I bought this for use while I'm on campus and it's perfect for that. I love the suspended laptop sleeve so my laptop doesn't hit the bottom. There are pocket for anything and everything. Very spacious. Great buy.

I bought 2 backpacks for my girls. One is in 8th grade and the other is a sophomore. There is so much room in the backpacks, plus so many places to put their items. This is our first time getting backpacks at Northface, but I have heard nothing but good things.

I love this backpack! Perfect size for overseas carry-on - understated outward appearance with a feminine touch, enough organizational pockets without getting crazy. I really like the outside front pocket for easy access items.

I got this backpack as a gift from my husband for my return to school. I had previously been using his North Face Cornis for men; this new womens backpack design is such a difference in fit for my body. The straps feel so much better packing around heavy books. Highly recommend. Your back will thank you.

This product is great! I ordered it for school this year and it has just the right amount of space in it, a place for my laptop, notebooks and utensils. My sister also has the same model and has for 3 years and it's still in great condition.

I loved the color of the backpack online but when I got it the color didn't look anything like it did on here.

This bag have great back support. That is very important to me because my job requires me to carry alot of bags

I use my recon North Face for college, I absolutely love it! It is so durable and I love that it has a laptop pocket, it's much more convenient than having to carry a case around. I also love the comfort that it comes with, so if you have a lot of books like me your back won't hurt as bad. I love all the colors but I especially love the teal one I bought. I would defiantly recommend this bookbag for someone who is looking for a good one to use!

I recently purchased this bookbag for my freshman year of college and so far I love it! I ordered the zinc grey and surf green color and it is perfect! So far it has held everything that I need for class and I still have room! The fleece lined tablet, laptop, and technology pockets are very nice and protects all of my things well. The front stash pocket is great for carrying around a rain jacket too for that GA weather! FYI this bookbag does repel rain fairly well however some water does drip in through the zippers but all of my electronics were kept dry. The reason why I'm giving this bookbag 4 stars out of 5 is because the padding on the back is a bit stiff along with the straps, but I'm sure that this problem will resolve with some time and use of the bookbag. Bottom line this bookbag is great for college and is worth the extra money. I am confident that it will last for a couple of years.

My 14 year old 8th grader ordered this bag because he lost out on Boraleaus bag my 12 year old ordered (didn't want the same bag). He's actually glad he ordered it. It looks cooler in person. He likes the exterior pocket and the inside had a nicer layout if you watch the video. He likes the rounded bottom because it will hold more stuff. (our school dishes out the homework). It's really a nice, heavyweight material and is so much nicer than previous name brand bags he's had. This should last him several years as long as it stays in style and North Face is great about that. Definitely worth the price and Zappos was fab about the overnight delivery as usual.

Comfort was great, never sweated along back area, pockets were just the correct size and easy to manage. Bought this for traveling to San Francisco and knew it would need to carry jackets, DSLR Camera, reading glasses and more. It was fantastic. Worked great as a carry on for the plane, took on bicycle ride, Segway Ride and everywhere I when. Strongly recommend buy the North Face Recon Backpack.

I use the Recon Backpack at High School. I am a 10th grade student, and have @25lbs of books to carry. The Recon is comfortable, and it makes my heavy load easier to transport from one class to another and home again.

I just started nursing school and needed a backpack that could carry all of my books and that would last. I ordered it in surf green, and I absolutely love the color! I also love the protected compartments for your phone, computer, etc.
