I wear it almost all the time! I've bought similar type steel toe hiking shoes before. They were only so-so. I purchased a pair of Timberland PRO Titan Hikers High and thought they were GREAT! So I figured I'd try a similar style in the same brand. I ordered the Mudsill's in the same size as the Titans. Just a bit small. So I asked Zappos for an exchange. Great customer service. I got the correct size a day later! The arch support isn't the greatest but then again neither are my feet. But once they were on my feet, they felt great! I have another pair of good low cut hikers but I opt for these pairs instead. Great shoes, great customer service, great price!

Great combination - This is a very comfortable sneaker, good-looking and steel-toed. Great combination and I purchased two pairs.

Great Work Shoe - My husband is on his feet for a full 8hrs a day and needs a comfortable, supportive work shoe. He has tried several other styles and brands, but nothing else has worked for him. He has very high arches and this shoes works perfectly for him. This is his second pair. The first lasted about 2yrs. There is no "break-in" period; they are comfortable right out of the box.

3rd Pair of the same shoe! This is the 3rd time that I've bought this shoe. I wear them to work everyday. There comfortable and light, and feel like you're wearing a pair of gym shoes. If you don't like that heavy steel toe, bulky feeling, these are the shoes for you. I did add additional arch support to my pair, but I also have high arched feet.

Great Work Shoe!! I work on my feet and frequently put in long hours. These shoes are extremely comfortable and do not slip on wet surfaces. The price point is very attractive as well when you consider how much you can spend on an industrial/work type shoe The only small complaint I have is they do sometimes come untied but overall an outstanding shoe!

Great looking shoe - I work for a delivery service company. This work shoe is very light in weight, has excellent traction, very comfortable, and it fits within my company uniform policy.

VERY Comfortable - I work in a mill where steel toe shoes are required and this is by far the most comfortable steel toe shoe I've ever had. I've told several other people about it and they've bought a pair and liked them as well. I just ordered my 2nd pair and other co-workers have already done the same.

Great Shoes - As far as work boots go, these are so comfortable. I work for Fed-Ex and am on my feet a lot and so far these are just like wearing tennis shoes. There is only one thing I dislike about them... the laces are those round laces and are constantly coming untied. A double knot helps. My dad only wears Timberland PROs and I would recommend these to anyone.

Solid work shoe for the construction site - I purchased these about a year ago specifically for work at a construction site. I was a volunteer with no trade skills. I preferred the flexibility of a shoe versus a boot for the kind of activity at this site. In the past year, these shoes have shown remarkable resiliency to a number of challenging situations: rainy days where the mud wanted to suck the shoes right off my feet; rocky terrain with loose gravel over steep grades; tight areas where balance was needed to avoid dangerous falls; and the list could go on and on. There are just too many ways to get hurt on an active site, but with every day these shoes protected my feet, I felt more and more confident. Some specific ways these shoes helped: saved my toes when I dropped an 80-pound cement block; protected my feet when a power-washing wand came too close, and actually sliced the leather over the toe cap; kept me safe from sparks that flew off a circular saw cutting rebar, hot enough to melt the fabric on the side of the shoe. The shoes felt comfortable for wearing for long periods of time in a variety of weather conditions: many days were 8-10 hours at a time in the extreme hot and cold. They handled snowy days and icy areas as well as any other terrain. An extra layer of socks kept the cold out. In the heat of the summer, they breathe very well. The fit was also very good. I have wide feet and having a wide width available made these one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I own, period. Thankfully, the project is now complete and my feet are still safe and sound. I have a comfortable, worn in set of work shoes with battle scars to remember these days with. While a year's worth of work has taken their toll, they are still serviceable work shoes for around the house and garden. I'd buy another pair in a heartbeat should I end up on another project again.

Great shoes - I have bought the shoe every year for the last three years. Nothing compares to its comfort and versatility. I work in the industrial field and have used just about every shoe out there and this one is the best for me.

I bought this shoe mostly for work due to the steel toe protection afforded. They are very comfortable, even after walking around for 10 hours. I recently had to fly south to NC and wore the whole time during my trip. Perfect. Not too heavy as some may think of a steel toed shoe. Timberland makes great products.

Great shoe! I'm on my 3rd pair almost ready to buy a 4th! Great traction, comfortable, long lasting. I'll be sure to buy another after I wear out another pair. I go through shoes fairly quick working 14hr shifts 6 days a week, but for the average joe, these should last a long time!

Timberland PRO Mudsill Low Steel Toe - I purchased these nice-looking shoes for my boyfriend. He likes them a lot. They are comfortable and the shoes breathe which is important for someone who is on their feet all day. The price was right and the picture doesn't do them justice. Really colorful shoes.

Timberland PRO Mudsill Low Steel Toe - This shoe was purchased for my son. He normally wears a size 13, but needed a size 12 in this type of shoe. He is very pleased with the style and comfort of the shoe. For a steel toed shoe, they are very stylish.

Great shoe - This is the second pair of these that I have purchased. They are very comfortable, especially since I'm on my feet 7.5 hours a day. Good traction and they look great. Definitely recommend.

Pleasing the hard to please. Stylish, tough, rugged, and comfortable from day one. Everything one should and can expect from Timberland. I have a hard time finding shoes that not only look good, but fit my wide feet well and stand up to the torture I put shoes through. This pair has been exceeding my expectations. Very satisfied.

Awesome - Once broken in these shoes are very comfortable for being a steel toe shoe and are very well made. Having a wide foot the steel toe in these shoes does not bother me at all. These shoes are so comfortable that they are being utilized not only for work but as my everyday shoe.

I work as a currier delivering packages all day long, and it is true that they aren’t as comfortable as a running shoe; they're way better that what I thought. Very comfortable and good looking.

Awesome shoe for work - I have two pairs of these great shoes; they hold up very well both inside and out and are extremely comfortable even when I am on my feet all day. I have had several pair of low cut steel toed shoes and these are definitely the best so far. I work both out in the field doing hardscape landscape and in a warehouse and they keep my feet dry both inside and out and don't get the horrible foot odor musty smell. Typically I was having to buy new shoes every 3 months, but these have last double that already and still look pretty new considering how hard I am on them.

Comfort!! These shoes are very light weight and extremly comfortable. I wear them everyday and they are almost as comfortable as my street shoes. I am on my second pair and they stand up very well also. The only problem I had was they rubbed my small toe for a couple of days at first but they are perfect now!!

Great Shoe - I've been wearing these everyday, at work, for a year. They are very comfortable, and have been from the beginning. The top closure is a speed-lace, making them a breeze to put on, and take off. They look good, and the tread makes them great in sloppy weather. I'm up and down cement stairs all day and otherwise walking around a casino floor. The tread and exterior are holding up better than expected. The interior lining is beginning to wear through, with no effect on the overall comfort. My company, annually, reimburses me for any steel-toe shoes (I choose to buy). I'll be ordering my second pair next month.

Timberland Pro Mudsill Low Steel Toe - I have had these shoes now for six months and I would have to say I would not purchase another pair of these shoes again. When I received them 9/2006, I had to remove the inner sole and replace it with a liner that had arch support and some degree of comfort. The sides split in about 4 months and the inside lining at the back of the heel was gone in 3 months. The bottom sole of the shoe is it's only redeeming factor. It has worn well and grips well.
