Great Walking shoe - I have found this shoe to be very comfortable ample toebox and great support.

Orthopedist recommended - My son is flat-footed and is now wearing corrective inserts. I purchased these shoes for him at the request of his orthopedic doctor who prescribed the inserts. The structure is firm and offers great support. They have ample width and toe room. We purchased the white leather version. The leather is thick and stitching well done. The shoe is a bit clunky looking, but I think it may just be the nature of walking shoes. My son is 14 and has no problem with them.

MW925 - First shoe to give me the comfort and balance I need!

Hard to find sizes but this is the ticket. Used my own brand of shoe insert.

Great All Day Walker - I just purchased these shoes for work. I am a delivery person, and need comfortable professional looking shoes. These do it. I wouldn't wear them out, but I brag about them at work. They are truly comfortable.

Walking comfort - Big wide feet, bunions, poor joints, but the New Balances were fine for wandering around New Zealand shortly after getting them.

Trying to find a fit for a W I D E foot- My husband has very wide feet and it has always been impossible to find shoes for him. He has always purchased New Balance because they offer WIDE, but after finding you, we purchased a pair of 6E and they fit much better. I looked to see if they offered them wider and they don’t.

Comfort - Yes, Look - ???????? These shoes are VERY comfortable, but to look at them, (especially in white), makes you have second thoughts about owning a pair - I don't know, maybe it's because I wear a 13- 2E?

N.B. MW925(leather )walking shoe - These shoes were as comfortable as bed slippers. They also give excellent support.

Shoe seems to be true to size and width. Could use a little more arch support. All in all a good shoe though.

Recommended by my Physical Therapist - I bought this specific model of New Balance shoes because I have an Arthritic left foot. I saw a specialist in Orthotics to get arch supports made to help alleviate the problem and he recommended these shoes stating, "They were the best he had seen to provide adequate foot support." I bought a pair and was instantly impressed. I have worn them continually since I got them and have noted a significant reduction in foot pain. I have since bought a second pair in white and have had similar results with them.

Odes from Depew, New York- First & foremost I would like to compliment you on your speedy and courteous service. I recently ordered the MW925 and found the shoe was too narrow for me. I then contacted one of your representatives and re-ordered a wider width that fit much better. This took a total of eight days considering I waited three days before re-ordering the second pair of shoes. As far as the shoes go I haven't had time to break them in but they feel and look great at this point. Kudos to your company service & staff.

MW 925, excellent shoe! Great shoe - I have been wearing New Balance for several years and will continue to do so; they have always been true to size and comfortable. I am very pleased w/ the MW 925, they do take a few days of break in as they are a bit stiff out of the box, but currently the best and most comfortable shoe I wear. I highly recommend them as a walking shoe, or if you can an everyday work shoe!

A good all-around walking shoe - I purchased this shoe because I trust the New Balance name for quality and because I wanted a good, all-around walking shoe with good heal and ankle support. The shoe has not disappointed me as I have worn it on a European vacation where I did a lot of walking. This is a very good shoe. One minor negative is that the sole provides only moderate traction on ice, but this might be asking for too much from an all-weather walker. I recommend this shoe, and I might even order another pair now to save for when this pair wears out.

NB925 Review - A great show for the price. I just broke 6 bones in my foot and began walking again. This shoe has great support and I am very happy with it. It was recommended by my doctor and I would recommend it as well.

Great Shoe! Shoe fits wonderfully (after consultation with folks at Zappos about the best fit- half size larger). The shoe although somewhat heavier than my regular NB 857s and not the most attractive shoe wear, is extremely comfortable to wear. Prompt delivery. Will buy at Zappos again!

I have these shoes in white and, like them, these black ones are very comfortable.

I love these shoes - This shoe looks good enough to wear to work, is extremely sturdy and comfortable. I have two pair now, and would buy more if they came in more colors (black suede please!). My first pair is over a year old and has worn extremely well.

My husband's favorite shoes. I purchased these shoes per request of my husband. He has had the same style of New Balance shoes going on the 4 pair. He choses not to change styles since this shoe gives him everything he wants in a walking shoe, comfort, support, cushioning where it counts and looks good. And of course, delivery within a few days. Zappos our favorite shoe source.

Comfortable Walking Shoe- I have found this shoe to be more comfortable than the "running" shoe in the NB Line, specifically the 1005 and the 1120(?). Of course I note that I don't run, but walk only.

At 64 years old, Best walker I have ever worn! I have used New Balance for years due to their "Made in USA" statement, plus their fine quality. I have a failed back and severe foot neuropathy. If I could get another BROWN pair, I'd buy it today! Most comfortable, foot-friendly, supportive shoe I have ever owned!

White leather sneakers - Good for wide feet.

Went with NB 587 instead - Fantastic support and cushioning. I also felt the shoe did a good job of correcting my gait and footstrike. If you have never worn corrective or proper footwear, please give the shoe time to adjust. I bought this shoe and the NB 587 thinking it was too narrow, I thought I should be a 4E. However, 4E was far too big. After a few wearings, and once my feet had time to adjust - fits like a glove. "Nota bene" - I have flat, somewhat wide, low volume foot. I am 5'9 165 lbs. I am sure not everyone will agree with me. The only reason I went with the 587 was that it was far cooler. In wearing the 925s, I felt the shoe was a little bit hot to wear. I have tried on brooks turin, brooks synergy, brooks addiction walker - the synergy and this were the most comfortable for me. Ultimately went with this b/c I liked the more narrow ankle and better support. My history with Brooks and NB is that brooks is better if you don't need orthotics as the shoes have ample cushioning. Plus they have a low heel. I wish brooks would use nicer leather though. Their shoes look so cheap. NB just needed to design these to more formal for office wear. I was told from New Balance these will be discontinued in March 2006.
