"Great shoes for problem feet" I liked the shoe so much that I wanted another pair, in a different color. With problem feet this is a fantastic summer shoe. Everywhere I go I get complimented and asked where I got them, and that is at Zappos.com.

Love this shoe! I've been looking for a long time for a closed-toe sandal. This shoe fits the bill. It's comfy, has an updated look, and great for walking. For me, it fits better with a thin sock.

COMFY SANDALS OFFER SUPERB SUPPORT FOR FEET - I was looking for a sturdy, comfortable sandal ideal for city and country walking. This is a fun, funky, and ultra-comfy sandal that completely fit the bill. Well-made, with a skid-free lug sole, these sandals feel good on my feet even after a full day of wearing and walking. Keens do run a bit on the short side--if I had to wear these with socks, it would be a bit of a tight fit in the length. They are also not suitable for narrow feet. If you're concerned about size, you might want to order a half-size up. But I'm an 8.5 and the 8.5's I ordered fit perfectly.

Awesome sandal - I wear a size 9 and usually in a sandal, it looks more like a canoe. However, this sandal did the exact opposite! I get nothing but compliments on them and they are SO comfortable! Thanks Zappos for your quick delivery and availability of the product!

This one will not disappoint you - I am having problems with my foot due to ski fall and needed good arch support. These are the best shoe so far, excellent arch support no breaking in time, good style. I would replace the metal buckle for something more sportive but otherwise I am very satisfied.

Great casual sport sandal and more... I wanted a sandal to cover my toes - Keen is the obvious choice. It took about 23 minutes to break them in - very comfortable and cool. The leather makes them more "dressy" than the H2s and I like the leather insole.

Great Shoes - I like the look of all the Keen shoes; however, they don't just look great, they are very comfortable. I cannot wait to get a new pair.

K.Monterey - A sensational shoe. Great for those who want to protect their heels from that awful dry condition that comes from constantly wearing open heeled sandals, yet your foot can breathe! Great for walking however,if you are in- between 1/2 sizes you might want to consider going down a half size in Keens. I discovered a closer fit feels better all over instead of foot kind of flopping around inside shoe. My feet are very tender and problematic: (hallux rigidus) "stiff big toe joint". The support under ball of foot is very good as it is under heel. KEENs are best so far,(ZAPPOS let me try 'BITE', and many others). This shoe leather is so soft on top of foot where nerves are tender. I've read all accolades on ZAPPOS. They are true. This company's originators are true genius and if other online categories like clothing and accessories could study them - they would learn customer service is what makes a company not just succeed but excel. ZAPPOS is at the very top of the game. Superb.

Ultimate in Comfort - I work in multiple health care facilities and I am always on hard concrete floors. My feet were killing me until a FRIEND, turned me on to Keen shoes. These shoes conform to the shape of your foot, supporting and protecting. I really like the Keen Monterey, for the cool comfort of a sandal, but my toes are covered and protected, which is needed in most medical settings. Thank You Keen!

Keen about Keen - I was looking for a replacement shoe for a favorite but wornout pair of Merrell sandals (a style that was discontinued), and saw Keen Monterey... I ordered them and they are perfect! Great look, comfort and the right feel for my feet, whether wearing them to work or over the weekend. I could easily hike in these sandals, which the Merrells were perfect for, too: a shoe that fits snugly yet one that also offers bounce and supports agility.

Keen shoes and Zappos. I owe 4 pairs of Keen shoes. And I love them all. No breaking in time. I have problems with my feet, and these are great!! Zappos is a wonderful store to get these from with no problem and with ease.

Love them felt comfortable right away. I have to wear orthotics special made and I can put them right in. I did not need to remove the inner sole. I bought a 9 and I wear a 8.5 but usually have to buy a size bigger or half size depending on shoe to fit my orthotics. A 9 was fine. I sail and these are great because of non marking and no slipping sole. Do not have to wear nurse white shoes a plus for looks.

great shoe - Love this shoe. I thought the 8 was too small so Zappos sent me a 8.5 (I have an 8.5 Boston Chukka that I wear to work) but I instantly knew the 8.5 Monterey was too big as I won't wear heavy sox with it, so I returned the 8.5. Now I don't want to wear any shoes other than Keen! Don't hesitate,comfort is what its all about. Zappos could not do anything better than they already do. They get 5 stars too.

Outstanding ! I purchased these shoes, returned them, and ordered them again. I really liked the look and style of this shoe but it felt too loose at first. Which was my reason for the return. The second time was the charm. The Monterey has a great ride! I didn't even know I had them on. I have flat arches and the Monterey has just enough arch support. It's not too high or low. And my toes have plenty of room. The first time I wore them a lady wanted to know where I had gotten them. Zappos.com the BEST!!!! Be sure to take the advice of others who purchase Keen shoes and order a half size larger than your normal size.

Worldly gut - Right out the box, after standing 5 hours at a jazz festival, the Montereys still felt great. And a great looking sandal

fabulous shoe - Finally - a sandal I can wear with my orthodics! This shoe is great to wear in hot and humid Texas, - feet are so cool. Zero break-in time - maybe a little foot powder to keep foot from sticking to foot bed.

Very comfortable sandal - I originally wanted the Keen Newport but it was too wide looking in my size (11). The Monterey is more shoe-like but still as comfortable as a sneaker and good-looking.

I love these shoes! This is my first, but not my last pair of Keen shoes. They feel like they run about a half size smaller, but decided to keep them and they are fine now. They are really comfortable and I plan on buying a pair for my son now too.

Casual and uniquely sophisticated - Tops in comfort and durability, an excellent compliment to slacks, and capris but moves easily from play to the office. Slimmer lines than the Newport series, very attractive and carefree in appearance.

LEAN ON THE KEENS - I love wearing these on weekends and for work. These are my first pair of KEENS and will not be my last pair. I highly recommend them. I have looked high and low for a pair of sandals and have finally FOUND THEM! THANK YOU Zappos.com you ROCK COOL ALL THE WAY!

Keen means comfort! I now have several pairs of Keen shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I own next to my Birkenstocks! I can stand or walk in them all day and my feet don't feel tired. Well worth the price tag.
