Great boot ..got them for snow shoeing..kept feet dry and warm for many hours out in the deep snow and cold ..was really impressed

Excellent product! Well made, very comfortable, I think this boot will last a long time!

I have not bought heavy boots for a long time, but wanted some boots for the long term for places like Montana. Looking forward in staying warm for out trip. Thanks again!

My experience is the the upper 3 eyelets should be open eyelets or triangle like the ones below.These closed type tear the laces quickly.

I purchased the Sorel Conquest in July 2006 from Zappos... that's 9.5 years ago at the time of this review! (I just looked it up in my order history) I've used them every winter until now (Jan 2016). Winter Camping, Snowshoeing, ATV and Snowmobiling, and work. They've seen many, many days use in the snowy and muddy mountains of New Mexico and Utah. They've been really good, warm, and dry. I've applied spray-on waterproofing 3-4 times, and last year I used SnoSeal because the leather was soaking up water and looking wet during use in wet conditions. I don't remember ever getting my feet wet. I've even pressure washed them quite a few times after muddy rides. I never understood what the buckle/clip was for and I ended up cutting it off after it wore a pair of goretex pants. Maybe I wasn't wearing/using them right. The laces failed and had to be replaced 2 years ago. I'm retiring them this year because the rubber lower has failed this season. I'm not sure, but I am wondering if it was contact with the SnoSeal that caused the rubber to fail, but it could be just the age of the material. The rubber got brittle and started cracking. I would likely have just bought another pair of the same boots but is seams that the Conquest is no longer available in size 15. I'm a 15 in most anything but Nike, Addidas, and other brands that run small. In Nike, I have to go to size 16. Hopefully that helps some with choosing a size, but I'm not sure how applicable it is to the person with the average foot size. I'd say I got my money's worth out of them. Thank You Zappos for carrying large sizes! Your service is amazing! I just ordered some new boots from you and can't wait to get them.

Although I haven't yet used these outside the fit is perfect, snug and supportive .true to size. Well built and stylish can't wait to hit the snowy trails and high peaks soon!

It's a great shoe! I wore it in snow storms, deep snow and very cold weather and my feet were always warm, dry and comfortable. It's a little heavy for everyday use, but worth every dollar! Strongly recommend it!

First, Zappos was extremely fast with shipping (as usual). It has been years since I bought a pair of snow boots. I finally broke down and couldn't be happier. Very warm, very good traction. I would highly recommend.

Very happy with these. I have another pair of Sorels, but these are designed for a more snug fit which is what I was after. Warm, comfortable, and no complaints.

My husband loves these boots. They keep his feet warm and dry while he's snow blowing our driveway or taking our dogs outside. Living in Buffalo, we have to deal with a lot of deep snow and these boots are perfect for the conditions! They also fit very true to his size, even with thick thermal socks!

As I age, I find that customer service is increasingly important to me. I have never ever seen customer service as good as Zappos before. One has a full year (yep, 365 days) to decide if shoes you order are what you want and return postage is free.

Very nice boots! Very comfortable and sturdy. The only downside tot hem is that the laces are quite elastic and therefore it has proven difficult to get the boots laced up very tight; that being said, you can always buy new laces. I would recommend these!
