I would normally rate a five but this time my regular size is snugger on my foot. Not sure if it is a difference in manufacturing. My old ones were made in a different country than the new ones.
I had them stretched and they are fine but I never had to do that before.
I would and will buy these again. Love them and like the tan Color for summer!

I originally bought these to climb a steep bank to mow but I like them too much to use for that. I'll buy a second pair for that purpose. I really like the boot.

Rigid sides rubbed against my ankles. Even after undoing laces it still hurt my ankles, yikes. Too uncomfortable to wear for any purpose.

Have just tried them on at this point, need to start breaking them in on short trail hikes. Seem very stiff out of the box.

I bought these for work and literally have to wear them everyday. It does not leave my feet fatigued at the end of long days. Comfortable and easy to wear all day, everyday

I bought my first pair when they were on sale at a brick and mortar retailer. I was not expecting too much, but the price was too good to pass up. Since then I have bought many pair. I have bought as many as 4 pair at a time when I find them on sale. They are among the most comfortable shoes that I can find. I wear them as a daily shoe and for day hikes. I have worn them on hikes in the Smoky Mountains with a rucksack of up to 8 miles without any problems. My more typical hikes are 3 to 5 miles 5 to 7 days a week. They are reasonably water proof, but my feet do get wet in a steady rain. They tend to last me about 6 months of daily wear, and then the soles wear and become uncomfortable. I just plan on buying at least two pair per year.

Buying (non-tennis or running) shoes for my small foot size is always a gamble. Bought these in size 8 to match my running shoes, and surprisingly they fit just right. Spent hours in the yard and garage on the first day with these and didn't have any issues breaking them in, or any weird rubbing. Good grip - no slipping walking over piles of sawdust or going up and down a ladder. Have not tried them in wet conditions yet, but expect good results.

Comfortable after first day of breaking them in. Great comfort on the inside and don't hug tight. They work great outside and are even useful for standing on concrete all day. They are very durable and seem to last a while.

These boots are great and an excellent value. I have bought multiple pairs over the years (so yes, I would recommend without reservation). They are very comfortable, need very little "breaking in" and stand up to constant use. I wear them everyday, moderate dog walking both on the road and hiking trails. I hunt in them during warmer weather and have taken various pairs of them on multi-day backing trips (Denali, Enchantments, parts of the AT). On average, they last me about 8 months of everyday use (the soles wear out and the interior lining gets holes before any real failures). They provide adequate support for hiking/backpacking and great traction when new. They are waterproof but I do SnowSeal them after about 6 months of heavy use. My only complaint is the laces; unless you tie them very tight they tend to come undone. I gave them a 3 for style based on my teenager's comment that "They are not the coolest Timberland boots out there..."

These boots take awhile to break in but are very comfortable after. Love the look and they are seemingly nice quality. Unfortunately these did not last they only were worn for about two months before showing a lot of wear. They started falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone working in the trades. My fiancé is a union carpenter and these did not make it long.
