I'm very pleased with these boots,their a good warm boot and are very comfortable. I'm out in the snow and cold a lot pushing out driveways for around two hours or more at a time. Let me tell you my feet didn't get cold at all with one pair of heavy socks. When the sole of these boots get cold it seems as if they dig into the snow more for more traction. These boots are worth the money you pay for them. I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

I ordered these boots for my husband and he likes them. They are a little heavy but very warm, waterproof and good quality. Delivery at Zappos works amazing. The best service I ever knew.

24 hours from order to door. Nice! I wear a 10.5 in almost all shoes got an 11 and it's perfect for this type of shoe just in case I wanted to double up on socks. Have not had a chance to test them but they are nice looking and seem very rugged. As with all snow type boots they do appear larger on your feet than your everyday shoe but that's to be expected. From my initial impression I would recommend this boot and praise Zappos for the quickest mail delivery possible at no charge.

Looks like a solid; well made and styled boot that would do well in cold climate; winter environments. However, if a person has an issue that makes getting boots on their feet difficult, it is hard to recommend this item.

Really comfortable boots! Tight getting in at first, but once in and laced up, these boots can be worn all day long! I replaced a pair of size 11 Columbia boots, got a size 11, perfect fit!

I bought these for my boyfriend. We live at a ski resort and need good winter boots. He loves them. We just got three feet of snow in 2 days, and he is thrilled to have these boots. Enjoy!

Nice looking boot. Haven't tried them in the snow yet (there isn't any) but for rainy days and I have kept them on in the office and my feet don't sweat or get too hot. They look heavy but aren't bad. I walk to work overseas and they have good traction. I am happy with my purchase and this product so far.

Excellent boot. I have worn it through two hunting seasons and winters now. They still are like new except the scratches from tick brush/rocks. Very warm, a little too warm until it gets into the low 20's. Feet sweat and then get cold so have to change socks every few hours.

I've spent lots of time in Sorels in my life. I worked 40hours/week in these for 5 months a winter. These are warm enough any definitely waterproof to a point. They feel more like hiking boots and have a sole like more like a mountaineering boot rather than a sloppy slip-on winter boot. good for hiking hills. This is my second pair in 2 years but the first ones are not even worn out or ripped at all. Strap is useless. I highly recommend these. The black ones are the best.

These things are stompers. The ankle buckle seems a little pointless in my mind but others may like it for whatever reasons. I wear a 14 everything and this boot felt like a 15 even though it said 14 on it. I sent it back for a 13.

I have owned these boots since 2000 and have worn them every winter without fail. I bought them when I worked construction in Boston as a surveyor. I stood on freezing cold concrete every day as well as dragged my gear through partially frozen mud, water and muck. These boots have kept me unbelievably warm, comfortable and dry for 10 years of utter abuse. The same pair. I can't say enough about how great this product is.

This is my second pair of this same boot....not because it wore out, but I out grew the old pair...they are awesome.

Living near Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake it gets very cold in the winter. The first couple of months we have lake-effect snowfall and I wanted boots that would keep my feet warm while I shoveled the white stuff. My Sorels do the trick, whether it is 1 inch of snow or 1 foot of snow my feet still stay warm. Last week we had our annual winterfest with the temperature around 12 degrees. I was outside for 3 hours and my feet stayed warm throughout the event, thanks to my Sorels.

Great boots. I love the synch chord on the top of the boots to keep the snow out. Boots are great for snowshoeing. They are warm and rugged. Easy to walk in. They fit great to my feet and aren’t "swishy" like some winter boots. Lots of laces and a snap to keep the boots perfect fit!

These boots are by far the best boots I have ever purchased. They are the only boots my husband will wear. We live in the Adirondacks and it tends to get well below zero with the wind chill. These boots not only keep his feet warm, but they keep them dry and they are very stylish. These boots are a must-have if you are looking to please the man in your life. This is the third pair he\'s owned. They are rugged and very reliable!

Good shoe for the price that Zappos offers, which is the best price along with their customer service. I purchased a size 10 D width, but should have gotten a size larger taking into account that I would be wearing thick sweat socks. Relatively a light boot and not too heavy, but heavy duty were it counts, which is the bottom hard rubber layer and sole.

Got these to replace cheap snow boots I\'d had too long and love them. Size feels right (in 13 men\'s) and they are warm and comfortable.

I purchased these boots for my husband and he just loves them. In Iowa, we get a lot of snow and he said not once has his feet gotten cold while out shoveling and snowblowing.

These boots are great! I've worn them all winter long while shoveling snow from rooftops. Totally waterproof and very warm. The gaiter on top works reasonably well, but not as well as real gaiters. The ankle strap doesn't stay tight, or even do anything anyway. The sole tread is very aggresive, I didn't really slip at all. The black leather can be waxed. My only complaint is about the laces. They come untied easily even after double and triple knots. I'll probably get another winter out of these. Keep them waxed and they'll last a lot longer.

Really please with this boot. As most other reviewers suggested, I ordered it half a size larger. It's very comfortable and built in gaiters keep the snow out. My only complaint is the lacing system. It would have been nice if Sorel had built-in in a captive eyelet at the ankle so you can tighten the foot portion before tightening up the rest of the boot. Without it, you end up struggling with the laces to keep them tight.

I had a pair since Christmas in Edmonton Canada where temperatures dropped to -25 celsius. My feet were toasty warm and had no complaints. However, the boot is difficult to put on as it does not have the quick tie eyelets like some other boots. I think if this is corrected, it would be perfect.

These stopped being waterproof after a year. Water now seeps in over the top of the foot.

They're warm and keep out the water but after walking in these boots for an hour, my ankles hurt so badly that it took several hours to recover. I tried wearing them for a few more days but eventually could not tolerate the pain any more. Now I'm afraid to put them on again.
