I absolutely love these shoes. I bought a pair about five years ago now and was very happy to see some new styles when I finally discovered Zappos. I fit usually 8½-9 and bought an 8 both times and was not disappointed! I think they were initially snug but not tight lengthwise, but fortunately I was able to find the original box to see that I did have the same size as before and lo and behold they stretched out comfortably. I think if I had gone up a size they would have been a little more like clown shoes. But they now fit like little gloves; the only reason I gave them four stars is that they provide no support. I would not want to stand in them for eight hours. My original ones still look OK, though the bottoms are worn smooth, which is another sign that they are well loved.

These shoes are super comfortable, stylish, and can be worn with a lot of different outfits. The tongue is also attached to the laces, which makes slipping the shoes on and off very easy. I never have to tie and untie the laces. Yes, it's THAT utilitarian, and I'm THAT lazy.

My most comfortable sneaker - I have tried Converse, Adidas, Reebok, you name it. This is one of the most comfortable sneakers that I could wear to both the gym and supermarket. I have always avoided flatter sports shoes because they tend to be too narrow in front and too wide behind. I felt totally relaxed even after walking for some distance. It’s great looking too.

Fun shoes! These shoes are so cute and very comfortable! They are a bit bigger than I would expect for the size, but I don't mind because I am going to get some arch support inserts. I bought these because I needed some comfortable lace-up shoes that I could wear an ankle brace with but which could go to work without seeming out of place, and these are perfect. Many compliments! Adorable shoes!

I just received these shoes and love the look of them and the color (navy). Very cool. But, I am normally a 6 and the size 6 in this shoe is too big for me. They don't come in a smaller size! I am very disappointed!

Great with my orthotics - I have had a heck of a time finding a pair of cute running shoes that would work with my orthotics. Most have arch support built into the sole that defeats the purpose of my custom orthotics and causes me pain -- even if I remove the inserts, no luck. I pulled the very thin inserts out of these, slid my orthotics in and walked all over New York for three days without hurting myself. I have the turquoise ones and love them.

Gola Chase - Brown and lime green - The shoes are great..I love them! I usually wear a size 7.5 (us) in shoes. Since these only come in whole sizes I chose a size 7 and they fit. I want to get another pair in a different color too.

Awesome Shoes!!! I was looking for something different and these shoes are it. They are extremely comfortable and look fantastic. Got a lot of comments on them.

I have narrow, pointy feet and high arches so ordering the half size down didn't work. I can fit my orthotics into the next size up and now they are so very comfortable! They seem narrower than usual B width. Love the sleek style and navy color.

Great casual sneaker. I usually wear a size 7 and based on customer reviews I ordered a 6 and the fit is perfect. Feel comfortable on, but haven't walked in them all day yet.

These sneakers are great. More for walking around than the gym. I'm a 7 1/2 and the 7 worked for me.

I was looking for a sneaker that was comfortable yet is not bulky I just received them yesterday and so far so good! I wear a 7 1\/2-8 but the 7 fits perfect.

The Gola Chase is a great shoe! I have narrow feet that pronate a significant amount, so I could NOT wear this shoe (as with many shoes) without my orthotics. However, with my support, they feel great. I have tried many shoes that will not work even with my orthotics, but this one does. I’m sure they would work well for someone with strong arches and wider feet with the included insole only. They seem to be about a half size larger than the size. I find these shoes to be light, not bulky, and fashionable, yet understated. I like them so much that I even ordered another pair in a different color!

These are great looking shoes. They are not as comfortable as your running shoes, but they don’t look frumpy either. They are wider and longer than most shoes I have worn. I normally wear an 8 and found the 7 to even be just a little big. Didn’t try the 6, but might for my next pair.

I like the Golas quite a bit. I have them in black and purple. They do run super big. I typically wear a size 7.5 to 8. I ordered a size 7 per the advice from the reviewers, and they are still a bit loose on me. They are definitely comfortable for around the town walking.

Gola Chase - These shoes are awesome. Follow the advice and order these 1/2 size smaller than you would normally wear. These are very comfortable and look great. Good vacation shoe for when you need to walk but want to do it in style! Don't wear synthetic socks with these, though...shoes don't breathe as well as others and the "friction" is uncomfortable.

Love them - I've bought Gola shoes before so I was very excited to replace my old pair (which I had for 4 years!). The shoes are super comfortable, pretty narrow, which is good for me, even though I have a size 10. They’re true to size and very stylish.

Perfect, but order down! These are so perfect and comfortable! They're just what I was looking for - a sleek black sneaker to go with the other half of my wardrobe! Casual, yet classy, they're really not clunky, and I love the thin-ish sole (not a fan of big rubbery soles). Well-priced and cute. The only complaint is that they only come in full sizes...and they run big. I'm usually an 8 1/2, but following other reviewers' suggestions I went down, and the 8s I have are still probably a half size big (I only worried about that 'cause they're suede and I'm not sure how much (or if) they'll stretch...we'll see!).

First understand that this is a sport/bouldering shoe, not a big wall or multi pitch shoe. Having said that, the rubber is not as sticky as the 5.10 stealth rubber but the heel on this shoe is a "magician", it fits like a glove. By far the best fitting heel of any shoe on the market!!!!! However, the durability of the leather is lacking. I have never worn out a pair of shoes due to the leather wearing out before the rubber wears out but these have. The toe lacks rubber and under hard flagging on overhung routes these just do not hold up. BUT THE HEEL IS SICK!

Love these shoes! I bought these shoes for a trip to NY where I planned to do a lot of walking. I usually have a hard time with sneakers because even if the soles are comfortable, the area by the heel isn't and it rubs my heel raw when trying to "break in" the shoes. I was happy to see that there was no breaking in necessary. They are so soft and comfortable! I agree with the other reviews that there's not really any arch support, but I just bought some cheap insoles and now they are perfect! Also, I think they added a scotch guard of some sort because I accidentally got some water on them, but as soon as they dried the spot disappeared. Very happy with these shoes!

Very cool, different than what your friends are wearing - I was on the hunt for a sporty shoe that doesn't make me look like I came out of the gym, but I despise both the "square toe" look and the flat-bottom tennis shoe styling of many casual sneakers. This shoe is so perfect because it is styled like a low-profile running shoe, yet the richly-colored suede gives sophistication to the look. I initially saw these while searching for brown sneakers, but once I clicked on this shoe and saw the gray I was sold. The comfort is about what you'd expect of a casual sneaker, meaning, you don't go for a run in these, but I'd rather be in these than heels any day. As for the sizing, I'm glad I read the reviews before I bought this shoe because my 7 1/2 size foot fit perfectly into size 7 of these sneakers.
