A classic for a reason. Have gone through many pairs over the years. The border stitching quality is sometimes a bit variable - it often comes undone on me after a couple years. My husband's pairs survive anything and he wears them til the soles wear through though, so who can say.

I have had several pairs of Sperry Authentic Original boat shoes over the past several years. I won't wear anything else. (The all leather kind, not the suede and leather. I am not crazy about those.) They are comfortable and mold to your feet very nicely. No problems with quality control for me. I haven't experienced any at all. I used to wear Bass and Timberland - both good shoes too. But they change the looks too often and I prefer the Sperry classic look. The LL Bean Casco Bay shoes are good too. I have just about worn out a pair of those. Love my Sperrys though. Please don't change them.

I ordered the Original Boat shoe in Sahara Leather in the same size that I had ordered a couple years ago (in Classic Brown). There is always some apprehension when ordering over the internet as sizes can vary over time. Not in this case. Perfect fit and looks great.

Great boat shoes. This is my second pair. The leather is nice and looks like full grain; it molds to your feed in a few weeks for a perfect, roomy fit. I have wide toes, and these shoes are the most comfortable ones I have. No extra foam or padding or that crap. Just a leather upper visibly sewn onto a siped rubber sole, with a half-length footbed for the heel. The fuzzy bare leather on the ball of the foot and the upper part of the shoe will gradually smooth out with use until it feels like a slipper, and it never holds an odor (unlike any lined shoe, which eventually smells if I wear it barefoot). My one issue is that the sole squeaks. Something about the sticky rubber pulling away from the floor. I've never found a way to get it to stop. Oh well, this is still the best quality I can get unless I shell out for something made in Maine.

Sperry boat shoes are my mainstay, most versatile comfort shoes. I have a new pair, two broke-in pairs, and two "repaired" pairs. I just can't part with them. They're great on the water and for just "hanging out."

They are a tried and true favorite. I have owned numerous pairs of these shoes over the last 15 years or so. I love them! They are a timeless classic.

The shoes arrived right on time andvquickly. They were the exact shoe I had ordered and they fit perfectly right out of the box.

I've had a pair for years but had to retire them so bought a new pair. Their sizing seemed to have changed because I had to return what I ordered originally and go one full size down. Nonetheless, excellent quality.

I love these shoes, they've become my go to summer favorites! I wear them with everything, they polish up the most causal of outfits. I've also been consistently wearing them and they look better the more broken in they get.
