Great Boot! I bought these because we have moved to Kansas and the winter here is so much colder than where we moved from. My feet were always cold and I was slipping on the snow and ice, so I bought these boots and I'm so glad I did! I don't worry about carrying my seven month old son through the snowy parking lots anymore because I know these boots won't slide easily on the slushy snow and ice. They keep my feet very warm, dry and comfortable, and they aren't binding around the ankles, so there hasn't been any uncomfortable breaking in time.

The North Face Greenland Zip Boot - This boot is really nice. I got the "Dragon red" color which is really a "Redish Rust" which is even better. The boot is Very Warm, Completely Waterproof & The best part is NOT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT SLIPPING ON THE ICE!! They could be an inch or 2 taller. But they are good for up to a good 6" of snow with slush. I have a wide foot and they are a little snug in the middle but I think they will stretch "a little" after wearing them, If you have a wide foot or plan on wearing a heavy sock which is not necessary with these boots, you might want to get a 1/2 size bigger. I Live in The Bronx,N.Y., not the snowiest place but we get our share. I just ordered these boots 2 days before our 1st snow storm was due. I ordered them by phone on a Sunday afternoon and I rec'd them on Tuesday afternoon. The snow started Tuesday night. You can't ask for better service then that. We only got a couple of inches of snow but that was over and under plenty of ICE as it went down to the single digits overnight. No problem walking around in these boots. Zappos was great. Great boot – This is a great snow boot. Very warm and looks really cute on.

This is a beautiful looking and wearing boot...very warm. The lining makes it a little tight at first and hard to get in and out of, but it is an excellent choice for warmth in cold, wet snow.

Style and function is important. I ordered the Red boots and the White boots to do a side by side comparison on my feet. Both pairs looked big, like weatherproof winter boots do, but I thought the Red boots were cute, also looked more versatile and stylish than the White pair. The White boots were cute, but looked clunkier and reminded me of go-go boots from the 60's. I was concerned about them showing dirt sooner, so I will be returning the White pair. I ordered my regular size 8 and they fit well and compfortably with thin socks and my arch support orthodics. (If you need arch support, you will want orthodics or arch "cookies" for these boots). The fit will allow me to wear them without socks too, the lining is so soft, cushy, and warm. They are flexible and the shaft height allows my calf and ankle muscles to function, unlike taller boots that seem to restrict lower leg range of motion. I have to pull them off of my foot, but I wouldn't want them to be loose. Winter hasn't really hit east central Kansas yet so I don't know how these boots will do in rain/snow/slush. They look like they will be protective and look good doing it as well. As always, Zappos had fast delivery and an easy return process. Thanks for free shipping and returns!

Brilliant! Just like they look in the photo. Very comfy, waterproof. Size up if you are not sure, as you can wear thick socks with them.

great winter boot - Great looking boot! Cushiony and warm although a little stiff in the ankle area. The side zipper is short making them a little hard to get on at first. Zappos has the best service. Fast and accurate. I've ordered 3x's recently with one item going to a different address. All arrived quickly.

Snow came late, forced to wear these before it got here! Firstly, I got the red version which was downright beautiful. They are fairly heavy for extended walking and feel almost like ski boots at first (as far as range of motion goes) but they loosened up quickly and are now as comfortable to me as my regular tennis shoes. A pleasure to traipse through the snow in.

Good snow boot - These are nice, good quality, nice-looking. A little clunky, but what snow boot isn't?

Warm and cozy - This was a good choice for me based on where I live---Alaska. They are waterproof so my feet stay dry in the slush, warm enough to keep my feet warm when it is below zero, and comfortable enough that I might wear them even if the weather isn't bad. A good fit and the style is OK---nice enough I don't have to be embarrassed if I am actually seen wearing them, like some boots.

Cold days - I'm actually looking forward to the -40 days with these boots, they are so cute, fit perfect (I got a half size bigger so I can wear big socks), all and all I love them.

Warm and Rugged- These are great for shoveling or walking in snow. Warm and comfortable. In reading other reviews, I decided to buy 1/2 size larger because I wanted to wear socks. This worked out perfect for me.

Love these boots... These boots are extremely comfortable and warm. They are really cute too.

Best Boots Ever - These boots are great, they fit right too size and they are very comfortable and warm! My best friend kept trying to wear them in Vermont on our ski trip because she didn't like hers. She is actually trading hers in to get the Greenland zip ones! That should say it all! Buy these its worth it!

Great boot - These boots are very comfortable for a snow boot. The first wear was to a Chicago Bears football game and my feet were warm and comfortable the entire time! I also received 2 compliments on them at the game. They are a bit stiff, but not enough to be uncomfortable. The lining is soft, and the footbed is very cushioned. I'm very pleased with the quality of the shoe.

Love these boots - I have to take a very active dog out in very wet and rough fields. These boots have done the trick! Like some of the other reviewers stated- they are stiff and I look forward to them breaking in a bit more. But I feel confident to run on uneven terrain and feel warm and dry in all wet conditions. I do have to walk for miles and find this shoe, while comfortable a bit heavy. That said, I am very happy that I purchased them! I bought a half size up and feel with the right socks it works.

I got these boots for my daughter for Christmas. She needed something warm and waterproof and these seem to fit the bill. She said they were comfortable and she is very happy with them.

The North Face Greenland Zip - This is a cute and ultra comfortable boot. Do not pass it up, I bought them for our trip to Quebec, Canada It kept my feet extremely warm and dry in the cold with 3 feet of snow. I purchase the white/gray in 8 1/2 and found them to fit perfectly. This is definitely a keeper.

LOVIN' MY NEW BOOTS - If you are looking for a great winter boot, look no further. I spent a few weeks searching for a boot that is waterproof AND cute at the same time...very hard to do. :) This boot is very warm and will keep the snow and slush out, but you will still get compliments!

Warm and Cozy in the Great Outdoors - I loved the quick shipping (everyone's favorite thing to say in one of these reviews and there’s a reason!) And I love the boots. I will say that they are not what we'd call fashion forward. They're bulky and I found that the first three times I wore them, I needed thin or no socks and my big toe kept slamming into the toebox. Fourth time was a charm, however, and I can wear whatever socks I want now. Remember the first time you ever wore moon boots? Think the North Face's Greenland Zip - great for shoving your foot inside at 4am in -10* weather to take the puppy in housetraining out for a pee in the snow.

Awesome!! I can't say enough great things about this boot!! I ordered my regular size, they were slightly snug at first, but after just a couple days of wearing them, they were perfect! So far, I've worn them without socks, and they are incredibly comfortable. Never had a shoe or boot feel sooooooo good without socks! I have white/grey and they look great!! Order these, you won't be disappointed!

What a Wonderful Boot!!! I recently bought these boots for my trip to Vail, Colorado. The temperatures were between 10 and 35 and there were plenty of icy/slushy places. This boot was absolutely wonderful! They kept my feet very comfy, warm and dry. And no slipping on the ice! I normally wear a size 8. Based on the other reveiws I bought these in an 8 1/2 and they fit very well. The looks of them are nice too, not too clunky, yet not too cheap or lightweight. Overall I give these boots 5 stars.
