Jack Purcell's are Jack Purcell's...hard to ever say anything but positive things. So...the shoe are great. It's the customer service from Zappos that makes the difference, 1st Class, top notch...best ever!

These are awesome shoes. My friend has worn them since high school. We couldn't find them in stores anymore, so we're really happy Zappos had them.

I just bought these and I love them! The only thing is I wish that Converse had a little more comfort and support. But overall these are great shoes!

First of all I love Jack Purcell, I have several pairs they are comfortable and true to size, I always get complements on the different colors I have.

These are super comfortable shoes and I'm so happy I got them. They keep my feet warm especially since the weather's getting cold. It took a few days to break them in, but overall they look awesome, especially with black laces. I wanted to avoid looking like a kid in high school, so having black laces really helped.

FABULOUS shoe! Light, comfortable - will probably wear these out because I intend to wear them all the time!

Happily, these remind me of a previous generation of my favorite Jack Purcell canvas tops that are no longer available. More colors please.

Already had a pair of these low tops in whit but just had to have the blacks too after seeing someone wearing them the other day. Has anyone ever come up to you and said, "I really like your Jack Purcell's." If someone recognizes your JP's, you know you have met a pretty cool & perceptive individual.

These shoes are very well made, sturdy, and they have good support. They are very comfortable, and they do not need breaking in. They also look nice on your feet.

Very cute shoe. Fits true to size. I ordered my normal size 8 1/2 and it fit perfectly. (FYI...the Chuck Taylor converse runs a little big so I normally have to get an 8 but this Jack Purcell shoe runs true).

I have been wearing all stars and shorelines the last two years. I had other pairs in high school but that was a long time ago. I'm a women's size 9. So in the all stars I wear an 8. In the shorelines a 9 and in these a 8.5. These are longer in the toe box. A bit wider. I love them.

Original Jack Purcells, not the new, cheaper version that Converse is now selling. You can tell that they're the originals if they have the blue soles. Stock up before they sell out...

I bought these for my son. I ordered a half size smaller and they fit him perfect! I couldn't believe how quickly they were delivered to my front door!

I have been wearing Jacks for years & have not found a more comfortable & neatly stylish sneaker besides my running shoes. These are street ready for anything. They are true to size & look snazzy! Only bummer is that they used to be made in USA.

I buy a pair of Jack Purcell's every year When it starts to get warm. I loved everything about them. But Converse came along and apparently decided to make them less expensive to manufacture and then raised the price. The embroidered logo is gone from the tongue, the loop logo is gone from the footbed, the grommeted vents moved down and now overlap the edge of the soles, and overall the canvas and "rubber" soles have been downgraded. I still like them a lot -- but I no longer love them. I really wish they hadn't done that.

My shoes are awesome and so is Zappos! I love the speed in getting my purchase, as well as the stock you all have to choose from.

I'm normally a 5 1/2 in Chucks and got it in this size but it was a little tight in the front but not to the point where I can't use them. I really love them. I'm thinking of just getting a 6 next time these wear off.
