Being a New Englander, people have been wearing these shoes for decades. My parents got me a pair when I was young in the 90’s (I’m turning 30 this year) and I’ve been wearing them ever since. It was surprising to see them take off again in the late 2000’s to where they are now in popularity (they were big in the 80’s too—funny to see trends come full circle). I will always have a pair of these shoes, they are my go-to no matter the season. My one annoyance is not the shoe itself but the astronomical price hike that Sperry has put on these shoes. I usually keep mine for 4-5 years before replacing, the pair I bought 10 years ago were $65.00 and now they’re $95.00!! It’s crazy because they have made the shoes EXACTLY the same for the past 10 years if not more - popularity has destroyed the affordable nature of these shoes and I blame Sperry - a $30 price hike is ridiculous.

I hadn't had a boat shoe in a while. But I got a hankering to return to a style that's been part of my life since I was a kid fifty years ago. They're not just a pair of great-looking, supremely comfortable shoes. They're a reminder to time at the lake, sitting around the campfire, hanging out with family and friends. Thrilled to be back in them.

The Sperry boat shoe is a classic. I've been a customer for years. The comfort and durability is excellent.
The delivery from Indiana to Georgia was 8 days. Totally unacceptable! You could have shipped horseback and it would have arrived sooner.

My husband only wears one type of shoe: Sperrys. It was time to replace the dark brown ones he's been wearing holes in and we were pleasantly surprised that there is a new form of insole in this pair. Needless to say, my husband loves them, thinks they fit better than his old ones.

I've lost track of how many pairs of these shoes I've owned in my life. There are none like Sperry's boat shoes.
One question though - you make shoes in sizes 15 and 16, why don't you make sock liners in sizes above 11?

These are my second favorite shoes --surpassed only by the gold cup version. I bought both to get the right colors. I may buy a third.
I have wide feet, and the wide sizes are available in some sizes. I got a 10W and they fit great.
I wish I had found these years ago!
