GREAT SHOES! These were a Christmas gift for my son and he was so surprised! He didn't even know these were still available. Very cool shoes to say the least. This was also the first time we used Zappos. WOW nothing beats their customer service and unbelieveable selection (and what I wanted was in stock and shipped lightening fast!) Many thanks! Great Shoes for spring and summer time - These shoes provide great comfort and stability. They are very light-weight shoes, and allow you to move around easily without stiffness.

A cool everyday shoe - My son has somewhat narrow feet, so these suited him perfectly. They run a bit smaller than the size and a bit narrower. Both my sons love their Vans!

Vans Old Skools - I've bought 6 pairs of the same shoes in only two different colors.I skate and they kick. The only down fall is that if you skate alot of sets I wouldn't recommend them because you'll wake up with some bad bruised heels. But I love the look, feel, and grip on these shoes. I will never go to another company other than Vans. I've had 13 pairs of Vans, and I'm only 15 now, but yeh I recommend these shoes for any skater, off-season snowboarder, but no rollerbladers...yeh surfers too...

Clean classic looking rock n roll sneaker - This shoe rocks! They look great, especially once you break em in. I've been wearing them nonstop for 3 years now but I remember when you could get them all sorts of colors. I like them better than Chucks myself. They can be kinda uncomfortable at first but just get some gel insoles and your set. The original skate shoe. The sole on these can't be beat for grip if you skate. You can rock them with anything, just don't put fat laces in them, I hate when people do that.

Good deal... I hadn't purchased this brand of Vans for years, make sure to order your size a 1/2 size larger then your usual size. Zappos delivered QUICKLY, best shoe site on the Net.

Great shoe, a classic, looks good with anything!

Like finding an old friend... I used to wear these back in the 80s... noticed that many of the shoes that I grew up wearing were back in style, so I rushed out to get me some "old skools". They haven't changed one bit... still the same comfortable shoe they made 20 years ago. Now that I've found Zappos, I don't think that I'll ever be without a pair. I feel like I've found an old friend.

Old Skools rock! Been through many pairs of these since the mid 80's and one things hasn't changed.. Vans comfort.

Always been a great shoe - Vans are great and will hopefully be around forever, they last!!! Been wearin them since the early to mid 80s.

My daughter normally wears a 9.5, had to send those back and get the 9. The unisex sizing may have been a factor. Very cute in person.

I've worn Vans Old Skools for a long time and decided to mix it up a little bit and get the Black Canvas Old Skool. When I bought them I thought they would be a Canvas version of the Suede shoe, but they fit more like the Vans Eras. This shoe is a hybrid of the Era and Old Skool. They look pretty sweet, but next time I'll be gettin' a pair of Suede ones.

The shoes are very yummy. They are exactly as I expected them to be. The breaking out of the shoe is taking longer than I expected. Its still scraping my ankle raw until I can wear it out a little.

I really want to like these Vans. The style is awesome. The sole is grippy, flexible, and not too thin. The construction seems good. My son loves his. But the design of the inside front tongue stitching just rubs me the wrong way. With or without thick or thin socks, there is stitching and fabric that creates a lot of pressure on the top of your foot. It feels like someone is jamming a lego into your foot. I also tried and gave back a pair of Sk8 low reissue SF and Authentic SF for exactly the same reason. Bummer. If you don't have much feeling in your foot and are still going to go for these, here's a tip about sizing. I'm usually an 11 (a bit on the wider side but not wide) and sometimes wear a 10.5 dress shoe. Get these in an 11. The 10.5 is too tight. They look great. If you never have problems with shoes rubbing here or there on your feet, go for it. The rest of us have to hope that Vans puts some more thought into how they do their inside stitching.

I don't recommend these shoes to be bought on the internet. They should be tried on before you buy them. They cut up my heels in 10 minutes of walking in them enough to make them bleed. I have never had a pair of shoes do this to my feet.

They fit absolutely perfect and I have a very narrow foot!

too short too narrow, so sad. i do have a hard time finding shoes for my size 12 wide feets :(
