Fairly comfortable shoe. I've bought them twice now. Tend to wear out from the inside with me, but the outer construction is very good.

I got just got an email saying I bought last year at this time. For some reason the right shoe is falling apart inside?

The shoe is very comfortable and surprisingly light for a steel-toe. I'm currently in Iraq and this tread pattern is perfect for walking on gravel / sand. The shoe isn't breathable so additional insoles are recommended. Otherwise, this shoe is perfect for the winter time here.

I work off-shore on a dive boat. Space is limited. I needed a steel toe shoe. That I could also exercise in. The Timberland Pro Mudsill, is so comfortable, I could jog in it. The sole is very durable, for walking around on deck.

Nice look, a little painful - I purchased these for my fiance because we had been looking for a steel-toed shoe that was comfortable enough for work, but also in his size (15). I was delighted to see that Zappos had his size in a sporty steel-toed shoe, but found the wide width not wide enough. He also doesn't have much ankle support as he would have liked, but keep in mind this is a low cut shoe. It’s enough for now, but will probably purchase another shoe in the future.

Great work shoe - I work maintenance in a factory so i walk miles a day. These shoes are great. The only down side is that they could really use a better insert. I think with a gel pad they will be the best overall work shoe I have purchased.

Solid Shoe - I work in a museum and wanted something with a little toe protection for moving large crates and such. It's a little heavier than what I'm used to wearing, but it’s been a good daily shoe so far.

Good but not great shoes - The biggest problem for me is the insole, just not enough padding for my liking. Spend some extra money on decent insoles and these shoes become 5 star rated.

Great Shoe but the Tongue is a Little Uncomfortable - The shoe is excellent in many situations. I recently used the shoe in wet/icy/snowy conditions and not once did I slip. The shoe has excellent traction and is great, however, the tongue on the shoe is a little bothersome, after a hard day's work, I noticed that the shoe leaves a nice large red mark on the top of my foot. I can easily avoid this by not tightening the strings as tight, but then I feel that my control with the boots is less. Nevertheless, this boot is a solid improvement over my last pair.

GREAT WORK SHOE! I got these for my husband for X-mas. He loved them right out of the box. He said all the guys at work were practically drooling over them! He works over 80 hrs. a week as a cook and he doesn't complain about achy feet anymore! The only complaint he had was the back part was rubbing on his Achilles, but that was the first night he had worn them. GREAT SHOE, GREAT PRICE!

Mudsill Low Steel Toe - Not too flashy for a work shoe. Fit & feel are very good. Very rugged shoe with a good non-slip, gripping sole. Great for those who don't need boots or want the added mobility of a shoe.

Style, comfort, strength - I really like these boots, they are perfect for the job I'm doing. I'm on my feet the whole time, they are cushioned just right, not too soft. They're also really comfortable for just walking. The materials are top quality and have taken a beating, yet they still look great.

Functional, but stylish - The only negative thing I can say about these shoes is that the laces come untied easily. Other than that, I really like them.

Nothing bad to say - These shoes lasted me about a year. For that year they were very comfortable. The only problem was that my stupid big toes wore through the top of the insulation and made the steel toe rust. Now I have small rust stains on the tip of all my socks. That's my fault though. I don't have any friends.

Good shoe - Took a week to break in, but seems to be very comfortable now. Good thing about them is the light weight. They look nice. I am happy with my purchase. Thank you Zappos for extremely fast shipping. I ordered them at 6pm eastern time and they were on my doorstep next day.

Good shoe - It is a good shoe but it has a pressure point in the design that makes wearing for long hours uncomfortable.

Good, Not Great, Work Shoe - I bought these shoes for the steel toe and tread. A huge improvement over my old sneakers. They provide good traction and protection, and are relatively comfortable. However, the laces are slick and untie during work no matter how I knot them. After a couple weeks of use the fabric is fraying, so I wonder how long they'll last.

Good shoe - I received the shoes very fast; I like the quality from Zappos. So far the shoes are good. I work all day, standing on a hard surface and the shoes, so far, have been comfortable. They fit, for size and for a steel toe, are comfortable. The soles are a little slippery, but some surfaces I am on are slick. Also I like them because they are a little different in styling. Many other steel toe shoes like this are too much alike. Good shoe over-all.

Good shoe - So far these seem to be a good shoe. I ordered wide shoes and they are still a bit narrow but otherwise I like them.

Fit pretty good, a little tight in the toe box and I needed to add an arch support. Light on the feet and in general feel good after wearing all day. Zappos service as always was excellent.

Timberland steel toe - Overall a great shoe. The only issue I have is the laces are a bit too short, and I ordered EE width and they're still a little tight. The good points, many people have said they look really great, and I work in a place where the floors get oily but I have yet to slip.
