snug - excellent summer shoe to wear without socks...the inside feels like a sock!

Love them! I love these shoes. I got a size 6 to fit my 6 1/2 feet due to an earlier review and they fit perfectly! Very comfortable and stylish. I'm really happy with them and my Zappos service!

Like walking on air - I originally saw this shoe, but in dark khaki, in a boutique in New Orleans. They only had one pair left, a size 5. Oddly, I wear a 5 1/2-6, but these fit. The shopkeeper informed me they were the last pair and they would not be receiving any more. Since that was the case, and size 5 customers are few and far between, I asked if he would give me a discount. He was very firm and declined. As much as I wanted those shoes right then, I felt if he wasn't going to give me a discount I would rather give the sale to Zappos. I knew I was taking a risk, these shoes are from an overseas vendor. The day I returned from my trip I logged on to Zappos and not only did they have the same shoe for the exact same price they had a larger selection. I decided to purchase the new lighter color since summer is quickly approaching. These shoes are the lightest, most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I purchased a 5 and they fit my foot like a glove fits a hand. I purchased thinner socks to wear with them because of the fit. Hard to explain, they aren't tight, but because of the lightness you need a thinner sock. I live in total suburbia, so no one really gets what an awesome and cool shoe they are, but that's ok, I know they are phenomenal!!

Great sneaker - Stylish and very comfortable. I am a 7 1/2. I ordered the 8 - they are fine - a little bit loose - I always prefer to get my actual size - but overall I am happy.

great sneaks! I just love the comfort and look of these sneakers! I did though, think that they would have had more support for walking.

Gola Chase Mint/Navy - When my feet slipped into these sneakers my quest for the perfect, most comfortable shoe ended (for a little while anyways :))! I had originally ordered the Gola Chase in green/pink, size 8, but it was way too big. Returned it easily (Thanks Zappos), but found that the size 7 that I needed was sold out in that color. I loved the style and comfort of the shoe so much; I decided to get a size 7 in the Navy/Mint. At first I was VERY skeptical of the color, but in person it really wasn’t that bad (still bright though). I'm pretty psyched about these shoes. I am so glad that I found Zappos.

Terrific Trainer! Since Gola is a British company, sizing is based on European/British standards; therefore, half sizes are NOT available. U.S. customers please select a half size smaller than your usual shoe size. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I think that these shoes are fabulous! I enjoy the fact that... * they don't look like "athletic shoes" that you find at your local gym * it comes in a variety of color combinations * they are comfortable and lightweight Lastly, I must commend Zappos.com for their exemplary service. They upgraded my shipping for no additional charge, the shoes arrived on the date as promised, and they took extra care in sending shoe boxes that weren't damaged. I have had several experiences with other shoe companies who were not attentive to details and I appreciate that about Zappos.com!

These shoes are very comfortable and very cute, but definitely big. I usually wear an 8 1/2. I got a size 8 and it's still a little big. But generally I'm happy with them.

Comfy & hip. I need to add some extra arch support, but besides that (which I knew ahead of time from the reviews), love them!

Color - Love the style and comfort. I was disappointed with the shade of pink. In the photo it appears to be a soft/pastel pink. In reality it is quite bright.

I like the style of the shoe; however, once I received it, the quality just didn't appear as if they'd last a long time - I'm hard on shoes. Kind of cheesy lookin'. I returned them.

Nice wide shoes. Only complaint is that they are not well padded in the sole and therefore not as comfortable as I would have liked.

No comfort whatsoever. I had to give them to my daughter because they were too big. I suggest Puma.

I love this shoe! It's extremely stylish and comfortable. I normally wear a size 8 and bought the size 7 based on other reviewers feedback. They are a little snug but are wearing in nicely.

Super cute shoe, light as a feather. A lot of reviewers seemed to think it ran a little big and suggested ordering a half size down, I did not find this to be the case.

Great shoes! Super comfortable, beautifully made, funky colors...pretty much everything I wanted in a shoe. Definitely make sure you get a size smaller (or find out what your European size is and order that). I usually wear an 8.5 so I ordered the 9, but it was huge. I ended up sending them back to get an 8 which fit like a glove. Lo and behold, the 8 was the same as my European size of 39.

Cute & stylish - The shoe arrived as cute as pictured online; I heeded other reviewers' warnings, so knew that the shoe would have a somewhat thin sole with no shock absorption. Because of that, it isn't soft and bouncy as other athletic-inspired shoes are. I say athletic-inspired b/c this is definitely for short walks and walking only - no jumping up and down or hard running with these babies. That said, it's an adorable shoe and I absolutely adore it. It feels true to size and is a good fit. If they ever make the sole more shock-friendly, then I'd give it 5 stars.

Cute, decently well made - My feet are size 10, medium width, with high arches. The size 9 Gola Chase fits perfectly but offers zero arch support. They are cute and seem to be pretty well made for a "sport style" sneaker, though I'll never understand why casual-style sneakers can't be made to the same level of comfort and quality as a performance athletic shoe. Once I get a good pair of insoles in these they should be great.

Sleek - I love the look. The shoe is light and feels like I'm barefoot, which can be a little bit of a problem because there isn't much arch support, etc. For everyday wear it's wonderful.

Gola Chase - I ordered this in a size 9 (my usual size) and it was way too long. Exchanged it for the 8, which was too short. Width was on the narrow side and good for me - I have a narrow heel. Too bad it didn't work out because it looked like a well-made shoe, and I loved the ecru/tan/blue color - very versatile and yes it is as light as pictured in the photo, although a little warmer.
