Lots of foot issues here including plantar fascia. Excellent support. Watch the back adjustable straps if you have a narrow heel and keep them snug or you may get a horrid blister like I did. This is the second pair for me and I feel they are worth the freight.

These Mephisto Allrounder's are the most marvelous walking shoe I have ever owned. This is now my 7th pair, in a variety of colors! We do a great deal of walking, and no other shoe can compare in comfort.

I have a narrow foot though I usually wear a B width and these were both too wide and too long.

Zappos and Mephisto Allrounder...It doesn't get any better! I've been wearing Mephisto sandals for years but found their closed-toed shoes to be too narrow. The Niro is the most comfortable shoe I've found next to my New Balance sneakers, and my custom orthotics fit perfectly inside. Plus, I can't believe they also stylish. What a find! The width is a half size larger than marked which is perfect for my wide feet. I love the shoe and have it in four colors. I must mention the exceptional service I continue to receive from Zappos. No other online store can compare! Zappos.com is outstanding!

Fabulous! The Mephisto is the most comfortable walking shoe I've had. My feet hurt all the time and it is hard to buy comfortable shoes. I'm a teacher and stand on my feet a lot. When I found the all rounder I was so surprised. My feet never hurt when I wear them. I wish it came in more colors. I'd like a navy, brown or tan. I have the gray and am going to get a black next. The orange and green don't go with my wardrobe. I also wish it came in leather instead of nubuck. I got a size larger than I wear because I need the toe room so my toes won't hurt.

Great. Love the sneaker. These are my first pair. Not sure if the price justified or not.

Just bought another pair of these Allrounder by Mephisto, this is the third pair I've purchased. I just love these shoes, they are really comfortable and last a long time. I have walked all over Disneyland in these shoes from early morning till midnight. They are very comfortable!

Was at the foot doctor's office and found a pair on display. Looked for navy shoes that are comfortable to wear with jeans. Not too many out there. The cost was pretty hefty but found at Zappos cheaper. Love them!

They fit me perfectly and are so comfortable, BUT for one thing (so sad), the back of the heel is high, and pushes into the back of my ankle and I just can't deal with the poking that I feel back there. I so much want to be able to keep these, because otherwise they are just super. I normally wear an 8.5 or 9, and these felt great in terms of sizing.

This is a great shoe. I recently had surgery on my foot, and all I can wear right now is an athletic type shoe. These are comfortable and a great change from lace-up shoes. I love Zappos! They have a great selection of shoes. That is all I have ever purchased, but I have have browsed through some of the other departments and liked what I saw. Zappos' customer service is unsurpassed! Their agents are well informed, professional, polite and very helpful. The return policy is generous and very easy to utilize. All in all, Zappos gets an A+ from me!

I love these shoes! I have them in black patent/white trim, and dark brown patent/brown tela. I wish I was able to get them in all colors. They are very comfortable, and nice looking.

Love these shoes! So comfortable, great shoes for on the go and for people who have painful feet. I have received many compliments on these shoes.

This is the fourth pair of these shoes that I have bought because they are the best! Not only are they unbelievably comfortable but people stop me on the street to say how cute they are and ask about them. I have only one complaint - the strap over the ankle is held on by an O-ring. After a season of tightening this strap, the O-ring tends to loosen and it becomes harder and harder to get a tight grip at the ankle. This design flaw should be looked at by the makers at Mephisto. However, I would still recommend this shoe very strongly.

I wear orthotics and I wanted a light, summer shoe that would take them. And, I wanted something "airier" than a sneaker, but still good, supportive, and tough. This shoe fit the bill. I wear them without socks and have had no issues, though I've only worn them a few times. Sizing was a bit hard for me to figure out. I usually wear a 7, but the 6.5 worked better for me in this style.

Absolutely love these shoes. I usually have a lengthy break-in period for shoes but these felt like I've worn them for years the first day I had them on. These are better than true to size as you can adjust the velcro straps, front and back, to customize the fit. Entirely satisfied with this purchase.

This is my second pair of this sneaker. Besides being extremely comfortable, it looks much more stylish with jeans than typical lace-ups. The fit is great. Above all, though, the most outstanding feature is that these shoes easily accommodate my custom orthotics. I can slip them under the removable insole and then the Niro feels especially fantastic. I also like that there's a bit of height in the heel to make me feel a little taller.

What a marvelous casual shoe! Cool and suited to so many occasions. I am thrilled with this shoe because my orthotics slip in and out as needed. Thanks to Zappos for their outstanding, speedy assistance in my purchase.

Love, love, love this shoe! Perhaps the most expensive shoe I own, but worth every penny. I can't rave enough about it. The innersole is easily removable, and my custom orthotics fit nicely. I've been suffering from plantar fasciitis, and after wearing these shoes most of the time for about a week, my feet feel better than they have in over a year! They look great too...with everything from shorts to pants, capris, and skirts.

Dissapointed - I received this shoe as a Christmas gift from my sister. After wearing the shoe one day, the red suede is fading onto the white part of the shoe. I have e-mailed Mephisto, to see if this is a defective shoe or if there is a product to prevent this fading. I am waiting on their reply before I make my decision to return the shoe.

These shoes fit perfectly right out of the box! As usual! Dependable, comfortable, well made, pretty and mine! I’ve worn this style Allrounders for more than 20 yrs. I have arthritis and my feet don’t hurt when I’m wearing them. Plus I can keep my footing when walking my dog. Plenty of room for my toes and ball of my foot. They are adjustable across the top of my high instep and my narrow heel. They don’t have very much of an arch and I love that. A medium to high arch support hurts my feet. I Love Them! I can replace the insole too. There are materials for any season. They’re nice looking and don’t look orthopedic. The ones I got today are beige suede with panels that breathe for summer. They’re fine to wear without socks too. Rain doesn’t hurt them and I wear my non-summer ones in the snow and cold. I have a few pairs stockpiled in my closet just in case.

This is my third pair. These are the best. My feet are narrow with a high arch and high instep. Often, shoes feel tight across the top of my instep even if the shoes are otherwise too big. Mephisto Allrounder shoes are open across the part of my instep that becomes uncomfortable in some other shoes. These are my all-purpose go-to shoes!

This is my second pair of these in ten years and I absolutely love not only the fit, but being able to adjust them with the velcro. After walking miles in them in Europe on various types of terrain, I never worried about slipping or having any issues. The stability and traction as well as breathability I am one happy customer with these shoes.

Wear a 9. Ordered the 40 which is a 9 1/2 thinking I'd need the space for a sock, but it was way too baggy and long. Ordered the 39 which is perfect and doesn't crowd my toes at all at the end. Very comfortable. Like the removable insole and may add a tiny bit more arch support. Kept the navy even though it's a little baggy at the sides between your two feet (to the side of the arch). Would have kept the black as well except for the baggy area plus the navy were pretty hot on a 70 degree day. Will have to wear a sock for some ventilation. Great for winter; not so great for summer without socks. Intended to use this for walking but may need to rethink that and use something with a little more support. Good for walks around town, shopping, etc but not for 2-3 mile walks.

Stylish with a gym shoe feel. Everyone at Zappos was amazing, making sure I had the right color and fit. Yes, I did some returning. Smooth sailing all the way. C' tait une tres bonne experience!
