I got my first pair of Frye boots back in 1975 while I was still in collegetrue campus boots. I wore the heck out of them until bell bottoms/flare leg pants went out of style. I still have those boots even though they are now too small for me. Otherwise I would still be wearing them. I plan on passing those down to my daughter or granddaughter. The new ones are great, and I look forward to buying some more boot cut jeans to wear them with.

I love my Campus 14Ls, and have been waiting for a dark brown. When they became available, I purchased them despite being final sale because I love my current pair so much. I ordered the same size, and unfortunately the new pair is about two sizes larger than I expected (both labeled as 8.5). Even with multiple socks, I still clomp around in them. So disappointed as I have been waiting for this color to be available. Really unfortunate that I was so confident to buy these as final sale. Never again; will always ensure I can try and return.

Absolutely love the quality and color of these boots. Have been wanting a pair forever and very happy I finally purchased. I haven't been able to wear them as much as I'd like yet because I need to stretch the shaft opening before they'll be really comfortable. I didn't think I had large calves but the boot is the tiniest too tight.

Campus 14L is a classic, the boot was true to color and original craftsmanship. It kept the smooth leather sole but could be improved with a rubber grip sole like the Jasper Lux inside zip boots.

The boots I received look nothing like the picture. The leather is blotchy and the heel is clearly made of plastic. Overall they looked really cheap. Very disappointed

Cost is a bit high but overall nice boots, comfortable, fashionable.

I thought the shaft of the boot would be a little shorter but it hits at a weird place at my knee. I wish that Frye would make this boot with a shaft that's a few inches shorter for those of us in the 5' 2" range. They also run a little big. I'm a pretty solid 7.5 and sometimes an 8 in sneakers but the 7.5 was pretty big on me. Sadly, I am returning these.

I've worn several pair of these boots beginning in the late 1970's. My normal size is 7 Wide. Frye only offered normal (medium) widths and I couldn't squeeze my feet into a size 7. For this reason, I have purchased a half size up. Size 7 1/2 fits, when new, and is adequately tight in the heel to fit securely, but very slightly loose in the arch and forefoot. Over time (years), as the boots stretch, they became overly loose for me. I've recently purchased a new pair in 7 1/2. The construction is beautiful. The shaft is long , rising well up my calf. The stacked heel provides a sure, solid stride. Fit is the same as always --- tight in the heel and a little loose forward. I wish Frye would offer wide sizes.

Ive always loved the campus boot but the leather used nowadays is not near the quality of the black label boots or even the pair I bought 10 years ago with the white label. I kept them because I really wanted the black but I wish Frye would use U.S.A. leather too.

I bought the Mens Campus Boot 14L in the color Saddle and they are a totally different color in person than what the website shows, even down to the stitching. Not happy, plus the leather quality doesnt seem to be as good as my other Frye boots. Wouldnt recommend.

I have other Frye boots but I have never loved them as I did the Campus boots in the banana color I bought 42 years ago. My then 12 year old son begged me for them. He was a fashion icon in northern Nevada, 7th grade. I recently made the commitment to reclaim my possession of banana Campus boots. The style is timeless, the quality is excellent. The color is so unique for great boots. Next purchase will be the yellow Melinda satchel. Thank you, Frye.

American made and leather lined all the way to your toes. Had a similar boot 45 years ago in high school. Glad to have them back.

I've been wishing for a pair of these for years, only to finally take the plunge and have them not fit :( just a word of caution to check the measurements! It is my own mistake, but the company doesn't make a wide calf model. So devastated but hoping they add more sizing one day.

Just splurged and bought a bday gift to myself. The banana Campus 14L. I am so in love.... the fit is so good. The calf width is the BEST part. Nice and fitted! (normally I look like kermit the frog in tall boots). I bought size 8, and normally wear a 7.5 or 8. I know these will be with me a LOOOOOOONG time!!!!

Need to bring back all the colors again!! Best fitting boots around!!

My favorite decade is the 70s as I was born in 1969 so this style of boots takes me back to those years and to my memories of the very cool women wearing them especially the Coolest of them All My Mommy. Never disappoints! Classic Americana style and USA craftsmanship! I waited for more than a year for Banana color to come back in stock and well worth the wait! Now, to break this beautiful boots in and wear for a lifetime!

These boots in banana absolutely live up to the hype. I have been wearing them most days since I got them and my littlest toes are a bit sore, not exactly blisters, probably just part of the break-in process. I am usually 7.5 sometimes 8 and 7.5 fit perfectly with reasonable room for socks.
