I own half a dozen pair of Frye boots and have had my eye on these beautys for a year now. My boyfriend bought them for me for Christmas & unfortunately I had to return them due to poor craftsmanship (pull tabs broke immediately and the cuts for the heel & sole area were beyond chopped) and they were far too small in width and calf area. Not sure what is happening with quality of Frye but it makes me sad knowing Ill have to find another quality boot company.

The background in the website photos makes the ivory boot look more vanilla and creamy colored and more white, but it's actually darker in person and more of a beige color. These boots would look great on darker skin, but for paler skin, they just blend in and don't look flattering or stand out enough at all. The boot itself is incredibly comfortable, fits perfectly, doesn't need to be broken in, and I have sturdy calves and they still fit (not thick calves but not thin, a more ample calve would not fit in these boots just fyi). I have seen horrible reviews about Frye's customer service and returns, but since I was returning this item for the black boots which are even more expensive, my return was accepted immediately and my sales tax was refunded. So I appreciated that but also wonder if I was trying to just get my money back, would it have been that easy?

Human customer support is non existent, chat option never responded and they never responded to my email. First they charged shipping on order over $275. when its was supposed to be free shipping. Boots arrived defective, completed return, they charge me return shipping on defective boots and never responded to request for shipping refund.

Way too big and not comfortable at all. Returned for refund.

Can't wait to own these for the rest of my life. I love the construction, the fit, the height of the shaft and the heel. Overall amazing boots. However, disappointed that they keep raising the price arbitrarily. I'd be buying several more if they stopped raising the price by $50 like very 9 months.

Amazing fit and color. Better than expected

I took the advice from Frye and bought a half-size up and they were exactly a half-size to big. I have a slender foot, so along with them being too big length wise, they were also incredibly loose. However, I'm more disappointed in the customer service. I noticed on the website where they had a size 8 available in the Banana color and when I went to make the exchange, the size wasn't available as an option. I reached out to Frye for some clarity about whether the size was available or not and never heard back. I wished this would have worked out better because the boots are beautiful.

I had to go half a size down so my heel wouldn't slip. This caused the sides to be a little narrow but from what I understand with leather it will stretch to fit, just takes some suffering. The shoes are high quality and look really good with mini skirts/dresses. So expensive but worth it in my opinion, I saw some shoes for $80 and over and those look like they will last a season at most.

Nothing matters when the customer service is terrible

I am size 8 on the wider side. In these boots I am an 8 with heavy socks with reg socks I am a 7.5 Id like to add that Frye has the worst customer service. Good luck reaching them for any kind of real help. The reps have no knowledge of the shoes/boots And the company provides emails and phone numbers that do not work. Frye will prob go out of business. You can get better customer service at the dollar store!

These were the first Frye boots I ever bought over 24 years ago and I still love them. Im going to buy a new pair only because my feet and calves are bigger after 3 kids and I know a half size bigger will be perfect. I have 5 different Frye boots and would not buy another brand.

After waiting years, I received my boots in saddle yesterday. The color is more brown than appears in photos. I had hoped for the rich copper shown. but I would have been okay with the color difference. Fit was true to size in length but a bit more roomy in the instep. I could add an insole. My problem is that there is zero taper in the ankle. So my legs look like tree trunks. Not sure I can get past this. I am 53 and 115 for reference. It may just be how they hit on my shorter legs.

Love these boots!! Classic lines, quality workmanship and awesome fit! In a pointed toe boot, Im usually a 10, reading the many reviews I went with a 9.5. Plenty of room for thin orthotics and comfort from step one! Best thing about these boot = USA MADE!!

I have two pairs for over 15 years and wear them often. They will get better over time. Extremely well made and still are in great shape after so many miles.

Great boots! Superior quality. Had to get them exchanged for a half size smaller, but Frye's easy return made it a breeze. I have narrow feet, and the 9.5 size fits perfectly. Thank you

I bought these boots five years ago..All eyes on me when I wear them...Ready for a new pair..

These are great. I like the style, they are comfortable, and there are great color options. I wish they were a lined style. I think it would enhance their overall look. Also, the roughness of the unlined shaft wore my leggings in a line along the top of the boot shaft.

Love the fit and material quality

These boots are gorgeous and the shoe part is so comfortable . However, they are so tight on my calves. While i do not have skinny legs,I do not have huge legs either and i am not a big person. This is disappointing.

These were my first ever Frye boots. I have a collection of 4 now. I loved these boots. And now the bad news,, the stitching holding the sole together wears through quickly and the toe box gapes open. I was once walking in nyc when this happened abruptly and I had to turn back home to change my shoes. Ive had to get the soles repaired 3 times. Frye used to provide a resole service, this last time I contacted them about this issue I was told they outsource it and charge a high price. The problem that bothers me is that these are supposed to be built for a lifetime boot but they arent using durable enough material to last a couple years. Definitely doesnt make me a happy customer. Id love to continue wearing them but right now the soles are talking to me.

This is my 3rd pair of Frye's. I have been wanting the Campus boot for years. They are absolutely beautiful! Shipped in 2 days, so that was great. They are easy on and off, but I feel run a little big, so size down 1/2 size. A thick sock will be perfect. These are definitely forever boots since the workmanship is amazing!
