Purchased for my daughters first year in High School. She is still growing and not as tall as she will be. Bought it in July prior to school and by Christmas the right shoulder strap was beginning to pull away from the base of the pack. By February I saw it necessary to return. Returning was simple but I disagree with the shipping costs being deducted of my reimbursement. I would not have had to return it if it wasn't defective. I then had to call for my "24" ecard. I showed it was received by Northface on 17th and by the 23rd I still had not received my ecard. My daughter loves North Face so we will try a more expensive backpack a little bit bigger. This one she says was not the size she had hoped for. If it doesn't work I can give a shout out to Eddie Bauer bags. My oldest went through 4 years of college with the same bag and it she traveled with it as well. Super made. If this next North Face doesn't work... I will insist my youngest by from eddie Bauer.

I use this backpack mostly for school. I ride public transportation and wanted something sturdy, roomy and in a color that wouldn't show when it got dirty. This backpack delivered! I have also used it to pack my clothes in for a weekend and it was the perfect size. It is durable yet fashionable. The gray color with the light purple accent is a great color combination. I am so happy with my new backpack!

Bought this for my daughter because she had shoulder pain. She loves this backpack.

Great backpack for school with nice back padding

I use this backpack in school. It holds my laptop, iPad and folder. It still has room to include my launch. So you have everything you need in one bad.

This backpack is good for school. Also it is great for hiking, when you need a study break and need to get back with mother nature and see her beauty. I also use this bag for travel. This bag is stylish but also can handle a lot from my school books to my hiking gear. All around I give this bag five stars and recommend it to anyone who is going to school or who wants to take on the world.

Bought this for my middle school daughter to use as a book-bag. She loves the look, and other than wishing it had a few more pockets, she thinks it's the best book-bag she's ever had (she usually goes through 2-3 per school year because she's tough on them lol). This one looks like it should last maybe more than one school year (hope so)!

Use it daily for work items

I love using this bag for school! It's both fashionable and useful. It holds what I need for FOUR courses. Additionally, there are tons of easily accessible pockets for things that I need (pens, hand cream, gum, etc.), without getting lost!

I got this for my sister, she's is in the 6th grade and carries a lot of books. She loves it.

I school the product for school, it helps me with my back pain. I can fit so many things inside, it still doesn't feel heavy! I love it.

I use this backpack as my school backpack and it's working great! I'm planning on taking it with me while I study abroad in New Zealand and using it to hold things while we go hiking there.

I use this product for school and I absolutely love it! The straps are very comfortable which is important since I am walking around on a college campus. It fits all of my books and notebooks and the laptop sleeve is great. The only thing that's weird about it, is the inside slot for pencils, pens, etc is in the big compartment and not the small one in the front. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this to anyone!

I use this as a gym bag and as a backpack for grad school and it is great. I love the pattern but I do wish that there was one more small zipper pocket on the front of the bag.

This was a really comfortable backpack but I was looking for something bigger for school. This is perfect if you won't be carrying too many books.

I have only started using this bookbag for about two weeks and I love it! It's actually more lightweight from my previous North Face and I feel like I get more use of my current, newer one than my other one. I love the colors of the bookbag and it's very comfortable to wear transitioning to class, but I would also use it to go on hike trips as well. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

Great backpack for college!!! Comfortable and perfect size!!!

I would definitely purchase this item again. It is very comfortable and easy to use. I have enough room for all of my books and my laptop as well with the help of the laptop compartment that's built in. My new bookbag makes carrying all of my books around campus!

When I first got the backpack I thought it was kind of long and bulky. Being a handbag kind of girl, I usually use my longchamp to go to college with large Nursing books. My shoulders basically gave up and decided to get the Jester. When I filled it with my school stuff and carried it, I was very amazed! The weight of my stuff was evenly distributed, and the paddings on the back of the Jester was perfect. I am a 5'2'' tall girl and this bag does not look bulky at all!!! Looking forward to maybe getting a different color as well. I got the all black one, and I absolutely love it. Great quality, well padded, and very well designed.

The backpack is overrall really good. I use it for school and I carry a lot of books/binders and its still super light weight

I use this backpack for college, it is absolutely ideal as it is adjustable and the size is perfect. Laptop has a separate compartment and helps fit more books than my previous northface back back. The front pocket fits everything including my lunch which is perfect because then I don't habe to carry it in my hand! It is waterproof and very trendy!

I originally had a Vera Bradley backpack and my things got soaked in it, and there was no padding. This backpack is soo comfortable and way cheaper than Vera Bradley's backpacks. The laptop sleeve is convienent and protective! I tell all my friends to purchase this bag !

I bought this because my thirty-one backpack I had fell apart, and I love it! The laptop slot has excellent padding and there's enough room to store all of my books for the day. The front pouch is great! It has tons of slots for storage. My only complaint is the straps are a bit bulky from the padding, which is good, but they can be uncomfortable at times.
