With only a few wears, these are already broken in and they are the most comfortable shoes that I own. I plan to live in these shoes all summer long. I would recommend buying half a size smaller. They should fit snugly at the back so that the leather does not chafe and cut up the back of your foot. Since you are, of course, not ever wearing these with socks.

Excellent shoes...they run a little bit smaller so I suggest getting 1/2 to 1 size smaller than your normal shoe size. Also, they aren't meant to be worn with socks which results in a smaller size.

Bought these for my brother for his High School graduation. He loves them! Sperry is classic, goes with everything! You can't go wrong with these..

This was a Xmas gift for my nephew who is just beginning to sail. I got him the Original Sperry Topsider as they have served me well for over 40 years. These shoes have such a rich tone to them that looks great with almost anything! This is my second pair of Sperrys and I find that they run half a size too big - I normally wear an 8.5 but had to order an 8. Because they're leather it takes a bit for them to break in but one you do that they're extremely comfortable.

This is my 3rd pair in 20 years. These shoes really hold up! Unlike other moccasin style shoes these have very soft and flexible leather uppers. From buying these shoes before the only issue I found is that I have to get the next larger width available. The shoes have minimal arch support and it is glued in. But I use the shoes more as slippers so it is not a problem. The shoes are easy to slip on and off. The soles do provide excellent slip resistance on wet smooth surfaces which is what they are designed for.
