The customer service was great! I was able to know ahead of time that the work shoe my husband wanted was in stock. This was the only shoe he wanted and Zappos had it! We went to Zappos in Kentucky and it was awesome. I bought great shoes for a really low price. We will for sure be shopping Zappos again.

Zappos shipping and handling was awesome. I received my items next day. They were just what we expected & my husband says they are comfortable...important since they were bought for work! They made a great gift for him for Xmas. I also found that what I saw is what I got...the picture is well done and the color etc. is as shown.

Living in Belltown, Seattle, I walk everywhere and because I am a klutz my toes take impacts at least once a day. Then I found these. Comfortable enough to be your day to day shoes, and yet when I run my feet into a curb, I just shrug it off!I love them

Ordered size 11 first and found out they were to snug and returned. Placed another order for 11.5 and they arrived 2 days later. Best work shoe I have had, very comfortable for walking on concrete all day. Felt like my tennis shoes all day long and no break in pain. (I wear a 11.5 tennis shoe)

Best hard toe shoes ever had. Walk all day inspecting freight with over 150 doors. First pair of hard toe shoes that never hurt my feet from the first day worn. No need for any cushion either. No marking or slipping. Very light and strong.

I will place these as average. I have a wide foot and even the wide is not wide enough. I have had them for 2+ weeks now and still trying to break them in, my feet are sore and hope they feel as well as my $35 Walmart shoes did after two months. I will see if they ever break in. Overall I think they are manufactured well but my feet do not like them. Time will tell if they will conform to my feet.

I'm on my 11th pair of the Mudsill. My job requires a safety toe, slip and oil resistant sole. I put these shoes through extreme conditions, where others have failed quickly. The only reason that I have had to toss a pair out, is that I have worn down the aggressive sole. That is 11 pairs in 6 years. I also have a pair that I wear outside of work. I wouldn't trade these Timberlands for any other brand. They are comfortable from the showbox to the trash can. They are the best that I have found for work and every day wear.

Very light for steel toe shoes. Took about a week of breaking in, but now they are very comfortable. With some extra insoles, I can do 12 hour shifts standing all day, no problem. Also, when Zappos says next day delivery, they mean it. I ordered these at about 7PM one day and had them at my door the next day. No extra charge. Very impressive.

They lasted a year. I beat the heck out of my work boots and these were just okay. After about nine months, the inside back (back of my heel) came apart. I made them last a few more months before the inside of my right shoe was rubbing my foot raw. I will buy Timberland Pro boots again but I will not buy these again.

Good fit for a work-style shoe. Some slight contact on top of right toes with top of steel box. It is minor but still somewhat lowering the comfort number for me.

I love Timberland shoes. I've been buying them for years, both dress and casual. My experience, Timberland shoes are built well, fit well, provide great arch support, are aesthetically pleasing, and last for years. On the subject of Zappos, I've had nothing but good experiences with them; product delivered on time and with accuracy.

Just purchased pairs 7-8, (maybe 9-10), of the Mudsill Low. Can't remember. I buy, wear, and rotate my footwear in pairs. I swap the fancy laces out for 45" Kiwi Outdoor round/black. I swap the factory-paper-thin insoles out for Dr. Scholl's Active/Running series insoles. I straight-edge razor off the orange "Pro" logo, "blacken-up" the rest of the shoe with Kiwi black polish, and I'm good-to-go. I use Gold Bond medicated foot powder.
I'm not sponsored/endorsed by Timberland, Dr. Scholl's, or Gold Bond. I've worked for the largest/best LTL carrier in the U.S.. for fifteen years.
Composite/Safety/Steel Toe necessary? Yes.
The Mudsill is comfortable, right out of the box. Even more-so when you upgrade the insole . The sole lasts. Mudsill upper cleans up quickly with a dry brush. Occasional black shoe polish. Love the Mudsill.

This is my second pair of the Mudsill Low. My first pair lasted 10 years before finally wearing out. I’m a contractor and wear these every day for work. I like the fact that they are low (as opposed to a boot) but still have a steel toe. Overall, very comfortable shoes for long days working on your feet!

I have only had the shoes for about three weeks, but so I am very happy with them. Very little break in period if any. The run about a 1/2 size small so order at least a 1/2 size larger than you normally would. I would definitely buy them again.

Just like the last pair I bought years ago. Comfortable and looking like they'll do good for awhile.

I wear these in a manufacturing environment every day. They are comfortable, light, and durable. This is my second pair. I wore the soles off my first pair - no tread left. The rest of the shoe still stayed together and comfortable, unlike other safety shoes I've had.

I've worn these for about a month now. I went from the big heavy waterproof boots to these. I'm a service writer so I still need the steel toe but was able to shed to s of weight. These are very comfortable. Standing get on my feet all day is no problem with these. I've even used them hiking and the tread provides fantastic traction. The steel toe has a lot of room so you don't feel like your toes are trapped. I would buy these again in a heartbeat and 3 of my techs bought the same shoes and there are no complaints there

It's the only shoe I would ever buy from now on. They are good looking too.

I wear these shoes in the Rocky Mountains every day, and they lasted about a year. With moderate use I am sure they would last at least a couple of years. A great EH work shoe!

Great shoes, I worked on a flight line in Iraq, lots of walking and they have been good to me. I've had them for 2 years and they have worn a bit on the inside.

Sneaker was stylish but did not have arch support. Also, sneaker caused my feet to hurt. Did not seem to be the correct size.
