My New Favorite. A great boot. No need to buy a size down ( which sometimes happens to me in boots). What surprised me about these is in addition to being super warm and waterproof they are totally comfortable, not clunky or big. These are sure to be my new favorites - so far they've exceeded my expectations for a functional winter boot. They're comfy, cute, and you can't of course beat The NorthFace quality!

Nice Boots - I am very pleased with my perchase. The quality seems to be very good. I have never worn this particular brand before, and hope that this pare of boots will last long. The only thing I worry about is that the boots feel heavy. The delivery was very fast. Thanks a million!!!

Best Ever Winter Boots! Imagine it has just snowed another 18" and the windchill is 33 degrees below zero. Time to go out and plow the driveway to go to work. These boots will keep you warm and dry! Good traction,and nice side zip to get in and out of easily. I'm almost looking forward to the first snowfall. Almost.

I was hoping these boots would not be heavy - they are. They are heavy and inflexible, but they do a wonderful job at keeping my feet warm & dry, like no other boots I've owned.

This seems nice and warm and has a very substantial non-slip sole. But I agree with the other reviewers -- your heel does slip up and down inside this boot.

This is my fourth winter in Chicago (I’m a Southern girl). I had to break down and buy some warm waterproof boots because my beloved Uggs were getting soaked through when I cleaned off my car and trudged through the snow. These boots are definitely waterproof. I stepped in a deep puddle of icy slush, and my feet were bone dry. I walked through pretty deep snow for 10 minutes and didn’t have any leakage at all. It’s nice that there are a few inches of rubber (or whatever it is) underneath the boot to raise your foot above whatever you’re walking through. Great traction on ice. I love the boots except for one problem: they REALLY rub my shins/calves above my ankles when I walk and chafe my skin. I’ve been wearing the socks I normally wear with my other boots, but because the top of this boot is wider, it doesn’t keep the socks pulled up and ends up exposing my skin. This chafing has happened whether or not I’ve had my pants tucked in. I think I can live with it because I haven’t found any other good looking, warm, waterproof boots, but I’m going to have to figure out a way to keep my legs more comfortable when I wear them. I’d still recommend them. I like that the zip makes them easy to get into and out of. There’s also a pull loop on the back of the heel to help you pull the boots on. They do feel a little like moon boots, but that’s part of the fun! They have loosened up in just a day or two. I’m a true 8 and ordered an 8.5 because that’s all they had. It feels about right. My foot isn’t flopping around in there, but it’s not too tight either.

These were great. I'm very happy I ordered them when I did with all the snow we are now getting! They are very comfortable and light for snow boots. I usually wear a 9 and I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfectly, so you may want to order a half size up.

This is a great boot for ladies that live in the north country! For those coming off Sorels (which are good but very clunky) these are an improvement in maneuverability. After reading reviews, I order it a size larger. I am keeping them, but probably could have done with the half size larger in light weight socks. These are a little snug across the the instep just above the toes, but will still accommodate a heavy sock without a problem. The length is fine!

Attractive boot, but like other reviews, it is very stiff and hard to get used to walking in. It definitely runs small, order at least a half size up, maybe even a whole size.

Good knocking around snow boot - I ordered a half size larger based on the reviews and it was too big. My usual size fit fine. This boot is nice and warm, soft inside, and has excellent water protection. It is pretty easy to get on and off. It is quite stiff, so I would not want to do a lot of walking around in it and driving in it is a bit challenging. It's not uncomfortable, but you can't flex at the ankle. If what you want is something to throw on quickly and walk short distances in, this is a great choice.

Great quality, average comfort - These boots definitely stand up to the elements & keep your feet nice & warm in snow & slush. They are VERY stiff, so I don't hike long distances in them, but for the price, they are a great deal. I heeded other comments & bought a half size larger, definitely a good idea. I probably would've even gone a whole size larger if I wanted to wear thick socks with them. The zipper is a very nice convenience, too. I would buy them again if these ever wear out.

Rugged and warm - I spent a long time searching for the right boot. I'm not doing anything glamorous like climbing or hiking, but rather shoveling, cleaning off snow-bound cars, and maybe getting bundled up and taking a walk into town. I wanted something that kept me warm, dry, and looked halfway decent. I also wanted boots with a zipper rather than dealing with snowy, wet laces. These really fit the bill. The only suggestion I have is that you MAY want to go a half size up, especially if you plan on wearing very thick socks with these. I'm a true 7.5, which is what I ordered, and they are a bit snug so I just wear thin socks. But they fit well enough that I didn't bother returning them. All in all, these are going to last me a long time and I'm really happy with the quality.

Great boots - I thought they were awesome!! Very warm and exactly what I was looking for!

Very warm and not heavy - I really like this boot a lot. It is pretty stiff at first so getting it on and off is not that easy. But it is very warm and pretty light so I do not feel like I have huge boots on. They also do not look like "industrial" boots, so you could wear them out and not feel foot heavy.

Wife loves the boot - My wife loves the boot. She says that The North Face's Greenland Zip is a very nice boot. Very warm and comfortable. Top was a little stiff when they first arrived but have broken in nicely after having worn them some.

Great Buy - It took several tries to find the right size, but overall I think it runs just a tad small in width so buy a half size larger than your normal size. Took the boot skiing and loved it. Great comfort and warmth.

Haven't had a chance to romp around in the snow, but they have a great deal of padding and ankle support. Great looking boot.

Heavy & cumbersome - The boot is waterproof and great for wearing outdoors to shovel snow, etc. I didn't feel comfortable driving in them or going for long hikes as they are not very flexible. They are very rigid and cumbersome. I am keeping them because they are convenient to throw on quickly and easily if the dog wants to go out, or if I have to shovel.

Winter Boots - These boots are so cute! I really like them. I think the sizing runs about a half size too small but I returned my pair quickly and SOOO easily! Zappos was really great about helping me get the size I needed with no shipping charges!

You just need this boot for all your winter needs - First...I'm still amazed at how fast Zappos ships...! Got these boots in white today (after considering the brown)...very hot! Everything is absolutely excellent...the traction is amazing, the inner spring of the tread, the warmth is outstanding and you definitely DON'T need any kind of socks for these. The shaft seems to be a little rigid, but I'm sure that it can be broken in. The fit is just right and snug. Order your size and don't wear socks (you won't need them) or just very thin ones and you'll be just fine. Cheers for THE winter boot. Every other boot is left in the dust with these.

Great Boot and Great Price - I really like these boots, they are sooo warm and really soft & snuggly inside. They're a little stiff, but that's to be expected w/a snow boot. I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9, and the 9 worked for me in this boot. They are a little snug, but I think once the padding inside flattens out a bit, they'll be perfect. If you want to wear big thick socks w/this boot, definitely go a 1/2 to 1 size bigger. I wear thin socks w/mine. These boots have GREAT traction also...

A very cute boot - This boot is definetly as cute as it looks online. The fit is fine, a little stiff but comfortable. I would order up at least a half size especially if you plan on wearing thick socks.
