So far, so good. I have rather severe neuropathy so I have to check my feet constantly with new shoes to make sure no blisters or cuts forming. I like to the shoes but do not like thick leather laces that always tend to be unruly, hard to tie and unsightly/ugly tied look. This from a year shoe salesman (1965 to 1973-Kinney's & Bakers)

Great slip on shoe. Nice leather, nice soles that don’t catch a lot of debris to track into the house. Only thing I don’t like are how long the leather laces are so I just cut them shorter. Been wearing Speery original boat shoes for years.

I've been wearing Sherry's for years. Love them. My favorite is the "Defender STS14511." It's super lightweight and incredibly comfortable. Unfortunately, I don't think Sherry makes them any longer.

So if you wear boat shoes you know they can be a labor of love. Too loose and they flop all over the place and too tight they are uncomfortable...but when you get the right fit they become an everyday show. For years I wore a competitors shoe and found that perfect fit..when it can time to replace them I struggled to find it until getting these sperry's in wide. Absolute perfect fit and break in! My new perfect boat shoe!!!

My standby, comfortable, go anywhere shoe. I live in the Palm Springs area and this is a year round shoe - mostly wear shorts all year so the shoes are perfect. We live on a lake and have a small pontoon type boat so I also really use them as boat shoes!!

My son is 12 and has autism. Things have to stay within his routine, (we just try to keep up with them ;) He has been wearing Sperry's since he was 3yrs, so 9 years of buying 2 pairs a year! We love them just as much. By the end of summer we typically have to pitch them as he loves to play in our creek and they get stinky. Highly recommended!!

This is what I was looking for. The only reason I don't give 5 stars on comfort is that I have almost the same shoe in brown in the 'Gold Cup' version from Sperry. That is a 5 star comfort shoe.
