This is the best shoe I've ever purchased, and quite possibly the best shoe ever made. I have two jobs, both are pretty intense and require a lot of foot movement and abuse. I usually go through 3 or 4 pairs of shoes a year, but this pair has lasted about 1 year and 4 months. Pushing pianos up/over soggy or snowy terrain isn't an issue with these. It's like they become infused with the core of the earth, resulting in a solid stance. 2 problems with the design though. 1, the hook things that the top of the laces go around, they came partly out and it became hard to retie them. I had them set up so I never had to adjust them...just slip the shoe on and go. 2nd issue, the part that touches the Achilles area isn't very durable (unlike most of the shoe). After almost 16 months though, these are still very wearable and comfortable. It's time to semi retire them though. I'll keep them around for misc stuff.

The shoe is stiff and you feel it after a few hours of work. But the real problem for me is that after about a year of light duty, the sole separated from the shoe, and now I must glue it back on. I won't be buying Timberland again.

Like 'em. Usually my feet get pretty hot, but they have remained fairly cool in these. The grip is good and they're pretty comfortable as well.

The shoe looks even better in person! I loved the shoe and so got them for my husband who has wide feet (these do not come in wides). They bother him after wearing them for a long time, so if your feet are at all wide, then do not get these. He does still wear them, though!

Excellent shoe. Due to foot problems the other option to a work sneaker with steel toe would be surgery or medical appliance. Had part of my foot cut out already so I needed something that is presentable in professional environment but isn't a medical appliance. Note they run small and narrow but I upsized it and the customer service was great. Will definitely buy again. No it isn't built to last but Walmart boots at the same price point fell apart the day I bought them. I recommend these. Won't last forever but they are not designed to.

Fit and size was great; Steel toe works great - tested that out on the first day, probably saved a trip to the emergency room.

I love these shoes. They are super comfortable and I have no problem wearing 12 hours a day at work. I work in an auto shop and they have been great so far at repelling dirt, grease, and oil. Highly recommended!

Comfortable shoe once broken in. It's rough on your toes until they are though.

These are comfortable right out of the box, there was no break in needed, and they're a great fit. They offer good arch support and are fairly light for a steel-toe shoe. This is an excellent shoe for weekend warriors like myself. Zappos is excellent as always.

This is a really cool, rugged shoe! The first couple of days breaking them in is torture on the feet. Being a steel toe, you get a good calf workout after a long day at work. They're very stylish with an aggressive tread design.

Lighter than I expected it to be, which is great for work. Tough and durable shoe. The way the tongue was on one shoe was uncomfortable until broken in a little. Otherwise, it has a great arch support and is comfortable to wear.

Wow! They arrived in two days! I expected at least 4-5 days. They seem to have well-padded soles for standing on hard surfaces and for excellent traction on smooth floors. They felt a little snug, but I'm used to a pair of extremely worn shoes. They haven't been broken in yet and they seem well worth the purchase.

Zappos, keep up the good work. I am a big fan of Timberland Pro. This is the first pair of Timberlands I was not able to order a 13 and it fit perfectly. Of course Zappos made an easy exchange and sent a 13 EE which fit. I love the shoes as they are lighter and look better than the two pairs of Timberland Pro boots I currently have. The next time I need more work boots...Timberlands from Zappos!

This shoe is very comfortable. I am on my feet all day and this is a much lighter shoe with the protection of the steel toe and my feet feel cooler during the day.

Exactly as described and better. I love them and I don't say that very often.

When you must have a steel toe shoe, these are great. Comfortable all day right out of the box.
