This is a really cute Mary Jane sneaker. The look is very striking and certainly not what you would see every day. Comfort is awesome, the Niro fits like a glove even on girls like me with the big feet (size 10). Excellent arch support, too! Mehpisto's have the best fit of any shoe.

Fabulous shoe! I love this shoe. I generally wear a black shoe, but bought the loden color, which I am finding is very versatile too.

Walked all over Europe in these!! I bought these for two trips to Europe that I took in the spring and summer. They were great on cobblestone. I didn't even break them in and had no problem thanks to the ability to adjust with the Velcro straps. I walked for miles each day in perfect comfort. They were very cute with pants and long skirts. I like the black for versatility of wear, but now I'm going to get the loden, too.

Love them and worth the price - These were expensive - but they're really cute and super comfortable. I bought big due to my pregnancy, so I can't comment on the width/size elements. These are still comfortable even after a few hours of walking. I have a high instep so the strap doesn't cover all of the velcro - the only downside

Love These! These are great. I get tons of compliments and they are super comfy - a perfect Fall shoe. I had to order a 9 as the 8.5 was not available but they fit just fine. I looked at plenty of similar less expensive styles, but they just weren't as nice as these...

I like it! I felt the shoe met and exceeded my expectations. It is wide enough to let your toes do a natural spread with out being to wide. No gaping and the adjustability at the heel and top straps make it fit perfectly. The reason for a four star on comfort is only because it's a little stiffer shoe than I like, but not enough to disuade me from getting the loden color pair soon. I walked all over Alaska with no break in period. I think socks are a must and add to the comfort.

Great Arch Support - Perfect sneaker for me. I tend to pronate and the arches in this sneaker provide full support.

These shoes rock! I did some research from your site and bought these shoes for my first trip to Europe. Although I don't leave for another two months, I wanted to get them early to "break them in." Well, these shoes are sooo comfortable and great, they felt wonderful immediately and still do. My daughter, the commander of the fashion police, loved them! She said they would look cute with long skirts as well. Never did I think I could find a "cute shoe" that is so comfortable. Definitely worth the pricetag. I normally wear an 8 narrow, and the 7.5M fit perfectly. The adjustable strap across the top and across the heel make them work even for narrow feet. Buy them, you'll be glad you did.

Cute and Comfy - Everyone, from my co-workers to family members to my physical therapist (who suggested I buy a good walking shoe with support), LOVES the look of this Mary Jane walking shoe. Granted, it is adorable, but the fit of it really impressed me. It has plenty of support and cushion--something I wasn't sure I could find in a "non-sneaker." One of my favorite things, though, is the ability to adjust the fit with 2 velcro straps: one over the top and one around the back of the heel. Something like this is invaluable for women with narrow feet like myself who have few brand/style options in our width. I was very pleased with the Allrounder. I'm going to get a lot of good wear and use out of it. It was one of the best shoe purchases I've made.

I have skinny feet and these felt good size wise but they hit the big toe on my right foot, and were uncomfortable. I really wish I could have kept these shoes. There is a strap on the back and the velcro cross strap which made adjusting simple. Sigh.

Size is correct. But after 1 month of wearing these shoes they become destroyed so fast.

I had high hopes for these shoes, and I'm so sad that these didn't fit. My skinny feet are always a problem -- even with plenty of strap to tighten they are just too wide. I tried with and without socks, with and without my orthotics, but no luck. So, back they go.

Pirite tan open-mesh version of Niro style was a disappointment. It seemed to fit. Had hopes it would be good option in warmer weather; Mary Jane with rugged sole that's ventilated. But discovered when walking, the open mesh on the inside of the foot rubs and irritates arch and side of foot.

How I wanted to love these shoes, but there was little arch support and without socks, the shoe fit soupy. With socks it was much better but the look was odd with the top being open. Regrettably they must go back.

