This a a quality show with a quality of leather that was surprisingly high given the price of the shoe.Yes the toe sticks out a bit farther than the sole, and yes that MAY cause it to become a bit scuffed at some point as some other reviewers pointed out. Not an issue for me however, and this is a LOT of shoe for the money folks!

Got them for husband, who is a true size 9M. They fit perfectly and look expensive. He hasn't worn them for any length of time yet, but says they are comfortable walking around the house (trying them on).

Nice looking shoe! I've gotten several compliments. Runs a little small and narrow. Suggest trying a half size larger than normal and maybe a wide.

This is the best shoe that I have found. It is true to size, comfortable and looks great. I just keep buying a new pair everytime I need new shoes.

Great value for the money. Very stylish and overall comfortable shoe. Am still breaking them in but are getting more comfortable the more I wear them.

I thought these shoes ran a little more narrow than advertised, but they were still a decent fit. What was disappointing, however, was the was the toes bent in after kneeling in them only a few times.

Design appears good but leather thinner than I imagined. Italian design looks great in pictures but seems dainty up close.

Great fit, very comfortable, and stylish. It bends easily in the middle though but otherwise, great!

You get what you pay for. I wanted a lightweight shoe for not too much money to do an Irish couple dance with my granddaughter. This shoe fit the bill. It's comfortable. It has a leather sole, so you can dance in it. However, the sole is really thin and would wear out in no time if I used these shoes for general wear. While the shoe is stylish, the leather is mostly glued together, rather than stitched. That's not a problem, unless you want to pretend these are high-priced shoes. I'm happy with my purchase and hope I have a chance to dance in the shoes again soon!

Shoe would be great if a little wider.

Pros: Attractive, stylish and affordable. Cons: Very poor construction (insoles shifted and came out 3 days after purchase), laces cut through eyelets, absolutely no cushioning and the heel has worn down to wood in the almost 6 months I've owned them. Bottom line: If you're in a pinch and need a nice LOOKING dress shoe for very little money, this is your shoe... it would also make a great wedding shoe.

I got these shoes because I have large ft. so far the style and the comfort are holding up! I wish some day I may get ted baker model hake 2 but on the mean time I'm enjoying leather gloves for under my budget please and thank you Zaapos. Also, when are you having a good sale on buy one and get the second pair free? Also, when are you having a sale on buy one pair get the second pair at half off?

These shoes have a very thin sole, which will not work for me as I'm a city liver and walk about 1.5 miles a day to and from train/office/etc and I wear out normal soles in a 3-4 months, so I know these won't last.

Poor Quality, wore the shoes twice and the sole and heels have deterioration happening.

I hate to say that I can't endorse these shoes. I've gone through two pairs. The first one wore down very quickly (to the point of developing a hole) in the toe within 2 months of wear. The second pair began to chip/peel within 2 weeks. I took this pair to a cobbler, who told me this happened because it's black plastic coating, not leather. Zappos was brilliant when I brought the issue to their attention, but why go through that? They look super sharp, and are great once the sole stops being slippery...but no bueno if not true leather as advertised.

Do not hold up well. I've been wearing a couple of times a week for 4 months and in that time the sole has detached from one shoe at the front and the material between the toe and laces (at the bend point) has cracked and wrinkled permanently.

I made it a point to buy shoes with a genuine leather sole instead of something synthetic. Less than three months after my purchase, the right shoe has a hole. I don't think I abuse shoes that badly, except maybe at the heel. I expected more in spite of the bargain price.

Very disappointed. I have ordered the shoe twice now, and both orders have had to be returned due to defects in the shoes that were sent. Don't recommend purchasing these if you need them for immediate use - you just might receive a defective pair.

I would not recommend these shoes, especially if you plan on wearing them frequently. I have three total pairs of shoes which I cycle through: (1) these, (2) Steve Madden P-Garth, and (3) Johnston & Murphy Meltons. I got all three pairs of shoes within a few days of each other (started a new job) and I wear them all equally to work every day for the last three months. These are by-far the lowest quality of the three. The other two pairs of shoes still look fantastic; there is no comparison. These are nearly completely worn out - toes are almost completely destroyed and the leather is wearing out all over. I will say that the soles are holding up very well, but everything else looks hideous. I've worn them < 40 times.
