Your shoes are a god-send - This is my 4th pair of Keens. These are not quite as comfortable as the others but it is because of my feet. I have bunions and need to wear orthotics but ever since I became familiar with your shoes last summer, I have been able to go without the orthotics and no foot pain. Thank you...thank you. I also like their look, but I like casual. I teach and wear them everyday. I will buy more.

Monterey Sandal - Light-weight and so comfortable. Looks great on or off the beach.

Good vacation shoes - The first time I wore them, I got a blister on my heel (sans socks). The second time I wore them, I wore socks and walked about 8 miles all over San Diego--felt great. They look trendier than my New Balance shoes, so make great vacation comfy shoes. I bought the taupe which look great with jeans and capri pants.

perfect! The Monterey was just the spring/summer shoe I was looking for. It has the timeless fisherman shoe style with the unique Keen flair. Not to mention the extremely all day comfort that Keen shoes offer. I am the proud wearer of Keen's Providence as well.

Waiting for them to break in! I'd been dying to try a pair of Keens and selected these. The left shoe fits well, but the right shoe hurts the top of my foot. They were not as instantly comfortable as I had hoped, though the innersole feels good and they have lots of support. As someone who has suffered broken toes, I feel safe wearing these, but hope they soften up a bit. Also, not very summery for a sandal - better in the fall and winter with socks. Size-wise, I am between a 4.5 and a 5 and these fit. Keens definitely run small.

Cuter than the picture - I think these are finally the sandals for me. They are comfortable so far. They do rub a little along one of the straps, but that is going away with wear. I wasn't sure from the picture I would like them, but they are cute with shorts and jeans and khakis. The insole comes out, and I did have to add a pad underneath because they fit a little big (not too long, but too tall in the toe box).

Sandals for people who don't like sandals - These are great. My second pair of Keens and I love them. I did get a blister when I wore them the first time but I think as time goes by they will be like wearing flip flops around town, which is just what I wanted during the steamy New York summers. I especially like that I don't have to pedicure before I wear them because of the covered toe. The covered toe is also great in the city because your feet stay cleaner. Great support, even without the insole!

My 7D custom orthotics fit in a size 7 just fine. The fit would definitely benefit from a velcro closure and there is no cushioning once you take out the insole since the shoe bottom is made of rubber.

Squeaky Keen Monterey - This is a great shoe, though it takes awhile to break it in. It is a little tight in the width until it stretches out and also somewhat loose in the heel unless you wear socks. The shoes developed a squeak after walking in them for about two weeks. Still a little squeaky at present. I love the color and the style; they are great for the lower back, good support. In general, a good walking and standing shoe.

Female podiatrist-Keen - Works great with orthotics. Unlike other Keens, the insole comes out of this model making it easy to insert a custom orthotic. This shoe, with my orthotics, is very comfortable to walk around town in. These shoe fit loose, therefore allows room for foot deformities, such as, hammertoes and bunions.

Comfort but not much on looks!!! I found these shoes comfortable to be in all day without my feet getting too hot. I usually work in good walking or tennis shoes with good support. This shoe is just as comfy., However they are no great fashion statement.

hey hey Monterey - so far I gotta say, I've worn my new sandals a couple of times, yet still feel my keen h2o's are more comfortable.Not to say I don't like my montereys, I do, but for walking, they don't offer as much support as the keen h2o's.

Keen Monterey for Women - I love this shoe! It is rightly called a hybrid shoe, part hiking shoe, part sandal. I like its looks and I like the rugged sole. I also like the waterproof leather. I did like the fit; I wore it around the house for days. It is a very comfortable shoe. The ONLY thing I did not like about it was the fact that on the day we left to go camping on Mt. Baker, it started rubbing blisters on my heels. I had to wear band aids and socks, and these shoes were a bit too snug with socks. I also had to tighten the strap that buckles because it stretched a little. I have worn the shoe without socks since we got back home, and it is no longer rubbing my heels. Over all, I think this is a great shoe.

Looks aren't everything - Not the prettiest shoes I own but probably the most comfortable. A little snug, so will probably go up a half size next time. Highly recommended!

Yes, No, Maybe - Yes, they hide my gnarly old toes nicely. Yes, they have a terrific supportive footbed. Yes, they look great in their own weird way. And yes, they come in the Size That Dares Not Speak Its Name: the rare and dreaded 10-1/2. For all this, I know I should be deeply grateful. But why can't the darned things be perfect and come in narrow? These sandals are so wide I had to poke extra holes in the straps to keep them from falling off, and now the seam where strap meets shoe) rubs blisters on my insteps. I tried stuffing them with my orthotics to narrow them down, but the combination of the orthotics arch on top of the Keen arch was just too -- archy. So there's nothing to do but wear socks with these things, which makes me look even more like a granola-eating granny than usual. I hope Keen keeps making this shoe but I wish they'd consider us narrow-feet folks as well.

The insole of this shoe squeak - I love the look of the shoe and its comfortable, but the insole squeaks, therefore I had to take the other shoe insole, I like the shoe that is why I did not return it you, if you can send me a new insole would be great.

For your inner earth woman - These versatile shoes give all the comfort you need. Their earthy quality works equally well with jeans or long skirts. They are roomy, cool and just dorky enough to keep you smiling.

Keen shoes are COMFY!! I have worn the Keen sandal now for a few weeks and they are very comfortable and easy to take care of too. I have another pair in different style. I would like to tell everyone to try the Keen line of footwear and compare !

Very comfortable shoe - true to size. A little clumsy looking but worth keeping for the summer.

Wear it to work or to the movies - Great looking and feeling shoe. Can be dressy enough for work, but you will want to wear it for play too!

Second best but pretty good - I bought these after returning a pair of Birkenstock fishermen's sandals that were miserably uncomfortable, and, while they're okay, they haven't the elegant proportions of the Birkis (which would have looked fine with casual skirts) and they don't come in narrows, as Birkis do. On the other hand, they don't have the disadvantages of the Birkis: a front seam that ripped my instep to shreds and a too-short front that mashed my toes. The Montery also felt comfy and supportive right out of the box, though wider than I'd like. I hate having to wear socks with sandals, but that's how it is for people with long, skinny feet. Bottom line: comfortable but aggressively ugly. I'll wear them for casual, but certainly not when I want to feel well dressed.

Great shoe after breaking them in - I really liked the look and features of this shoe. Once I got them, it took a little while to break them in especially the straps over my arch. They are sized a little smaller than expected across the top of the foot but roomy for your toes.

As Expected From Keen... superb comfort. And it seems they are trying to make the shoes look a little more stylish, less geeky ;o) Though I own plenty of the geeky styles myself. As usual, I had to order a half- size larger, as I do for all the Keen styles.

Cute but Too Hot For a Sandal - These shoes are very cute and felt good on my feet once I ordered the next size up but they were very hot, even inside on a moderate day. They did squeak when I walked, even when I took out the insole and inserted my orthotics, but I didn't want to try putting powder in since I was going to return them.

not in love - Based on everyone else's reviews, I ordered these shoes and wanted to love them. But I ended up returning them; too short, too narrow, and too clunky...
