Great shoe. The wide is wide enough without feeling like a boat. I've been wearing them for about a month and they're breaking in nicely. The little piece of leather foot-bed under the heel is starting to peel away from just beneath the metatarsal area. I've had similar problems with all the Sperrys I've owned. I may try super glue to re-attach it.

This is a school shoe for my son. He has a very high instep and many loafer style shoes don't fit. Because there is the ability to adjust the instep ties, this is a good shoe for that kind of foot. Fit is true to size. The shoe wears well.

These shoes are great for summer. Go well with shorts, but also with jeans. I usually wear them sockless, but if you're going to be wearing them for a long period of time, I'd buy the special no-show socks specifically made to go with boat shoes. Sperry sells them as well. I went with my normal shoe size, and they fit fine.

These are great shoes. They were very comfortable right out of the box. No break in period needed.

Consistent in sizing over many years. You can really count on these if you've owned them in the past to be exactly the same and they do wear for years!

Great shoe. Bought this for my husband who wears size 16. Very comfy.. Goes with everything. Dark jeans will bleed onto it tho so be aware of that

It's nice to see that in our ever changing world, some things are still the same. My first Top-Siders were purchased 40 years ago, and they really "fit the bill!" The same is true with my most recent purchase. They're great!

The shoe came exactly as advertised, as many said, by a half size smaller than normal because you don't wear socks. Takes a good 4-5 days to break in but they are awesome after that. My one gripe would be with the insole inserts that come with the shoe. They only go about half the length of the shoe and there's a thin leather flap that levels out in the middle of the shoe at one end of the insole. This thin flap tends to bunch up and fold on me, especially when I put the shoe on. However once the shoe is on, its not a big issue.

These are extremely comfortable shoes. They are lightweight, with lots of cushioning and they perform well in the rain. They are easy to tighten to suit your feet and they have broken in after only a couple weeks of occasional use. I highly recommend them!

This shoes are great. I was replacing my old ones (about 20 years old). I will always recommend Sperry Top-Sider to anyone. They look great.

I have a long, narrow foot, making it nearly impossible to find a decent fit in any style I'd be willing to wear. Zappos had this style in a narrow width (I've been searching for 3 years)--every shoe store (and I went to many of them) told me the same thing, "Oh, Sperry doesn't make that in narrow." It was exactly what I wanted, for a very good price, shipped ASAP and I had them on my feet within 4 days. They fit. They are comfortable. They were exactly what I wanted. Thank you, Zappos!

I have worn the Sperry Top-Sider for years as a very conformable shoe. I regular buy new for dressier look and continue to use the old one for regular day to day wear.