A bit too casual. The overall quality of this brand went down over a couple years. Additionally, the wrong color has been shipped to me :-(

Shoes felt uncomfortable around the ball of my foot and toe area. After a while my were achey - I think do to lack of arch support. Too expensive to keep just for style.

These fit pretty much true to size. As far as what I think about the material they are made, that is somewhat sketchy because there isn't much to this shoe in between the chunky, strange cut soles and the layers of overdone velcro on top. The thin mesh in between seems to be very overpowered and imbalanced in design, in my opinion. When you walk in them, they sound like loud, clunky pounds of rubber as they hit the floor. They ARE comfortable, as most Mephisto shoes are, but these were an overall disappointment and had to go back.

I really like the comfort of these shoes. They run a bit wide, which works for me because my feet are a bit wide and I order a Wide width when available. The one problem is the color is not as shown I ordered the Dark Winter Red Suede/Hydro Soft. The color is more burgundy, rather than the burnished red shown. Look carefully at the color and style shown on the site. It appears that Mephisto has updated the style. It is now the Niro Allrounder. The pictures that are updated show a little Allrounder tag on the side of the shoe. The colors are not true either. This is my seconded order. On March 3, 2019 I ordered the Niro Ocean/Fume, which as pictured was a reddish color, when it showed up two days later it was the new Allrounder style in a Navy. The box was marked Ocean/Fume. I returned them back because I didn't want navy and order the Dark Winter Red Suede/Hydro Soft. That is the new style also. The color is more burgundy than in the picture and also is the newer Allrounder style. The color actually matches what is pictured in the Fume Suede/Ocean Hydro. Bottom line: buy these for comfort, but order a few colors, because the site has them all mixed up.

Love the shoes, but the color was all wrong. I ordered Fume Suede/Ocean Hydro Soft, which appears as a burgundy color in the photos. When it arrived the color was dark blue/navy. I'm returning them and ordering Dark Winter Red Suede/Hydro Soft, which appears a bit burnt red in the photos. Wonder what color it will actually be. Hope I like it because I desperately need a replacement for my Merrell Breeze that used to be a Mary Jane style, which company is no longer making.

I bought Rust Suede/W Mesh. There is no mesh. This particular one (color/type) has a less rounded toe area and seems a bit less deep and not as wide across the ball of my foot as previous Niro I have purchased. Unfortunately, I wore them a few times, hoping for some give but they hurt my toes and outside edge of my foot because the sole of the shoe is not wide enough and my foot hangs over that outside edge. These shoes are well made and last a long time. I will return to the previous Niro I bought a few years ago.

The fit was great, the design was not. The design of the shoe made it rub against my ankle bone. Super uncomfortable. Someone else might not be bothered by that, but for me it was very irritating. All I could feel was that rubbing.

These shoes couldn't be much cuter and I wish that I could've kept them but I need a thicker sole than these offer. I'd love to wear them instead of a clunkier walking shoe, especially on vaca which is what I bought them for, but I need more material between my bad feet and the pavement. The soles are likely substantial enough for someone with normal-ish feet and the shoe seems to be a good value.

I ordered the Allrounder by Mephisto in preparation for a vacation where I will do a lot of walking. I have arthritis in my left foot and can't stand to have anything tight across the top of my foot. Even sneakers can become painful. I had been thinking that a Mary Jane style might be more comfortable than lace ups and when I saw this style, with the adjustable back strap (I have a somewhat narrow heel and wide toes), I decided to try it. The shoes arrived earlier today. I wore them around the house for about three hours testing the arch support. I finally had to take the orthotic out of the shoe and replace it with a better orthotic from my sneakers. It made a world of difference. I was surprised that a shoe at this price level would have such a flimsy orthotic. That is my only complaint of the shoe. It is very comfortable. I ordered a medium width but it feels very wide, which my toes appreciate. Five hours later and no foot pain.

It is a comfortable good looking pair of shoes, no breaking in necessary. I got the denim colored pair. I took one star off as it does not have much arch support. I fixed it by adding orthotics.
