I have been wearing this same model Boat shoe for at least 35 years and my most recent pair which was purchased back in the early 2000 are still looking good but I have older ones too that I Kick around the yard with but I have noticed you're feet change with age so the problem is with some might be going up a Half size my next Purchase I'm going up half size

I love the Gold cup but can never get my size 11w in the boat shoe I want.

The shoe is what one might call a 'traditional' as the product is often seen along the seaboard states and summer holiday crowds. The good side is; the product hasn't changed in years; allowing for a convenient choice when considering replacing the 'old ' dogs. The fair to less than wanted is the stiffness in the new shoes. The upper or top and back of the shoe is considerably more stiff; to the point of causing a blister and discomfort. This may have been a 'break-in' of shoes from decades ago; but the shoes of this era are rarely if ever needing such a time leading one to avoid the shoes over other choices in a closet. Sad, but true; the leather needs to be softer or more pliable before placing the product on the shelves in a marketplace.

The shoe is nice just wish you made WIDER size. I can wear a size 14 but even with your size 15 wide I'm tight by where the tongue meets the upper.

the leather and quality of build are better than previous couple of years hope the new sole works out

Love the shoes, find the prices some what excessive which is why I will wait for my size and colour to come up on sale.

Looks good and is pretty comfortable for a few hours. They do get a bit uncomfortable after the 4 or 5 hour mark.

I like that this shoe is available in black and in wide width, although the wide is still not very wide. I have have to have this shoe stretched to be wide enough and it's still a little snug.

Shoes are still a bit too tight even though I ordered wide, but my husband has a very wide foot. I'm trying to get him to part with his 40yr old pair that are falling apart! He won't part with them!!

Generally very nice, but had similar quality problem to other pair of shoes (purchased at same time). The inside sole insert came unglued in one shoe. Was able to re-glue it myself with shoe adhesive.

Ordered medium width many times previously but now runs narrow, exchanged for wide.

The shoe looks and fits great. Not my first pair of Sperry topsiders one thing that I don't like about the shoes are the laces. They are way too thick and almost impossible to keep tide maybe a combination, material of leather and cloth and a little thinner version would help keep the shoes tied.

The leather in the top and tongue is flimsy and droops down into the show making it difficult to put on the shoe.

I had to settle for these because the same shoe in the better quality Gold Cup series are never or very rarely in stock. This style only last about a year before they wear down to the welting threads and the sole starts to flap. The Gold Cup series are far more comfortable and worth the higher price but as mentioned rearly available in larger and wider sizes

This is my 5th pair of the exact same shoes and I have found the fit has changed. These shoes are tighter than my previous 4 pairs, even allowing for the newness. On the plus side, I do like the new insoles.

I've worn these for 40 years. Great in sun and rain (and even snow). I love them!

Wish I had tried them on before the exchange time was up. Order 10.5 M, normal size, should have ordered a W for a wider fit. Hopefully, they will loosen up with some wear.

Classic styling less support than Gold Cup models.

Worn these 2 eye authentic originals for over 30 years. Comfortable. Long wearing. However I wish that the insoles would not come loose so easily. Even my newest pair already has a missing insole.

They are very comfortable with no need for any breaking in. The soles feel very thin, so that you can feel every pebble as you walk.

I order the biggest size yall make but wear through them quickly due to really needing 1 size larger. Great shoes !

Very comfortable and soft, really love the gorgeous tan color. I love wearing these with shoes with shorts or long khaki pants. Price and quantity are hard to beat.
