This is my first pair of Top-Siders, and I have to say that I am glad I finally sprung for a pair. They are just as comfortable with socks (for those with dress codes) as they are without socks (as they are intended to be worn.) I have also received a few complements on my new style. My only complaint is a slight quality issue in that the tongue on the left shoe is about 1/4" shorter than the right, which isn't very noticeable when wearing but I could feel the difference for the first couple of days. It's a hassle to get things shipped to wear I live so I opted not to return them and try for a different pair.

This show is my dads favorite. He loves the look and fit of these shoes. He has had many pairs of them and would buy them again.

i've had my pair from 2009 and its been with me everywhere during the summer. fishing, beaches, and pool parties. ive never been the type to like a pair of shoes you dont wear socks in but this one is different. The only bad part is from the age the sole has started to turn yellow.

Had some issues with ordering the correct pair because my store didn't have the oatmeal in stock. I ended up being the sent the wrong color so I had to make another trip to return it. So that's why I'm knocking off a point. I usually wear a 10, but Sperry tend to run big so ordering the 9.5 was a perfect fit. As usual it took a few wears to break them in and now they are very comfortable. In terms of style I replaced the laces with white ones for summer. Way better!

I love the style ans color (Sahara) of these shoes but BEWARE of size. I wear a 9 1/2 in athletic shoes and I had to order an 8 1/2. The regular width was way to narrow. I don't consider myself as having a wide foot and I have never had issues with other shoes. The wide fits me but I feel like I could have ordered it the next wider one for comfort.

I've had these shoes for a few months. Overall I like the shoes but in the right shoe where the innersole meets the sole on the inside of the shoe (just behind the ball of my foot) the is an annoying bump. Over time I kind of got used to the feeling until the innersole starting coming un-glued and moving under the back part of my foot. When I purchased my shoes I was under the assumption that Sperry make a quality long lasting product, but in my situation that was not the case. Either there is a defect with my shoe or the quality of the shoe was not up to par with expectations.

I ordered two of the same shoe, different colors. Both size 11. One was too big, the other too small. They were made in different countries. I love Sperrys (wearing a pair right now), but can I get some consistency in size and quality?

Still a great shoe and one I have had in my rotation for many, many years. I am disappointed with the quality of this last pair though as I have worn them only twice and the leather liner in the insole is already pulling up. I don't recall ever having this happen on the ones of old until I had beat them into the ground for years. Overall, though. Still a great summer shoe.

Look nice and fairly comfortable. Only complaints are they scuff easily and occasionally a seam or something rubs against my right foot just above my little toe.

What you see is what you get...usual Top-Sider quality, construction and style. As a 13A, the Narrow fit is very good.

I thought it was odd how difficult it was to find the classic version of the shoe on the website. The wide variety of versions is cool, but it would seem like the classic would be the headliner, or at least the first option. I have to rate the comfort level average because my feet are taking awhile to get accustomed to the shoes. Seems like my last pair felt like slippers from day 1. The topmost sheet of leather on one of the shoe's insoles is not thoroughly glued-down. Not a whole lot to get excited about, but evidence of lax quality control. On the other hand, these shoes are replacing a pair I've been wearing since 1994.

Compared to my last purchase of Sperry Top Siders, these felt smaller. Wearing with socks makes for an extremely tight fit even though the size is identical to my last pair.

Nice shoes, but get a half size to a full size smaller than usual. The run big and they will stretch out a bit. Cozy is best. They were nice for our beach wedding. My groomsmen and I all wore them.

When my son purchased these Top-siders I was excited because I used to wear them when I was young too. Of course, he never wanted to wear what I thought was cool, until everyone in his Fraternity at college was wearing them. He loves the comfort, style and the fact that he bought them at a cheaper price than his brother who went to Nordstrom.

I bought these for my 18 yo son and he loves them! We ordered the 15 at first but had to send them back because this style fit 1 size too large. We reordered the 14 and they fit great. He wears them with jeans, khakis and shorts.

Good shoe overall. The blue is not that dark and I would have preferred it be darker. Also the fit was a little weird. I wear these without socks. Good shoe. Go get it!

I bought this for an adult male who wears a size 5.5 children's penny loafer from Sperry. The original boat shoe in classic leather is not available in children's sizes so I took a chance on the size 6 in men's and fortunately it worked out fine. The length is fine but they are a bit narrow. That should work out when they are broken in through wear.

Our family loves Sperry shoes! My one suggestion would be to request that you start making larger sizes. I just bought size 16's for my son. He wears a 17 so I will take them to have them stretched. It is tough on the young adults with big feet, most shoes that come in bigger sizes are basketball shoes or dress shoes. He is very happy to have a new pair of sperry's that almost fit!

Bought the original boat shoe via Sperry's web site. They arrived in a week and fit well. The leather quality of the shoe seems lower than the previous pair I had. But they were 15 years old. It seems like everyone os lowering quality rather than raise their price. I'd pay more for better quality. I still like the shoes but they "ain't what they used to be" . One other thing, they bled onto the cuffs of my khakis.

I do not have any more to say about the product. The boat shoes arrived as expected, and were sized as expected. Price was competitive.

I have two of these--the Sahara and the brown with white soles. I love these shoes, and they're such a classic and such a summer staple--especially in the south and on campus. However, the inside always falls apart on me! It's not the biggest issue in the world. I adjust the glued in part where it needs to be before I put the shoe on, and my foot keeps it there while I wear it. Yesterday, the sole and the leather portion stitching gave out. This shoe was five years old. May he rest in peace. I personally believe such an established shoe from such an established brand should last longer.
