Unfortunately even ordering the wide size was still too narrow. Will have to look to see if a double wide is available.

These look great and have proven to be very comfortable and durable. Unfortunately they are not waterproof. About a half hour of shoveling snow and my feet were soaked.

I ordered EE on size 13 for my hubby. He tried it right away but it was a lot narrower for the EE width. You would think it would be wide enough for an EE. Good news is return shipping is free and never had a problem when it comes to returning merchandise.

In terms of size the shoe felt accurate but the width was a joke. It was very tight and I could barely get my foot into the shoe because of it. I wear a EE. Would not recommend this shoe if you have wide feet.

Ordered a 9.5 - medium width, the box was marked as such but the boots felt very tight. They were ordered to replace the exact boot in a 9.5 medium that I use for work. I put them on and they were too narrow. I checked the boots and the size showed they were a 9.5 but the width was not marked. I match them up sole to sole with my old boots and the soles were clearly 1/4 inch narrower. I also noticed the old boots were made in Vietnam (appeared to be a higher quality) and the new boots were made in China (they just didn't appear to be as well made). Very disappointed that the quality of this boot has really taken a nose dive. I guess I'm on the search for a new boot.
I do want to say that I am a longtime customer and ZAPPOS is an excellent company to deal with and that my poor experience with these particular boots does nothing to change that. I will order from them again, but it wont be for these boots.

These Timberland boots were an overall loose fit, however, I do have a slightly narrow foot, but they were too long as well. I wear a size 10 medium and usually don't have any issues buying this size online.
I thought the tongue material was cheap, it wrinkled and folded when I tried to tighten the laces. The back of the boot was very stiff and uncomfortable up against my ankle.
I returned these boots after trying them on in exchange for a different brand.

I've heard a lot about TIMBERLAND but I hope these are not typical. On the very first time I tried to lace them up, the top hook pulled rightr out of the boot when I was tightening the laces down. I didn't over tighten, just normal like anyone would to get a comfortable fit. The hooks are CHEAPLY riveted in place and will never in a million years last very long. I will look MUCH MUCH closer on the workmanship from this legendary company. I am much preferring both Keen and Danner. A bit more $$$ especially Danner but there is NO COMPARISON in the quality. NOT EVEN CLOSE !!! Both Danner and Keen are right here in Portland where I live. Maybe thats why QUALITY is JOB ONE ! Keeping Portland WEIRD !
I'd also recommend:
If $$$ are not concern, DANNER. On a little bit of a budsget, KEEN amkes THE GREATEST shoes EVER !!

The boots look good and are comfortable enough. I bought these at the end of April (2016) to replace some very worn out Columbia hiking boots that were my primary walking footwear across NYC and through several international trips. The point is, I walk. A lot.
As of July 2016, during a week of Scout camp, the Timberlands' upper began separating from the sole up near the front part of the arch. I found out the hard way that this has compromised the waterproofing. It's not bad yet, but it will get worse. While I wasn't specifically looking for waterproof boots, I saw the good reviews of these and decided to take a chance on a different brand. I am nevertheless disappointed that they've failed so quickly.

I bought these boots for my 15 year old son to wear to school and around in our long, cold Maine winters. He really loved the boots. I am disappointed in them however, he fell one day running for the bus, and the entire side of one boot blew out. He got duct taped boots for the rest of the winter, and I am not pleased with the quality.

I felt like the shoes were too small - I'm a 12-to-13 depending on what sort of shoe, but these might as well have felt like an 11. They're lightweight and my wife commented on how good they looked, but I never really had the opportunity to road-test them.

This product had a design defect, which was a hard and rough inside, and with a rough middle seam above the toe area. It was fine walking in the house, but on short walk I found it painful in the toe area, even with heavy bike socks and had to put a Band-Aid on one toe. It is not recommended.

Very comfortable and lightweight boot. However, they are advertised as waterproof and fail that test miserably. I walk early morning, and boots (and socks) are soaked when finished from just occasional dew on the grass.

Barley lasted 2 years without the sole undoing itself from the leather. The sole still got alot of thread left too but its looking like the whole sole is going to unglue itself.
I bought boots from here and it used to last me years without the boot sole coming off. These are looking like it'll come off in half a year. I will be looking for a different brand of work/hiking boot since the quality has dropped.

Cushioning at top is extrememely uncomfortable, hard as a rock gave me black & blue marks around upper ankle areas.. taking them to a shoemaker to see if he can cut the whole top of the boot o ff..

I had the White Ledge boots and wore them to falling apart! The perfect work boot! Decided to try these and can barely walk after 10 minutes! Extremely painful on ankle bone but since they are worn cannot return. What a waste! The white ledge were super comfortable and perfect! These look nice but are a huge no

After 20 minutes walking in wet grass socks wet. These are my 4th pair of white ledge boots. The 1st 2 pairs were faultless until the soles purely wore out. The next type were OK and waterproof but goretex web detached before boots wore out, but I wear them all day everyday, for gardening, diy and general work. The new walking boots leak from new, not in heavy weather, just wet grass walking the dog.

Okay, so when I got these boots, I was super excited about them. I have had a pair of Timberland boots since high school that have served me well, and these looked just as good as those ever did.
I took them out for a backpacking trip: 11 miles in and 11 miles out. Okay... that was too much for their first trip, but the aftermath was horrible! It took about 3 weeks for my ankles to recover. The padding is so thick around the ankles that it actually caused Achilles Tendonitis from the lack of flexibility and stiffness.
Once my ankles were back to normal, I tried them again. This time, I made sure to keep the boots loose, since I really wanted these boots to work for me. But, only about 5 minutes into the trail (no elevation) I had to swap them for the sandals I had along with me, because the pain had returned just by wearing the boots.
The only solution I can see is tossing these. Better luck with another boot. The boots are great, but they've got one serious Achilles heel.

We were so excited for these 14" tall boots but believe the reviews -- they're sized small. My daughter has at least 3 other pairs of Timbs in the same size (9) that fit her perfectly, but these were too small.

I have several pairs of Timberland shoes. These are the worst. Doesn't matter how loose I tie the laces, it kills the backside of my ankle.
