simply because I felt something rubbing my toes. It was the "rubber" labeling that beading up under my toes. The heel "Mephisto" label is gone. I hate to say it, but if I pay this much for a shoe, at least they could provide a more permanent label. At first I thought maybe they were "knock offs", but, I purchased them at a reputable store. Otherwise, they are very comfortable, plenty of toe room, etc. Great for traveling so far. Now, I have to contend with the beading up until it is all gone. Shame on Mephisto!

Good but not great comfort - Overall they are very good looking shoes and they never smell even though I always wear them without socks!!! I have problems with my feet so I have to say that after wearing them for a while, my toes do start hurting even though they do not with Rockports. The inside lining started coming off just with one wear. I don't know at this point if I would spend that much money on them again.

Was excited about these shoes. They looked like just what I wanted but weren't. They are very nice looking, but seem to run a bit large. The heel is not as high as it suggests in the photos. I need some heel height. So they're going back.

The pictured color (dark red) for ocean/fume is incorrect. This color is very dark navy, almost black.

I have 2 other pairs of this shoe in different colors that are perfect! This pair didn't have the same mesh, and was too short, irritating a bunion.

Not a good quality shoe - I bought this shoe in Loden Suede. It really is the cutest, most comfortable shoe. However, the stitching on one of the shoes began to unravel on the second day of wear. A shoe this expensive should not have this problem!

not as comfortable as expected - I purchased this shoe for a week-long trip to Paris. I was seeking comfort and style. The shoe looks great. Evan after enduring a few rain storms, the color and finish were outstanding. I was very disappointed by the lack of comfort, however. The balls of my feet and toes were especially uncomfortable - felt uncushioned/unsupported. I have never worn Mephisto before, so I can't compare. My Arches sandals served me very well on the same trip. Also my daughter wore a pair of Mephisto sandals with a cork sole and she was very happy. Her walking shoes for the Paris trip were Merrell. For the price difference I think I will try Merrell for my upcoming trip to Israel.

So Crazy In Maine - This is a great looking shoe as well as comfortable. When I saw someone else wearing these, I had to get them. I do feel the price is much too high for this shoe and can't see why it is priced so high. The fit is great and there are adjustable straps to snug up the fit as well if needed.

A good shoe, though doesn't feel great barefoot--too many seams. While more stylish, this shoe doesn't seem to have the same level of quality as Mephisto's traditional shoes have.

I have had Mephisto shoes before and they rocked. But these are not the same shoe. They are built so well and solid they make my feet stink! I do not have issues in any other shoe, but am so disappointed in these! I know the company is reworking them but these are not their finest shoe. I recommend waiting until the next round comes out.

Uncomfortable shoe - This shoe is very uncomfortable for the front part of your foot as there is no cushioning under the ball of your foot, but instead is a piece of hard cardboard and a thin insert. If you try to put in your own insole it doesnt fit well. The shoe is not Mephisto quality and I think they are getting by on the style only. This will be my last pair of Mephistos.

These are my favorite 'everyday' shoes. I originally had patent leather ones and I also have green and tan Niro. I have other "Mephisto" sandals, but these are my very favorite ones. They are comfortable and are like wearing sneakers, but more dressed up.......but not too much so. I bought the fabric ones and immediately waterproofed them. They are a very nice blue.

I love all rounders. This is my fourth or fifth pair. Only regret: no longer available in black suede leather. So comfortable can wear on an outing right out of the box. I got the grey felt. They look good and I've gotten compliments.

Excellent fit and wonderful comfort - used them exclusively when I was on vacation!

I love this Allrounder style and have been wearing them for years. These blue felt ones are really cute. I almost returned them though because they squeaked loudly, but I decided to wear them around the house, and it eventually stopped. Note that I like the Niro because the body stretches slightly to fit the contours of my feet. I was worried that the felt would not, but I think it does have enough give. The top strap doesn’t feel quite as comfortable as usual, but I think it will soften with time. Fingers crossed.

Great shoe for walking and for everyday activity. Stylish and great fit.

I had this style in a sky blue color that I purchased many years ago. They’ve lasted well. I always liked the mesh and the Velcro closure. I recently found they still have this style, so I bought the tan suede with mesh pair and the black suede with mesh pair. Love them! They could have more arch support, but that is issue solved me with an insert.

It is very difficult to find really comfortable shoes. This shoe is comfortable from the first moment. Light weight. Very good feeling to wear. The color is special, I really like it.

I would give this shoes 10 stars if possible. They are as comfortable as tennis shoes but are so much easier to put on and they look a lot better.

The fit is roomy enough in front to accommodate a bunion and some toe issues. I like the adjustable heel, as I have a narrow heel. I'm wearing Mary Jane style yoga socks and so far they're working fine. I like the lightness of the shoe, and the stability of the base. I've worn them most of the day to begin breaking them in, so far they are still comfortable. Nice to have a supportive, comfortable shoe for active days that feels stylish. I believe these will do well on European cobblestones, too.

Perfect fit and a SUPER COMFORTABLE shoe! I love that I can adjust the tightness around my heel and over the top of my foot. Feels like I’ve had these forever, because they’re completely “broken in”, but I just bought them yesterday. Amazing!

I am scheduled for a knee replacement in a few months and these are wonderful shoes for me to be wearing now. They are as comfortable as sneakers but with the Velcro straps, they are so easy to put on. I think post recovery they will be excellent, too.

This shoe fits great, and is designed well for problematic feet (flat, bunions, etc). I can walk in these shoes for hours with minimal discomfort. When necessary, it is nice being able to use orthotics.
