I ordered the boots in dark brown and they are not dark or brown. I think Camel with some brown marks would be more appropriate. Also, I found them really hard to get on.

Had a pair of Fryes many moons ago that lasted for a decade. These are the same quality construction. After reading reviews I went up half a size. Left boot calf is wider and boot will fit with thick sock, right boot calf tight and feels smaller (yes, I checked to see they were the same size). Will keep them as I know it will stretch over time, and not sure what fit will be on a smaller size.

I love Frye. I have had the engineer boots for awhile and worn them all year round, in both the summer and the winter. I wanted to purchase another classic pair of boots which looked entirely different but served the same purpose. I choose correctly. These are gorgeous. Not too tall or too clunky. I picked the sunrise grain finish and am extremely happy I did so, it is much brighter and stunning in person. (I've seen the banana color and it's not so great.)

Couldn't wait to buy these boots and Zappos was the only and best place to purchase them. I bought a size 6.5 because I'm between a 7 and 6 in most shoes. The 6.5 was perfect with enough room to wear thick socks. These boots look great with everything! I get compliments on them wherever I go. They are worth the investment.

A classic, no one should be without a pair of Campus boots! The Campus boot was the first pair of Frye boots I purchased; I now own 7 pair! I have the Campus in black and brown, and consider them a staple in my collection. I live in Wisconsin, which means the weather permits me to wear these boots 3 seasons a year - and I take full advantage. I've now owned my Campus boots for four years, and you'd never guess. I will easily get another 4+ years out of them. I'm on the fence about whether these boots run big. I normally wear an 8.5, and I had to go to an 8 in my brown pair, but definitely needed the 8.5 in my black pair.

Love these boots. Very uncomfortable to break in but once they are broken in they are comfortable. Also I had to order a size up because I couldn't get my foot in, but once they were on the actual foot bed was too big. I kept them anyways because now I can wear thick socks with them and they still fit. Overall I love them. Very cute and versatile.

This is my first pair of Frye boots and I am in love! I purchased these boots in saddle and the color is perfect. Don't order a half size down, I made that mistake and ended up returning for my true size! Buy these boots, you won't regret it!

Love these boots!! For boots they are very comfortable. I really like the Banana color and wasn't sure I would. They look great with denim or corduroy skirts! I ordered an 8 because the website recommended going down a size and I normally wear 8 1/2. I ended up buying the 8 1/2 and I wear thick socks with them.

Great Boot - As always, Zappos has the quickest free shipping ever. Boots are great, thought they might be a litle big as my heel slides a little, but my toes almost touch the front of the boot. Basically this is just the fit. Great all weather boot and recommend!

Excellent Boot! These were a gift for my wife's 30th birthday. She had wanted a pair of Frye boots for about two years and actually screamed when she opened this gift. She loves these boots and takes every chance she gets to wear them. Just be sure to order the boots about a half size smaller than what you normally wear, as most boots are sized differently than shoes.

Greatest boots ever - I had a pair of these boots 20 years ago and have been looking for another pair ever since. Finally I found them, they are everything I anticipated great fit, smart looks and comfortable. I wore out the first pair I had and will these too. Hope they will always be available. Eternally Cool Retro Style...Buy Some!! I just LOVE these boots, they look awesome worn with anything and everything, from mini skirts to jeans. They get better with age and I'm about to get my second pair just because they look so great! SJP can't be wrong!!

Great customer service! This is a great boot. But more importantly, Zappos is an awesome site. Their customer service is wonderful and prompt. I ordered my boots on a Thursday and got them the next day for no additional charge. The boots were actually a little big, so I had to return them, but even the return/exchange process was absolutely painless. They make it really easy and hassle-free! I will definitely keep shopping with Zappos.com and tell my friends.

The 4-Star Boot - I bought this boot in "bananna" years ago, it is still extraordinarily comfy(after broken in).It fit well, but even better when worn and contoured to my high instep and arch. My old boots just show wear,mainly due to the light color. I am currently attempting to locate them in the same color - but they're not in stock in my size 6 1/2B. That's how well I liked the boot.

Great Boots! Buy a 1/2 size smaller... These boots are so comfy - they felt so worn in the first time I put them on. They are truly comfortable. And SO cute too. Great with jeans tucked in or rolled up, great with skirts for that boho look. Just great all around. Really recommend these boots.

Power boots - I've had these in black for years. Just recently I ordered them in banana. They are THE perfect boot with jeans. They aren't yellow, they are a neutral. Absolutely. If you are familiar with boots, any brand,quality boots are sized a half size larger than regular shoes. I wear a 9.5 and a size 9 in these fit perfectly. These are power boots. Rough, tough and extremely cool. I adore mine and wear them everyday.

My girlfriend loves them - I bought these for my girlfriend as a Christmas gift. We bought them from Zappos because of the excellent customer service and they were less expensive. I recommend Zappos for all shoe buying needs.

I LOVE THESE BOOTS!! I originally purchased these in Black in my regular size 9 1/2. They were slightly large, but I put some Birkenstock insoles (ah!!) in them and they were fine. I then purchased the Banana (my true loves!) in a size 9. They fit me perfectly. My feet are so used to Birkenstocks, that they're taking me a little longer than usual to break in, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots!!! I wish I could afford a pair in every color!

Frye's Campus 14L W - The boot looks great and is true to size. It's not a dress boot so it should be no surprise than it's on the heavy side. Zappo's shipping policy is incredible. I placed my order around 10:00 a.m. one morning and the boots were delivered the next day late in the afternoon.

Campus boots in banana - Love these banana-colored boots, which will go with anything! The detail and amount of stitching required to make a pair of Fryes is amazing -- you certainly get what you pay for. Don't be afraid of the price of the boots, though, because these shoes will be with you for years (or so I've heard) -- unlike the expensive sandals that I bought this summer, which may not see another season because they were so poorly made. And girls with larger calves, don't fret! I found them to be a little snug in the shaft, so I took them to my shoe cobbler and had them let the leather out a bit. They had no problem doing it. Be sure to order a 1/2 size down, though, because these babies do run large.

This boot is gorgeous!! Out of all the 5-star reviews mine is the only negative one. The tops of the boots cut into the top of my feet. It's probably not the boot, I've had surgeries on both feet so I'm sure it's me. I'm so sad to have to return them, but since they're so pricey, I don't want to take the chance of trying to stretch them and end up with a $500 pair of boots that I can't wear.
