I wanted a "dressy" sneaker for sightseeing in foreign countries, to avoid looking ready for the gym. The leather is good quality, not smooth kind of pebbly. My usual size had to go back for a half size smaller. Zappos service great as always.

These shoes are awesome. I have wide feet but I've never had a problem with Converse and these babies are no different. Stylish and comfortable. Hard to keep 'em white, but a little dirty never hurt.

My 13 year old loves these. The leather stays looking better than the canvas ones her friends have. They were comfortable from the moment they went on and for all the days at school. Cute to see the fashion from my middle school is still around!

These are very comfortable and true to size. I bought them for a trip to London, knowing that I would be doing a lot of walking on cement. I am not able to do that any more without really padded and supportive footwear but I think running shoes for street wear is so unattractive! These were much more stylish and could accommodate my custom orthotic arch supports. Zappos service, as always, was superb.

Great shoes! On my second pair go great with everything. Leather make them a little more durable and easy to clean. I get compliments all the time from young and old.

These shoes are fantastic and feel great and true to size. I have flat feet and I have experienced no problems after a few weeks of wearing them. I do wear no-show socks with them. I like them so much that I just ordered the Jack Purcell leather Post Applied Ox (whatever that means) in navy.

Great shoe. Size wise it seems to run maybe a half size large. I wear 10.5 in most athletic shoes and actually a 9 in Chuck Taylors but the Jack Purcell seems more true. I ordered a 10 and it's perfect. The footbed is way nicer than my Chuck's as it is extremely comfortable. The leather is a must as the white canvas is impossible to keep clean.

Love these shoes. I have descended arches, so I use arch support anyway, but for someone with normal arches the support should be adequate. Leather is definitely the way to go. Easier to clean than canvas, worth the extra money.

I love these shoes. I was concerned about the sizing, but ordered the women's equivalent and they fit fine. I prefer the leather over the canvas as they stay clean and receive a ton of compliments on how cute they are.

I am in love with this shoe. I love how it is simple but yet very stylish.Very comfortable. I wear with no show socks to give the now sock summer time look. Very versatile as I can wear with khakis, jeans and shorts. Definitely will be purchasing in other colors. A must have for spring and summer.

LOVE my Jack's! They run big so my 8.5 was an 8. Zappos is a customers Dream to work with. Easy exchange and you speak to a live body without a call tree screening. Great prices too.

Very comfortable shoes. Seem to have a little more padding than your average Chucks! Well made and easy to clean (magic eraser will save these).

I love my leather Jack Pucells. My daughter has the canvas, and she loves hers too. I ordered the wrong size and Zappos was terrific with the return. They made it easy and got my new order quickly. Their staff is quite helpful. True to size, women's 7.5, worked best for me.

Very cute looking, looks great with almost any clothes and it doesn't look cheap although they are white because they are leather material but they hurt my heel so much that I bleed when I wore them for the first time. I'm sure they will get softer and will be fine. Overall, I really like the shoes.

I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 in sneakers, but sized down to an 8 in these. I was looking for a Converse type sneaker but with a a preppier vibe and these were perfect. I've only worn them a couple of times, but those wears included traveling and lots of walking and they were comfortable.

I've been wearing these shoes for 38 years; and nothing else will do. My latest pair are due to my feet growing a size bigger. Nothing else wears like J. Purcell leather shoes.

Fantastic sneakers, they come in around 1/ 2 a size smaller than I would say your regular sneakers. But these are the perfect kind of sneakers for all occasions, they look awesome even with a suit!

These are my favorite go-to tennies. I have worn them since I was a kid. I was thrilled when they finally came out with the leather version as I tend to prefer leather over canvas. They look great with almost anything and are a nice casual shoe to have on hand.

Awesome shoes! I've been buying this style in canvas for a long time and thought I'd try the leather. The leather is not stiff at all and seems warmer than the canvas. The slightly shiny quality gives it a little more class, if a sneaker can have such a thing.
