Normally I wear a women's size 9.5 or 10...these were at least an inch longer by the toes. Also the wool is very itchy on my legs.

Leg is too tight.

I am returning these slipper socks. I really, really wanted to love them. The sock itself is a rough cotton knit and is so tight I can barely get my foot in to it. The sock itself is also very long, almost to my knees. I was going to just cut the sock down and try to finish the knitted edge with a short cuff. However, the foot rests on this same rough cotton knit. Very uncomfortable. The leather bottom and edges seem fine. I can't believe Acorn Quality Control would produce a sock this rough and tight. Oh well, Zappos is great with returns. I'll look for something else.

The length of the shoe was far too long for my size, and it was super, super narrow. I had an old similar design from L L Bean. I do no recommend this as a replacement.

I have owned two other acorn slipper socks in the past. The sole was true leather and smooth, not some imitation. The width of the sock material on my other pairs fit my foot perfectly. Not to tight around the angle and they transended to the foot with out any bulges. This pair did not do anything wright (Made in china).

My husband wears a 9 1/2 size shoe and these were so small he could barely get them on. The fabric and materials of the slipper were excellent. They were just way too small!

Beware when you select the size. Acorn has made a change in their sizing. My husband wears a size 9.5 shoe and his last pair of Acorns were a 9-10. But I had to order a size MD(7.5-8.5) to get the correct size for him. Interesting, on the bottom of the slipper it says the size is 9-10. But order the MD to get that size. Several orders later he has the slipper that fits him.

Ordered 2 pair, 1 for husband in XL, 1 for me in L. His was way to long and too snug around ankle; mine was too long and too snug around ankle and sole fit odd on both pair. He tried mine and it still was too big and fit odd. Returned both pair. They seem to be good quality but the fit is so off that they won't work

Ordered for a family member. Very cute but was way too big for her. Listing says fits women’s 8-9 but it was much bigger in reality and had to return.

Didn't work for me. I'm a size 12-13 in typical shoes. I ordered the XXL (comparable sizing chart), exchanged them for the smaller size (10-11) which fit perfectly, until I started walking around; they continued to slide down, off my feet. Very comfortable when just sitting down, but while walking around, they wouldn't stay on my feet! They would slide down/off. Excited at the look/style/comfort (while seated). But totally impractical as they don't stay on my feet when walking around.

Because of reviews, I ordered one size up (from 11 to 12). The recipient of the slipper could have lived with the extra length of the foot portion, but found the material around the ankle way too narrow and constricting. This is an individual with average ankles. Back the slippers went.
