After 20 minutes walking in wet grass socks wet. These are my 4th pair of white ledge boots. The 1st 2 pairs were faultless until the soles purely wore out. The next type were OK and waterproof but goretex web detached before boots wore out, but I wear them all day everyday, for gardening, diy and general work. The new walking boots leak from new, not in heavy weather, just wet grass walking the dog.

Okay, so when I got these boots, I was super excited about them. I have had a pair of Timberland boots since high school that have served me well, and these looked just as good as those ever did.
I took them out for a backpacking trip: 11 miles in and 11 miles out. Okay... that was too much for their first trip, but the aftermath was horrible! It took about 3 weeks for my ankles to recover. The padding is so thick around the ankles that it actually caused Achilles Tendonitis from the lack of flexibility and stiffness.
Once my ankles were back to normal, I tried them again. This time, I made sure to keep the boots loose, since I really wanted these boots to work for me. But, only about 5 minutes into the trail (no elevation) I had to swap them for the sandals I had along with me, because the pain had returned just by wearing the boots.
The only solution I can see is tossing these. Better luck with another boot. The boots are great, but they've got one serious Achilles heel.

We were so excited for these 14" tall boots but believe the reviews -- they're sized small. My daughter has at least 3 other pairs of Timbs in the same size (9) that fit her perfectly, but these were too small.

I have several pairs of Timberland shoes. These are the worst. Doesn't matter how loose I tie the laces, it kills the backside of my ankle.

This is my second pair purchase of the same boot. In doing so, I hoped the second pair would hold up better, not like to first pair which soles were giving way, as a support problem. Both right & left boots started leaning in a very awkward way causing in-proper and unsupported walking problem. Thinking I would have better luck with the second pair of the identical boot, was my fault. It turned out the next pair after approximately one year started coming apart from the sole, along the side. Where can one get justice anymore, and a fair deal with consumer products..?

It's funny I can get most of the items in Canada but you don't seem to have squat when I try to order them in the USA. What's up with that?

I bought two different styles of these boots and they both have the same issue with the heel on the left boot. For some reason it feels like it slopes a bit downward to the right and my heel seems to shift too much to the right and I'm constantly pushing it over. I tried putting some insoles in there, the timberland pro anti fatigue insoles, but that seemed to make it worse. They're also an entire thumbs width too big. I don't know if that's a half a size or a whole size off from my actual foot size. They just feel so poorly constructed like they're some kind of ultra cheep brand. First and last Timberlands I ever buy

This is the second pair of these that I had purchased because the first pair was a reliable pair of boots that served me well over miles of hiking. I am not sure what's changed, but both of these boots almost immediately starting to fall apart entirely - the entire sole separating around both boots. Highly recommend you don't purchase these.

I like the boots but unfortunately they are not waterproof at all. After using them to walk in wet grass while doing field training with my dogs my socks are totally wet and so is the boot inside and out. it also takes days for it to dry out. I dont understand how they can claim these are waterproof boots

This is at least the 3rd pair of White Ledges that I have purchased and I am very disappointed that they are so small. I do not feel awesome trying to wear them.

59 year old male that has used these for exercise. The uppers are nearly unblemished. The soles have holes worn through simply from walking. The soles tread was won through within 9 months of use. The inner soles are visible through spots in the outer sole. Complete trash as to the sole construction.

This pair was made in Cambodia.

Hurt the top of my right foot everytime I wore them. Sole was also hard as a rock on both shoes. Bought a shoe stretcher and kept it in right boot for a full month. Tried to wear them and was no improvement. This was my 2nd pair. First purchase was fine . Very disappointed.

I purchased boots at Lake George location 2 to 3 months ago and they are very uncomfortable. Causes major heel ache. Painful to wear even with only light field work. Timberland quality is declining.

This is the second pair of these boots where the toe guard has come loose after only 2 weeks of use. Now we have a nice little toe flap that collects debris. Poor quality adhesive in toe guard.

After only 4 months the sole of the right sole has started to separate from the shoe. These shoes were very comfortable, however the lack of quality in the product has given me cause not to recommend to recommend this specific product.

Shoe was not in the original package, product seems to be used. Not satisfied with the overall look. Scratches dirt and worn signs.
