Great style of Vans for more support and comfort - If you like Vans, but need something with a little more support and comfort, then this is the style for you. The other more classic tie up Vans are nice, but don't go high enough like these on the top of the foot.

The other Vans Classic - Besides the Slip-On this is the other classic Vans shoe. They take a little bit to break-in, but this has been my favorite skate shoe for years with the simple, understated Vans style.

Can't beat a classic - I was looking to replace a different set of Vans (eventually wore them out) when I came across this blast-from-the-past. They are great shoes from a tactile point-of-view, as you are not so cushioned as to not feel any of the ground you walk on. There is no significant arch support, so take note. These are "old school" shoes, and need to be "broken in" a bit to become supple, but once they do, they are like gum-soled slippers!

Gotta love the Old Skool!!! I bought three pairs of shoes and this is the first pair I've worn non-stop. I just love them!

I bought these shoes for my son. He is very picky. He has wide feet, and these shoes are great. He loves them. He’s 14 and hates everything but these shoes. Will buy these again.

Vans shoes - The shoes are a Christmas present for my son; he puts the vans on his list every year. He is 34 years old. He must like them a lot, they are the only shoes he ever ask for.

Fun and comfy, takes some breaking in - I love fun shoes. I get so many compliments when I wear these. They are great. They are leather and somewhat stiff at first, so I did have to break them in, but now they are really comfortable.

Quality Purchase - I ordered these shoes on a Saturday and I got them on a Monday, which was really awesome. The shoes are a little stiff, but I feel like once I break them in they will be really comfortable. They look exactly like the picture, the colors aren't different or anything. I like and would recommend them.

The usual - These are the only shoes I will wear. I've been wearing them for 7 years now. Same pair, same color, over and over again. Excellent.

Vans Old Skool - This shoe is a great way to express yourself and let out your wild side with the wild hot pink sole. Its really ideal for women unless your a guy who doesn't care about mismatching clothing which tends to be an in thing with skaters these days. Great shoe to buy however comfort is always an issue with old skool shoes from Vans.

Comfortable classic! My son always wears Vans. It's hard to fit him since he wears a size 14, but we know that these will fit every time. He's in college and has to look cool, so there you have it.

Great shoe, greater store - Previously wore Chuck Taylors despite their short lifespan but their quality has diminished even more since they're made in China. Needed to take a half size up from Chuck's to Old Skool (tho this is because Converse shoes run big). Zappos absorbed all the shipping costs for exchanging sizes, aprox. 2-day shipping via UPS(so you better be home or have it delivered to your job), and did a price-matching with another online store. Fast emails and great on the phone. They really do live up to all the positive reviews here.

HOT - These are classic hot shoes, comfy but not for standing up all day on your feet. They don't have a lot of support...but you sure do look cute wearing them.

Old School they are- They look and feel like an original 1970's Vans. Recieved them in 1 business day, and they are great.

Old school??? Great shoes. Old Skool??? I guess I'm old skool, I have been wearing these shoes since I use to skate in the 80's & 90's, they are great. Tip: I cut a small slit in the tongue and feed the lace through to stop it sliding down the side.

Excellent service - My 17 year old son looked everywhere for shoes that he liked. He knows exactly what he wants and we can't always find it in the stores. He went on the internet and found Zappos. We were very pleased with the service and the quality of the shoes he received.

I had been wearing chucks forever until one day at the vans warped tour I ended up losing one shoe in the crowd. I decided to spend my last 25-dollars on a pair of old school Vans. They were well made and two hours of running around later my feet were still comfy and well protected. They look great and feel great but after all this time my feet are still more comfortable in Chucks. The major upside is that compared to Chucks, your feet don't squeak like mice when you walk. The downside is that if you walk in any sort of dirt or mud the waffle sole will pick all of it up. Otherwise they're a wonderful shoe and really last for a long time.

Old skool vans rock - I've been wearing these things since I was a kid and they never get old. They're great!

Old School Vans - Zappos.com made finding shoes easy. Living overseas in foreign country makes it hard to find the right size or type I would like to wear. The easiness in ordering and receiving this product from overseas was very fluid and simple. Just like the shoe, simple and not much to them. This is a perfect shoe to lounge and relax in or just hang out and is perfect for any event and durable to the last minute. Its look is classic and is untouched for over 20 years; still looking in its prime. I recommend the shoe and all it offers.
