Just took 'em out of the box and did a quick 21/2 miles on and off road, and let me tell you that the men's Timberland White Ledge performed admirably. Wonderful shoe!

Scale 1-10? 10. I continued to hear ringing in my mind's ear " If they don't feel 'good' in the store... DON'T BUY THEM." They were tight in a 'D' width and with no half size up available, I reordered this 'E' width. Happy now. ?

people will comment on how good they look. Where did I get them? How much, they look expensive.They look good with casual jeans>skinny ect.

I just happened on my first pair of these, without doing a lot of research. They worked out great. They lasted me for 10 years of hard use; I'm on my second pair.
Very comfortable, with essentially no break-in period, but still a good amount of support.

When I opened the box, it looked like it had been repackaged. The left shoe was tied all the way to the top. The right was only tied about 2/3 of the wash up. Booth boots were stuffed with paper but the left looked like it had been removed and torn and stuffed back in different than the right. It looks like a little little wear on the sole.

Fantastic boot!! Really is waterproof submerged my foot in water to test. You will feel no rocks or anything if you step on them. Also just wear them like normal boot.

I have had a pair of these for two years and wore them nearly everyday. Hiking, work, puddles, it stands up against the elements extremely well while providing good ankle support. I have found that the rubber on the toe separates from the leather after a lot of use, could be glued back.
