I love these shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes. I wanted to buy another pair but you don't have my size. Don't know if they have been discontinued but I hope not.

Another fantastic shoe from Converse - I love these shoes. They're vintage, but stylish, preppy, but not geeky. I love 'em. Fit true to size. I bought a pair of after-market insoles just cuz I'm in my feet all day (I'm a teacher), but they're great. My only concern is that they do rub the heel pretty badly, but that's probably just because they're new. And after all, they're Converse, and you buy 'em more for style than comfort. I'm sure they'll break in just fine. Great shoes.

These are ridiculously comfortable thongs, providing just the right amount of cushion and support. Quality build. Already a favorite...even in winter.

Classic - My husband loved his Jack Purcell Converse shoes that I got him. I loved them too. I used to have a pair years ago and I think they did a great job in keeping them in the same classic style while still making them considerably more comfortable than they used to be. Very nice, good quality shoes. :-)

Converse Jack Purcell - My daughter wanted a pair of Jack Purcell's for school and every store I went to did not have them or did not have her size. So, of course I want to Zappos and had no problem with getting the correct size and color. My daughter loves them and told her friends where her dad got them from.

Classic - I upgraded from a pair of Converse All-Stars, which I absolutely loved. I saw lots of high school kids wearing them, which made my 38-year old self feel pretty cool. But the Jack Purcell's are a bit more comfortable and "grown up" in the styling, so while I feel a little less edgy with the Purcell's, they're still a huge stylistic upgrade from a pair of cross-trainers or high-tech running shoes.

Online order - It was great. It got here so soon. I will definitely order from Zappos again and recommend others to do so too.

Very comfy - These sneakers are great very cool and very comfy. I want to get another pair.

Old School Style - Perfect shoe to complete the look. Removable liner is great, since there is little arch support or heel cushioning. Size runs true, as does Zappos super-fast standard delivery. Feels a bit wider than marked. That said, thanks for the walk down memory lane when a fresh pair of Jack Purcells meant summer was finally here! Too cool.

A very comfortable shoe - I ordered a half-size smaller than I might with some shoes. It's very comfortable. I never wore sneakers outside of gym class as a kid, and enjoy the comfort of the shoe, but have encountered a bit of ridicule for "trying to look like a kid". I haven't decided whether or not to let this bother me.

Converse Jack Purcell - "Very cool sneakers". I purchased a pair for myself and my wife liked so much that I went ahead and got her a pair. My 17 year old daughter and 13 year old son, said that these sneakers looked very cool. First time that my kids actually think that something that I wear is cool. Go ahead and get a pair, worth the money.

Converse Jack Purcell CP Review - Great shoes! My second pair (other pair are Varvatos) of Purcells and they are stellar. The look of these shoes will never go out and go with jeans like peanut butter and jelly. Not the most comfortable shoes (especially with those of us with flat feet), but the look is what we're really buying these for. Highly recommended.

Still a kid - I've worn these shoes since I was in grammar school. They are the most comfortable running around shoe. The wideness in the front allows your feet to expand, especially when you are walking all day long. Thanks Jack, for making this shoe so long ago.

Jack himself would be proud!!! I fell in love with the simple perfection of these sneakers about 2 years ago. I have flat feet and find it hard to find comfortable, supportive sneakers. These surprisingly do a pretty good job. My normal shoe size is 10.5 and a 10.5 fits perfect. Zappos made it easy to order, had great communication and I got them so quickly! I hope Zappos continues to stock these for many years to come.

Never shop anywhere else - I have ordered these shoes from Zappos before and my experience was so great, I ordered them again. The sizing is right on (I am a seven in women’s, and the suggestion was a men's 5 1/2, which fit perfectly). As with all Converse shoes, the arch support isn't the greatest, but it doesn’t bother me all that much (you could use an orthotic in place of the insole). I like the Purcells over the regular Converse All Stars because they are more classic than "street". I have ordered from Zappos for a couple of years now and I have NEVER been disappointed with their service. They are simply the best out there and I have been hooked ever since. I purchase almost all of my shoes from them and will continue to do so for life! Hmmm... now I am waiting on the brown/pink Purcells to come in so I could purchase them also.

Looks great, gets a lot of compliments. Easy to clean. Comfortable, but gets less so when worn for long spells. Order a half-size down.

Reading the other reviews I was worried about the fit, but got my true size anyway. Now that I have them I can't see what anyone was talking about, they fit absolutely perfectly. I (and others) think they look great with their clean, simple lines and smile. One person though mistook them for Chuck Taylors. Last, Zappos is amazing and got them to me on Tuesday after I ordered Sunday with regular shipping. Great shoes.

Blast from the Past - I wore this same brand of shoe when I was younger. Have tried for years to find them, then was very surprised when my girlfriend found them on Zappos. They are still as comfortable as I remember them. I would recommend them to anyone who wants just a plain tennis shoe to wear with jeans.

Teenage son ordered a pair in navy, which arrived in the mail the next day. Fit is true to size. He wears an 8.5 and ordered 8.5. Comfortable and no complaints from him. He's gotten compliments on these classic sneakers.

Jack Purcell Blue-Tips! I thought they quit making these! My brothers and I wore these in the early 70's so I had to have a pair, just for the sake of nostalgia. They're every bit as comfortable as I remember and have a cool, classic vibe about them. If you wear Converse All Stars, I recommend going a full size larger on these because they have a little more padding and arch support than Chucks. Love 'em! This is my second pair of shoes from Zappos and their customer service is absolutely the best on the 'net. I will never set foot in a shoe store again. Ever.

Great intellectual summer shoe - These shoes are great. They go with practically anything in my wardrobe. Be sure to get your regular shoe size, NOT Chuck Taylor sizes. I'm a 10 in Chucks but I'm a size 11(wide). They're a little snug since they're narrow so if you have wide feet, consider getting them a half size larger than your normal size.

Great Shoe - I ordered a size 8, when I typically wear a size 7.5. The 8 is slightly big, but not enough so that I need to send this shoe back for a smaller size. Therefore, I think the 7.5 would have been too small because I like a little breathing room for my toes. It's very comfortable and I like the simplistic, retro style. I bought these for an upcoming stay in Europe, and I'm confident they will stand the test of time while keeping me stylish.

Great shoe....Great service!!! I love these shoes. Classic and hip. I get many compliments on them and even wear them to work due to the easy dressablility of these shoes! Zappos is by far the best, I am typically an in person buyer of shoes, but the level of service is unmatched! I'm a Zappos buyer for life! I ordered these less than 24 hours before I received them! INSANE!!

Jack be nimble - Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack reminded of when I was quick. I saw these shoes and was nostalgic about my childhood when I'd wear my Jack Purcell's until the sole wore through. I'd run in the rain and creeks and watch water squirt from the metal eyelets on the insides of the shoes. They fit well too.
